Yup. Humans, being fairly stubborn when it comes to unfamiliar concepts, must translate such numbers to their own scale in order to make anything of them. A year is still a year, but if you look at it, even IT is still a pretty arbitrary (though logical) measurement.

The way you gave me to try i'm 4.16!
The way i calculate my age in yoshi years is:
Your age x 100/4 or your age x 25
My age in the way i just did is 325 soon to be 350 when i turn 14!

Wow, that's a giant difference right there. Is there any way to prove that formula of your calculated Yoshi age? I'm just wondering if there's any logic behind it .

Actually not so big as you think ,
You see the first way :
multiply your age with 0.32 (or some thing like that) That's while you're assuming that yoshi's will get older SLOWER than humans and will die at the SAME age
whileNoshi thinks :
Noshi thinks that multiply your age with 25 you'll get your yoshi ager , but that's while assuming that yoshi's will get older FASTER than humans but , they will die at a MUCH later age then humans....
SO !
Let's compare the two methods with the die- age ok ?
The first method : 1 yoshi-year has passed when 3.125 human years have passed So : If a yoshi is 100 years old (=dieing age) : In human years , it will be .... 312,5 years old
The second method: If a yoshi is 8000 years old (= dieing age) , It will be 320 human-years old!!( 8000 / 25 )
Get it ? It's allmost the same !!!

based on this formula b h/2 b=.64 h=how old your are really example me b=.64 h=17/2 yoshi years=5.44 years old so what's yours this is how I calculate my age.example: y:15,16,17, h: 10,15,20, It seams very confusing I know, but Im saying if your 16 in real life, then your about 66 in yoshi years. now this is alljust based on my theory.(mind you, if healthy yoshis can live up to alot more than 100 years) and the star yoshi is just a baby, maybe 2 years of age.

You know .... multiplying by .64 and then dividing by 2 is the same as multiplying by 0.32. It's simpler that way.
Anyway ... for those of you who are either confused or doing it backwards, your age in "Yoshi years" should be lower than your actual age. The point of putting your age in "<insert animal other than human>" years is to get a number that you can compare to a normal human lifespan.
For example, my ripe old age of 17 years compares to a yoshi lifespan of about 235 as my "Yoshi age" of 5.44 would compare to a human lifespan of 75.
Animals that live longer than humans give lower ages than your actual age. Animals that live shorter than humans (we've all heard of "dog years") give higher ages than your actual age.

I'm 6.4 years old...
A good while till my 18th... it'll be even worse too... (Being a Yoshi...)
Having trouble imagining a really wasted 18 year old Yoshi... I keep getting 'Touch fizzy get dizzy' on Yoshi's island but there's no projectile vomiting on there...
Still trying to emulate my 18th as a Yoshi... It'll be a good day to celebrate... Excuse to go out and get hammered...
