Chaos emerald adventure is pretty much dead, so i've decided to restart it. Try to stick to the idea of the orginal. There has, however, been a change to my character. My character was experimenting with his biolizard form, and mutated into what you see in my avatar. My normal form, is still good ol'shadow,though.
I was sentenced to guarding the chaos emeralds as a punishment for a crime I was framed for. I had become used to the job, and was starting to fall asleep, when for reason, right in front of my eyes, the emeralds shot up, busted through the roof and scattered! Rolling my eyes, and with a sigh of complaint, i headed off.

"I want those Chaos emeralds!" The "Boss" slammed his claw on a desk. "And you... you said you'd find them for me?" He pointed a crooked claw at me.
"Yeah. For a price, though." I told him.
"What price? I'll give you money. I have money..."
"I'll think of it as I go. You just have to pay me what I want, or else I can arrange to have them re-stolen." I said.
"Fine, Yoshee. You and Champ will bring me the seven Chaos emeralds, wherever they may be, and I'll give you anything you need."
"Hmm... don't you have something that can track them, at least to an extent?"
"Yes, as a matter of fact. Use this GPS. It'll give you the general location of them, but you'll have to pinpoint them, grab them, and bring them to me. If you need... let's call it magical, assistance, I can grant you a small amount, as well."
"Then why don't you just get them yourself?"
"Because I need to finish working on this project while you get me the power source for it."
"Ah. All right, then." I turned to leave.
"Oh, and Yoshee... don't fail me now."
"I won't." I needed that payment too badly to fail. I walked through the dark-looking portal, and came out in front of what looked like a cell. I wondered what it guarded, when a strange lizard came out of it.

Yoshi's Island on part of its giant shore, lying on the sand was the familiar image of a certain dragon, of which he calls himself Teo. He was lying there today, for no particular reason, other than that he had just finished up another adventure and wanted to rest. Out of nowhere, a shining crystal of sorts landed two feet from him, but he was un-aware of the relic as it shone in front of him. If he was awake, he might have investigated it, but as he was sleeping, the green diamond did not make him react, despite the energy seeping from it into the world. Teo russled his silver scales and rolled onto the diamond, now lying on his back, apparently crushing it, but the diamond resisted, and the energy continued to emit out. Why it was there, maybe we'll find out later, but for now, it is well guarded. "Hrmm... Eheheheh... bow..." Teo muttered as he continued to sleep through his dream of world domination, an unusual dream, but one he seemed to be enjoying.

Hey, who are you? What are you doing here? It just as well, the emeralds are gone, if that's what you want, so there's no point in calling security. BUT, i will take you with me.
*traps strange yoshi in mini crystal, and starts to head off* Wait, what that other smell on you? I've smelled that before. HIM! you work for him, do you? It's his fault I had to guard the emeralds anyway, and then he's too lazy to do it himself! Then, again, you are not entirely all to blame. I sense that you didn't really want to steal the emeralds. *lets yoshi out of crystal, but locks arms and legs*Well, looks like I've got a companion! What's your name? They call me shadow, and I don't normally look like this. *transforms back into regular form*

"Eh..." The monster/hedgehog blasted me with a boatload of information. I grunted in response, then answered;
"My name's Yoshee. Now, if you could please let me go, I won't have to use force." I didn't want to call Champ unless I needed something. This guy obviously had a terrific sense of smell, and I didn't want to make him even more suspicious.
"I guess I'll help you. But! I still need to get the emeralds to that guy. He's doing something for me in return." Might as well tell him about my mission, if he already knew who I was working for.

I worked for him, once. Then he double crossed me, and then, I got stuck doing that crappy guardjob. Whatever he has to offer, i'll give you more, and then some. I amassed quite a fortune working for him. Oh, and don't think your little chao can help. I don't think a chao can stop something 50 stories tall!

I am a descendant of yojira, king of the yoshis. And, besides, I have an anti-chao shield, and I refuse to fight a cute little chao.
Oh, and i don't really have all that great a sense of smell, you just reek of his cologne, Swamp-something, not exactly sure what that stupid croc calls it.

"Okay, then..." I stopped struggling. "LET ME GO!" I demanded suddenly.
"HELP!!!" I hoped someone would hear. This guy obviously thought of everything. "SOMEBODY!"
Champ heard, at least. He hid nearby, keeping an eye on that anti-Chao shield. If he could find someone to help... He turned and ran through the nearby bushes and tall grass, over to the beach. He hoped someone would be enjoying their day there...
The first person he found was a silver dragon sleeping on the sand.
<Dude, wake up! My friend is being held hostage...> He told the dragon in its sleep. Luckily, thought-speak works when someone is sleeping... Champ thought to himself. He poked the dragon and called again.

"Hrmm...rar... MINE!!" Teo suddenly lept and snatched the little disturbance that was madly poking at him. Although the movement was sub conscious, the jolt was enough to wake him. Teo looked at the little chao and recognized him. Teo aknowledged Champ's ability to mind speak, and said to the little chao, Say, hey Champ... what are you waking me for? And don't you always trail around Yoshee? You never leave her. I'm guessing it's something I should know...

I growled and balled my fists, but, as the hedgehog said, I was powerless to harm him.
"...Fine. You have me. What do you want?"
<Yoshee's been... sorta kidnapped... But this guy grabbed her and wouldn't let go. I don't know what he's doing right now, but Yoshee isn't happy one bit. Help?> Champ tried to find the right words.
<Follow me!> Without waiting for an answer, he scurried back in the direction of Yoshee and the strange hedgehog.

I'm coming little dude! The dragon said across the space between Champ and him as he got up and sprint towards where the chao was heading. How far is this? They may have gotten away. Either way, I'm battle ready... all I'm worried is that it might be too late. They were travelling across tall grasses, a few shrubberies, and around a few trees, all the while Teo hopping no action had been taken without him.

"...And how do you plan on doing that?" I asked, taking a more relaxed stance and crossing my arms. "He promised. You captured me."

"RAAAH!!" Teo screamed as he leaped into the air and aimed his jaws at the hedgehog, along with the little chao that had bowled him over. In one fell swoop, both the ghostly chao and the hedgehog were imprisoned in between two huge pair of teeth, ghastly breath flowing in between. Wow, that was easy. Thought he'd at least have a sword or something. Then I'd have to burn him... guess it's a good thing he was un armed. Teo held the hedgehog in his mouth, feeling the little chao swirve between two teeth and leaving. So, Champ, mind telling Yoshee that she can start interrogating, as I cannot speak English right now.
(and did you know? Diamonds are actually very common. One single company has a monopoly over them, and only releases a few every year, that's why they're 'rare')

(Diamonds are nothing more than pieces of coal that stuck to thier jobs =D)
I was about to tell the hedgehog that I wasn't interested, but suddenly Champ and a dragon burst out of the bushes and tackled the hedgehog. I pulled out my Tennis racquet instinctively, but I knew I couldn't hurt the hedgehog.
<You're okay!> He ran up and hugged me. <Oh yeah, and my friend the dragon there says that you can interrogate the hedgehog all you want.>
"Okay, then." I slung Champ over my shoulder and looked up at the hedgehog. Something seemed odd about it, but I shrugged off the feeling and began.
"First of all, who exactly are you? Why did you work for my employer?"

To make interviewing...easier... Teo decided to pull the hedgehog out of his mouth and instead, holding him in one hand, sealing his escape. Teo lowered his head to the ground and starred at the hedgehog, his two eyes starring more with curiousity than with fierceness, something he had done on accident.

To show you no harm, I'll reveal what i really am. * removes ring on right arm, revealing a black yoshi with melted skin, One eye just a black dot, tail half gone, left arm gone to the bone* See? this is my true form. When experimienting in space, I was pulled into a black hole, and mutated into this. Your employer gave me this ring, in exchange for helping him.
