I walked down to Bowser's Castle, the pretty gem dangling on my neck. "Go there," It told me. Such a nice voice... "Time to be evil for a change." I thought darkly. MUHA...cough.

"Swallowed your gum?" I said in a dark cloak walking down the hall. I had been hypnotized into thinking enemies were friends and vice versa. "Ha! No worry." Anything aligned with evil looked pretty good to me.

CJ was just wondering around in the forest, when he came across Red.Yoshi. "Who are you?" There was no answer. CJ tried to wake him up.

"Hmmm..." I looked through many doors. The gem told me to go a few more down. I bumped into someone in a dark cloak. The gem seemed to say, "Friend", so I greeted him. "I'm Yoshee," I said. "You are?"

"He assigned me on guard duty, I'm supposed to guard one of four prison cells. The three others are guarded by people who look like me. He already assigned me and specified for me not to come."

"Oh, ok." I said before walking through the door. Bowser was inside, waiting for me. "I'm glad you like my little present?" He said as I fingered the gem hanging on my neck. "Yes, sir." I answered. "Well, I need you to be a special guard. Make sure the enemy does not breatch your guard station at one of the prison cells." "Yes, sir." I said, then headed toward to my post.

The little cells were each filled with suprises such as a fifth and sixth one was merely made up of posters while the others had flaming bars or a whole mess of traps. But they'd never find out that only one cell held the key to another cell which held the amulet that opens a small passage in another cell which would lead to a whole mess of traps! Really only the princess knew which cell she was in, she had ben taken in and shown the combonation. Not likely she could communicate outside the cell, I would feel the message and intercept it if it was magic. And there wasn't even a toilet or plumbing in there! All there was was a water pump and a drain leading to a cleaning facility. No escape...we were sure. Almost too sure.

I passed by Teo. "A water drain?!" I said. "Mario can get in by plumbing, no matter how small." That is, if Mario or Luigi was around.
