"I hope you know what you're doing!" I said as I charged through the lines after Toshi. I fought hard, harder than before now thanks to the need to protect someone who's doing something which of course I had no idea what, yet he wouldn't do that if it didn't help. Great, one fight after another, and now, I got to watch two fronts, hope everything goes well in the end of all this....

Toshi eyed YW in the corner of his eye "Nice...here we go..." Energy started to build up around his body, he muttered the word aloud "Sacred powers, cast your purifying light upon these corrupt souls, rest in piece sinners!!" Toshi's body glowed suprisingly bright, he yelled out, grinning evilly "JUDGEMENT!!!" He punched the air and floated slightly, then light beams appeared from nowhere, pounding down at the enemies. The whole room nearly cleared out. Toshi floated back to the ground, then fell onto his knees "Ngh..." he closed his eyes tightly, he opened them up again to see that it had worked, he puffed and panted, "Phew...man...that...was tiring..." Toshi seemed to have exhausted himself...

No time to think and absorb what just happened, even though it did leave me stunned at the sheer power exibited. I noticed Toshi seemed to have overextended himself, so I moved back to him, fighting the rest of the troops nearby. I would take him to Electric and Yoshee, but these goombas wouldn't wait for me to do that.

red.yoshi now had a discman, and was bobbing his head to the re-mixed gerudo theme from zelda outside the door.

I watched YW approach with Toshi. Here's my chance to help out a little... I thought, and started chucking eggs at the Goombas that were advancing on YW and Toshi.

I started explaining, "Well, after you fell asleep, we.. umm... grabbed the rest of the Power Stars, and Blood defeated Bowser. Then, we marched for a while and came across Toshi-" I pointed at the winged blue Yoshi, "and Electric." I motioned towards the yellow Yoshi nearby. "Then, we came through a forest, which turned out to be an army of Boos, and came here. YW, Blood, Electric, Toshi, and I fought a few guards, and came in. I went into an armory and got jumped by a bunch of guards, and YW and Blood showed up and helped me. I was unconcious, then I woke up and they carried me here. Then, this army of Goombas showed up." I panted a little.

The battle was over, every goomba had fallen and a key appeared in the middle of the arena but Blood had other plans first, he cut of the head of a goomba, and checked its blood to see if it was poisoned. It was normal, Blood grabbed the goombas head and looked at YW and Toshi.
"Well boys cheers!" Blood drank the blood leaking from the goombas head.

In a low voice, I spoke, "Ew...that looks really gross...". This scene would have gotten rated NC-17 by anyone anyday. Maybe except Blood. I went up and picked the key that lay there...a strange little thing. Gold colored with a silver outline and a sapphire hold. Very beautiful. I swallowed the key for later.
Now what?

I watched Teo, making sure I didn't look at the bloody mess that was the Goomba's head. I didn't need to give up my lunch. "I guess Blood, Toshi, and YW are going to... ummm... drink that blood?" I guessed.

My tongue hung out and almost reached the ground. "Urck..." Really...how COULD bowser be so stupid?? I picked up a non-executed gooma, he lay eyes closed. I threw him in the air catching him on the way down. Then I saw the underside of his foot. It had writing. It read: Made in Bowsers castle. WARNING!! Goomba replicas designed to self destruct when all others are non-operational.
I looked over my shoulder. One goomba was bleeding and favoring his left leg. He slowed down. Then he slowed more. He closed his eyes. I dove. "NOOOOO!!" I reached out my tongue, but he hit the ground and broke his head.
Smoke and remains of the castle could be seen all around the island, no matter where you stood.

red.yoshi struggled over to blood.
red.yoshi: sir...i really think....its not safe to eat anything here anymore...
red.yoshi pointed to the castle remains, the other doors.
red.yoshi: i wonder why they wont unlock...
red.yoshi falls behind blood.

I had scooted behind a sturdy-looking platform right after Toshi shouted, "NOOOOO!" There was a huge explosion, and I coughed after the smoke cleared. The boulder looked ready to crumble, so I quickly crawled out from behind it. "Is anyone there!?" I called. I couln't see far through the smoke.

I think I bent something...I looked at my leg...the heel was facing forwards...the kneecap too. I twisted the leg the way I thought it was supposed to go, then put it back in its socket. I lay there, avoiding a black out, but too weak to move. I wondered...
I morphed human and tried to stand, which much greater ease. "Hello?" I called. "Everyone alright?"

"YOSHEE!!" I went over to where I thought was her voice. Human's having lived longer in big polluted cities had an edge over smoke filled areas. The smoke cleared a bit and just a fog was left. Then I saw...waaaay above....a gargoyles head fall...

Blood was unscathed, his liquid body protected him from all debris. Blood paced around looking for anyone who may have been hurt.
"Teo!! Yoshee!! Red!! Electric?! Someone answer me!" Blood was slightly worried for them, they were not made of liquid and could have been seriously injured by the explosion. Blood
would have to do something, the path was getting even more perilous. He would have to work his magic a few more times.
