Plot:
2020. Yoshi's United have failed. Bowser has taken over the Earth, locking up all the Yoshies. The sentinels have decimated all opposition. Now, a rogue band of Yoshies have found a time portal to take them 20 years in the past and stop Bowser's reign before it starts. But something goes wrong and they end up in the far future. They must find another time portal. But in this millenium.. Yoshies have been extinct for decades. Koopas and Goombas roam the Earth freely. Let the adventure unfold..

POWERS: Harnesses the elements of Nature, focusing especially on weather.. [somewhat can control plants but to a minimal degree], flight, teleportation,
TALENTS: Skilled acrobatic, horseback rider, hand-to-hand combat, adept with most weapons, archery
WEAPONS: Tempest is a living Tetra Forge. He can forge any type of Tetra Weapon by creating solid electricity. His personal favorites are the Tetra Claws, Tetra Mallet, Tetra Sword, and the Tetra Bow/Tetra Arrow.
ARMOR: Gold Adamantium gloves, boots, and vest that are invulnerable to blunt objects [bullets, but NOT knives/daggers/sharp stuff]
OTHER: Previously known as Nightcroshi and Amazon, they died and Mother Nature ressurected them, and in turn Nightcroshi absorbed Amazon's powers, increased exponentially by Mother Nature. Tempest was appointed General of Nature on Earth to keep watch and rid any evils that posed as a threat to the planet.
SAMPLE RP:

The doors flew open, almost flying off their hinges with a slam. A gust of wind rustled in as Tempest stood at the door, eyes glowing. Leaves scattered across the now exposed floor, as two guards awoke from their midday slumber.

"What the hell?" One masked guard shouted, raising his gun.

"Open fire!" The other roared, releasing bullets in a blaze of metal and sparks. The guard lowed his smoking gun, thinking that the onslaught of bullets would have taken his enemy down. But he was wrong.

Tempest glared as he raised his gloves, deflecting the bullets as they bounced off of him uselessly. Tempest narrowed his eyes and opened his mouth.

"Do you really want to fight with me? Because I PROMISE that you will regret it." Tempest's hands sparked as electricity winded around his fists.

"What kind of freak are you?" One guard shouted, eyes open wide with terror. Tempest smiled and whispered,
"A freak of nature." And with that, a round sphere of lightning materialized in each hand. Kerzaaaap! One sphere chucked gracefully at one guard, whizzing at tremendous speed. It impacted on the guard's stomach, and the guard flew backwards with extreme momentum, slamming into the wall. The guard moaned as he slid down, and collapsed in a heap. The second guard turned around, panicking, and sped towards a red button, arm outstretched.

"Weak coward." Tempest spat out, as he raised his right hand, and the remaining ball of electricity danced and morphed into a long tantalizing whip, crackling with power. The golden-clad Yoshi jerked his arm foward, and the whip came to life, twisting like a vine around the guard's waist, electrocuting him as he let out a painful yelp, followed by a piercing scream. The whip disappeared in a spark, and Tempest slowly marched on towards his goal, carefully stepping on the smoking carcass of the second guard, which let out a satisfying crunch.

[Teo]

Name: Teo
Species: Yoshi/human.
Age: now 32.
Description: Yoshi form is a regular light blue yoshi. Human form is a 32 year old man normally.
Powers: Recently lost all powers except for a few last ones that haven't left such as age switching and a small amount of pshycic. No moving something heavier than a dictionary unless he has his staff and bag of magic stones. Is sometimes equipped with hammer, axe and knife.
Talents: Is now better at hand to hand, but uses a little pshycic to enforce a punch. Otherwise loves ranged combat using his staff, or throwing what he can at the ennemy. Also learned to build new things and crafts well.
Weapons: Staff, bag of stones, sack, and on the rarest occasion, makes something using a hammer, clay, an axe, or a knife.
Other: Heh heh, raphy's still heeeeere.

Sample RP:

"Right, let's go!" Says Teo sitting just outside. He takes into his hand his little magic bag. He pulls out a stone with a tree on it, one with brown waves, and two with drops of water. He aims the tip of his staff toward a guard. The white crystal glows, the guards flip around, and one stops moving in mid air. The guard flinches at his team mate, still running, and receives an uppercut in his lower shell turning him on his back. Teo hops in the air, does a flip, and ground pounds. The guard let's out an "oof!" as his eyes grow big, then shrink again closing. Teo turns to the other guard who finally lands on the ground after being in the air five seconds and brings down an electric spear on Teo. The spear slows its way down, not going fast as if something was holding it back, but it eventually reaches. Teo falls to the ground. The guard points his spear at Teo, but before long, he's scissor cutted by his legs and falls backwards on his shell. "Well that was fun." Teo says picking the two guards spears, clipping them to a clip on the bag, now holding the staff, an alarm sounds. "Abort!" Teo says. He holds his staff up, a few stones make their way out of his bag, coming to his hands, one with a drop of water and another with a face. The crystal glows brightly, only white is seen, then Teo finds himself in the house of the few yoshi's that escaped bowser's cruel fate.

DESCRIPTION: a black yoshi with brown spiky hair, purple spikes, and dark blue shoes.
POWERS: night: can transform into a shadow. day: slow down time for a short period.
TALENTS: spying, stealth
WEAPONS: a black and green katana with a moon
emblem on it.
armor: a black vest and dark green boots
OTHER: he is a living shadow yoshi with the powers of darkness and time.
SAMPLE RP:
"brrrr" says night as he walks through the cold chilly building "hmmm... how do i get out", says night. "i'm so confused. which door do i go through, what if there are enemies on the other side", night mumbles. "well i'll take my pick", said night as he opened a door. "just my luck no enemies,just the exit", night said joyfully. what....."oh man can't i be right for once" said night as two bulky gaurds jumped out of hiding. "losers" he said after slicing both gaurds with a speedy attack. "Ahhhhhhhhh" both gaurds cried as they fell out of the window.

Name: British (Real name unknown)

Species: Yoshi

Age: Unknown

Description: Dark Purple colour, wear a full length leather jacket, waistcoat, and a fedora when wanting to look suave (Yeah, I pretty much lifted this from the Y2 RP )

Powers: None, as such. No magical weirdy stuff for me.

Talents: Technological / mechanical expertise, exceptional aim, agility.

Weapons: Liandri Corporation ASMD Shock Rifle MK4 - Fires either a higly damaging near-instant hit beam, or a slower moving plasma ball. The ball can be hit to create a lage explosion, damaging to Electronics, and pretty much everything else. The MK4 also comes with a power amplifier when using the scope to increase damage significantly, although this uses a lot more energy than a standard shot.

FX4 Systems Link Gun: Fires medium speed energy bolts, or a concentrated plasma beam. More useful in close range than the ASMD, but you need to lead your shots. Other users of a Link Gun can be shot with the beam to channel power to the second user.

Personal ammo recharger: Small device that recharges energy cartridges for Britishs weapons. Uses various energy in the surrounding area to do this, although it can take time to fully rechare a cartridge.

Armour: Waistcoat is lined with Ditanium Reinforced Kevlar, and will stand up to most hits. Something close range could punture through it though. British also carries a small screen generator, which acts as a small disc shaped shield to deflect attacks. It cannot be damaged, but the small size can be shot around.

Other: NOT the British from the original Y2 RP... this is his son. The Original British disappeared soon after the sentinels took control. The Present British (the one in this RP) took on his Fathers nickname as a sign of respect... it is unknown whether the Past British is alive or dead.
He takes after his Father in several ways. British is pretty much a mystery. Keeps himself to himself, except for a small select group of acquiantances. Tend to be a little anti-social, and apathetic, but can and will stand up for the 'right thing' (notice this is in quotes.)

Sample RP:

British strolls into the facility, it was apperantly unguarded... But for something this important, there had to be guards stationed somewhere nearby. It was the old cliche of 'Its quiet... too quiet'.

"Unguarded? It can't be." British mutters to himself. "This is ridiculous, why aren't --"

He got cut off, as a shower of sparks exploded on the floor FAR too closely. "Snipers? What fun.." He ducked behind a nearby crate, and peered out to see what was going on. There were 2 sentries positioned in concealed windows next to the entryway, taking aim... One droid, one other that British can't make out. Another shot ricochets off nearby.

"..Amateurs. They don't know who they're dealing with..." British pulled out his ASMD, and edged out from the opposite side of the crate, where the sentries wouldn't expect it. The scope of the ASMD reveals itself with a small whoosing sound. British takes aim, and fired an overcharged shot into the droid, the intense heat of the beam causing a chain reaction in the droids power systems, destroying it completely. The force of the explosion pushed the other sentry out from his position in the window.

As it turn out, it was a human opponent. He dusted himself down and went for his own rifle, then also ducked behing a wall, pretty much like British had. It looked like British had a waiting game on his hands.
"Great, as if I wanted to play hide and seek at this time," British thought to himself. "What is a human doing her anyway? This guy never used anything other than robots..."

A high powered shot ricocheted off the wall knocking British's weapon from his hands. "What the hell?! A pool shark?" He could hear his opponent laughing at the other end of the hall...

"Nobody makes a jackass out of me and gets away with it." He takes a breath, then rolls over to another crate, which seemed to have a device for easy lifting attached to it. Another shot hit the ground as British rolled behing the crate "...This could be interesting. So he wants a trick shot does he?"

British looked out from behind the crate, to see his oppenent reloading furiously, it looked like his weapon had jammed. "..Perfect." He adjusted the emitter on the device to reduce the gravity around the heavy crate. Now, it was floating an inch or so off of the ground, ready to be pushed. With all his strength, he shoved the crate into a wall. It bounced off, and carried on going towards the sentry still reloading. With a crash it ramm ed into the gurad, carrying him over to the next well, where he was smashed inbetween the wall and the crate, knocking him out instantly.

With both guards out of the way, British goes over o pick up his weapon, and make way for the large hangar doors where the KO'd sentry is.

"So... how do you like my bank shot? Heh heh..." The sentry just let out a feeble groan.

He pushed the switch to turn on the elevator, which carried him up to the next level, where more guards would most likely be waiting... which obviously meant more fun.

The idea was to develop an interesting story, which is why we often made long posts in the Y2 one. To be honest putting the RPing you did in it would make it look... odd.

But hey, if you can take a shot at RPing like we did in the Y2 one obviously it'll be considered.

Ok, lets give this a try...

NAME: Toshi

SPECIES: Yoshi

AGE: 5 1/2

DESCRIPTION: Blue Yoshi with black wrist bands. (look at avatar)

POWERS: Heal (Heals himself and allies within range using a soothing tune from his instrument)
Mega Sound Wave (A fast and powerful wave of sound which hits multiple enemies, there are also more Sound Wave moves available...wait and see)
Charge (Plays a guitar tune to increase own and allies abilities)

TALENTS: Wall Jumping ability

ARMOUR: None!

WEAPONS: Saber (A basic swordsman's weapon, light and durable). Handgun (A basic handgun with decent range)

OTHER: Guitar (plays tunes on this which helps him to perform some of his moves)

SAMPLE RP:

"Hmmm...enemies, time to have fun!" Toshi runs towards them, unfortunately, they avoid the attack,

"There is the imposter, get him!", they fire their guns, Toshi deflects the bullets away,

"You're making me laugh guys!" Toshi attacks again, but again fails, "Man, they are quick!",

"We will not lose to you pathetic rebels" they fire their guns, Toshi deflects the bullets back at them, one of the bullets hits one of the soldiers, "Aaaaaaarrrgh! This...cant...be..." the soldier falls to the floor while the other soldier quickly fires his gun at Toshi again, it misses,

"Ha, now lets hurt your backside!" Toshi unleashes a powerful sound wave from his guitar and hits the soldier with incredible force,

"Noooooo...aaaaaargh...", Toshi puts his saber away,

"Is that it?" he looks at his arm to see that he has been wounded, "Aaah, that shot didnt miss, aaah the pain", Toshi quickly begins to play a tune from his guitar, the wound seals and is healed, "Thank god for instant first aid!".

Yeah Light vs Dark was like Y1 because it was the only RPG .. and Y2 was the second. Then we got all those other Cafe ones and what not. LD Sorry .. I'm not gonna be able to admit you unless you fix up your style. It's just kinda odd like that. Teo, you're in, but try to clear up your writing a little. It's kinda hard to understand. Two security guards rush to the area of the crash.
"No sign of anything" Two pipes burst out of the walls and spew water at the guards and a figure drops from the roof*
Digi aims the pipes at the secturity cameras temporarirly puting them out as the guard get back on their feet. Digi turns around, " You better look up!"
The guards look up and see only the ceiling. "What?" Just then Digi brings up a water up underneath them and send them to them crashing upwards. The cameras suddenly flick back on. "Hiya! See you there! Better be ready," Digi taunts as she races through the base.

Alright. I'll jump in.

NAME: Lazoshi.
SPECIES: Yoshi.
AGE: 24.
DESCRIPTION: Light Blue Yoshi, red shoes/spikes, dark blue saddle.
POWERS: Straight LASER. (Brutally simple, LASER beam cuts through enemies, objects. Beam effective for about 2 seconds.)
TALENTS: Negotiation, Thoughtful contemplation, Force.
WEAPONS: 7 inch Cr/Ti knife (Chromium/Titanium. One of the strongest possible alloys.). Radio for Vindicator support (Vindicator is a Battleship.).
ARMOUR: Internal ECM generator (deflects most projectiles from front and sides.).
OTHER: Except for skull and jaw, top half of body’s bones replaced with metal. Generators near heart. Not very good at hand-to-hand combat. Resistant to manipulation.

I can’t believe I’m back here again. He could have stuck with the compromise and everything would have been fine. Sometimes it seems Koopas are just asking for trouble. Lazoshi’s thoughts were interrupted when he came up to a gatehouse, the fist line of defense. It was a simple thing, with a large wooden barrier on hinges attached to a small booth. The booth wasn’t much to look at either, wood base with glass. It was most likely manned by proxy personnel who didn’t know anything about combat. He never understood why they weren’t trained better.

He reached up and tapped smartly on the booth’s glass, apparently interrupting an important conversation- he saw a shadow behind the booth jump, and heard angry footsteps. “You can’t enter!” The Guard’s voice was raspy, as were most koopas “This is restr-“ The Guard rounded the booth’s corner and stopped dead. “Gah! You?! H-Help!”

The Guard’s partner turned around just in time to see a bright red light pierce his comrade’s chest then arc up, he herd his comrade’s last, desperate gasp. The Partner’s heart as filled with rage- he wasn’t a very popular guy, and the Guard had been his best friend, his only friend. He leapt to his feet and howled with anger- charging toward whoever had killed his ally.

As The Partner reached the booth’s corner, like his friend before him, the Partners world flashed with red. The Partner could feel his rage and momentum stop... Then he stopped, too.

Lazoshi waited for several more minutes, and when he was sure no one else was coming, he entered the small booth expecting to find some way to contact the security of the base the other’s were supposed to be guarding, just like last time. He wasn’t disappointed. He flipped the switch on “You all know who I am, and the Vindicator is in position. Would you like to surrender?” They never did, but he always asked anyway. Just in case.
