I don't really use legendaries for battle, I just train them for fun (Latias! Jirachi!) as for my starters:
Red/Fire Red
Name: STAN
Starter: Charmander
Crystal
Name: STAN....again
Starter: cyndaquil
Ruby/Emerald
Name: *sigh* STAN
Starter: mudkip (yeah I changed type)
As for pokemon colosseum and pokemon XD, my name's always...STAN XD as for the eevee evolution in XD I chosed Vaporeon

Sorry, I have a strong feeling for all my Pokémon. *hugs Kurogi (charmeleon), Haku (mudkip), Kenny (sandshrew), Ruby (golduck), Booster(haunter), Brook (croconaw), Rose (muk), Blossom (shroomish), Gulliver (wingull) and all the rest* ;-; No dust collecters in my PC anymore. ^^ And I have never heard of a glitch like that. Do you use any cheating device? (Gameshark, AR?)
