Ah yes, saw that on the old Radeon 9700 tech demo. Pretty impressive, but not too intensive. I can run the demo on the highest settings my monitor and card can allow, and I get a constant 60 FPS all the way through.
Now, here's a much more recent tech demo, for the Radeon X1800 XT, the card I have. A tad jumpy and the audio is a tad delayed, but it doesn't really ruin anything.
Now, while it looks like it's running at a constant 30 FPS, on my computer it actually jumps between 20 and 50, depending on the complexity of each scene. So in a way, it's a bit of false-advertising, but it's still pretty darn awesome.
