Pokemon Cheats

There are many pokemon games out, all which have many cheats in them, even glitches (I found one glitch at least) I thought it would be a good idea to post the cheats here. They can be for any of the pokemon games, just make sure to put what game your listing the cheat for. There are not just cheats though, there are also little things you can see or do that have nothing to do with cheating, but are interesting, (example would be how you can stand on a tree) you can post those here too.

Let me start with the glitch (I got this off of some site)

This is for red/blue/yellow:


Go to the safari zone and say yes to paying $500 to go in.After you go in come right back out. He'll ask you if you're leaving early. Say no. Go back in and save. Reset the game, and leave. He'll act like your just coming in, and say "Welcome to the Safari Zone! For just $500 you can catch all the Pokemon you want in the park! Would you like to join the hunt"? Say no and leave. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and surf on the east coast. You'll be able to catch pokemon from the Safari! BUT THATS NOT THE GLITCH!! Keep on surfing for awhile until a bell rings. You'll be back in the Safari Zone, and he'll say "did you get a good haul". Then just leave the house and you'll be in [glow=blue,2,300]Glitch City[/glow] (thats what the person called it)

heres one: in varidian city, go to the person who wants to teach you how to catch pokemon. ask him to show you how to catch a pokemon. (sometimes, this WILL NOT work in yellow since he runs out of pokeballs.) fly to cinibar island and surf along the east coast. you will run into charizards and rapidashes and missingo's. if you catch a missingo, you can also catch a ditto. catch the ditto. your game is now glitchifyed. battle alot of trainers and look at your pokemon once in a while. you will see what i mean. the people are now doing stange things like walking into buildings and standing on roofs. sometimes you will encounter another trainer when you are trading with other people. also, now, your pokemon are changing into things shuch as wires and pokeballs. i recomend you dont do this cheat unless you want your game to be glitched.

theres also another: i dont know if this is true, but in pokemon red, you can get the japinese version of pokemon. to do this, you must keep battling the pokemon legue over and over. soon, at the end, you pokemon's names will be in japinese! they will also have diferent illustrations! soon, the people will start talking in japinese!

like i said, this my not be true, but it happened to my friend. he thinks if you play the game too much, the english strip will wear off, leaving the japinese game. this will not work with versions yellow and up for some reason.

The Glitch City cheat works. I did it myself after reading it for the first time, and it worked fine. The only thing is, you can't stay in Glitch city too long, because usually you get stuck and then can't move, but thats ok, because when you get stuck, just reset the game, or fly to another town, and everything is back like it should be. (A note is I never saved in Glitch City, save after you leave it)

Yes, the missingno cheat! Do you know about the other part to it though? Listen, if you don't want to glitch your game, you can still use this cheat, just DON'T catch the missingno or other block thing "pokemon".

What you do is talk to the man, like Red.Yoshi said (the one who teaches you how to catch pokemon) Then fly to Cinnibar Island, and surf on the east coast, (even go far out, but on the east side) You'll see all these lv.100 and up pokemon that you can catch! Then you will come to Missingno, or another thing that looks like some computer chip like bug. DO NOT CATCH IT! Just fight it, or press run away. You will have abunch of what ever item was in your sixth place. Such as, if these were your items : Potion, pokeball, greatball, superpotion, revive, [glow=blue,2,300]master ball[/glow]

as you see the master ball is in the sixth spot, therefore you will now have abunch of that item. There will be a little sysmbol next to the item in that spot to show that you have a lot of that item now. You can do this with any item I belive, and you can do it with even rare candies (trust me, I know rare candies work), and it works on ONLY red, and blue, not yellow.

Weird, the code worked in yellow. And isn't glitch city called fushilian or something like that? And for yellow, trade your pikachu to pokemon stadium and trade it back. Then go to to the surfing guru's house and he will let you play a special mini surfing game.

Wow, I didn't know that about the surfing game. I heard that you have to win with Pika in Pokemon Stadiaum 1, by having him on your team. You have to enter the tourament where there are all lv 100 pokemon. Pika is also supposed to be used every turn that you battle if you do it that way, I don't know if its true, I think I read it in pokemon cheat book I have. Your way sounds much shorter Teo, I must try it!! Also, your right, Glitch City is the town called Fushilian (I don't know how to spell it right either) but only after you do the cheat. Once you do the cheat, the person called it Glitch City.


Here is my trick for this post: Make your character stand on a tree, by cutting one down, then walking to where it just was, saving, and turning the game back on. You'll be on a tree! This is for red,yellow,blue, and probally all the others.

Also, you can fish at all gyms! just use your fishing rod on the statue that says if you beat the gym leader or not. I think this works for red,blue, and yellow.

Sweet, do rare pokemon come out?

I never saw a Chansey with that Glitch cheat. I don't believe rare pokemon come out with that one. For the missingno chaeat, Aerodactyls appear at lv100 and up though.

The Pokemon which appears with the missigno thingy...depends on the name of your character

Really? Wow, I never knew that, do you know what pokemon come out for the names? (I'm guessing it depends on the first letter or something in your name, right?)

Well i had "Ash" as my Pokémon trainers name and i hade Missingo

I just know one example...if you call your character Ash then would appear Squirtel thats the only example I can remeber

Are you sure? Because my friend started out as Ash and there was no difference from mine when i just had a normal name.

I didn't think you could get a starter pokemon from that cheat either....can you?

In yellow, you get all three 'starter' pokemon with no cheat. I'm sure they already have Pokemon Lightningyellow ready for when Leafgreen and firered stop selling.

I know that in yellow about the starter pokemon all being there for you, but the cheat doesn't work in yellow.

In Pokémon Yellow your ment to have all 3 starter Pokémon,thats how it was made to have all 3. What did you think?
