"I think...it's a new one of bowsers minions!" The figure laughed. "Yes, I AM an ELEMENTAL KOOPA! I'm the Earth Koopa! My brothers the Fire, Air, and Water koopa's seek the guardians treasure." "And why are you controlling the sun mister Element?" I said trying not to bite Yoshee... The koopa responded: "I'm controlling the planet Earth! Not the Sun! Now feel my!...wait...you can breathe in space can't you?" I nodded. "And it would take half an hour to throw a pebble from the Earth!" yup, he had not been waiting for this.

I wanted to charge at him and bite him, but unfortunately, I might bite Yoshee. Then I had an idea...I wispered to Yoshee in a low voice... "I think I got it...I'll get close to him, open my mouth, then you lick him up. Ready, go!" I dashed for the koopa beating my wings as he ducked under. I stopped on a dime over him and opened my mouth, Yoshee's turn.

Kara was started to see the yosji again, she nearly slimed him again but he didnt seem thereatning. she looked at him curiuously "Was cold but hot now. This not right. What do?" she could speak english but ovisly not very well. she learned it while hiding in the city. she can understand fairly well but speaking it is another matter

red.yoshi: i really dont know...we need to do somthing about this, we have to go and...
all of the sudden, red.yoshis chocobo jem started glowing, and his eyes grew wide. for those who dont know, red.yoshis chocobo jem controls his age. the chocobo jem started to dissappear, and it vanished in a burst of light.
kara now looked at red.yoshi. red.yoshi, now a baby, looked up at kara with a sad look.
red.yoshi: goo...
red.yoshi: we newd to stop swumthing...
then red.yoshi pointed over head. it was am elemental, but which one?
red.yoshi outstreaches his arms for kara to pick him up. he wanted to get his jem back from the guardian.

kara watched red and backed away s his jem glawd, and was relly surprised to see a baby is his place, she picked him p an out him on her saddle for safe keeping and lookscuriously at the elemential wondering what she should do

red.yoshi makes grabing motions for the jem, and kara wonders over to it. red takes the jem, and turns back into an adult.
red.yoshi: ok, now to that elemental. kara, since your half yoshi, half dragon, do you have wings?
red.yoshi: *sees a pair of yoshi wings and snatches them for his use*
red.yoshi: when your ready, we have to go up there and see whats wrong. i have my jem more protected now.

I was expecting something like that. I clamped my right wing around him and grabbed him. Flying with only one wing though it would be hard to return on land. I made a dive, releasing Yoshee and indicated in the free fall to latch on to my back. In free fall like this, it would take...say... two minutes to reach the ground. Unfortunately, I had not expected myself to start burning up in the atmosphere. I lifted my left wing to slow the fall and I stopped grilling. It would be a rather long decent. The air became thicker and we were over the sand. I tucked the second wing and landed in the sand, staying stuck...

"I can't reach you!" I screamed back, but my voice was lost in the wind. Oh well. Hopefully, there was sand underneath. I flipped onto my strong legs and feet. Yoshies were good at landing on their feet. I braced my self for the landing. My feet burned with the friction of falling through the atmosphere, but didn't melt or anything.

I squirmed around and was finally unstuck from the sand. "Wow, we made it Yoshee!" I looked back. No yoshee...just a koopa squirming under my right wing. "Yoshee?" I looked up, Yoshee was still falling! She must have been going terminal velocity, the top speed at which you can fall. To a human, it would be fatal. It would have been fatal to a human from a runty twenty meters! To a yoshi, was the maximum falling speed possible something you could live through? I was hesitating...I could go up and save her...but that would mean letting the magikoopa go! If I let him go, we'll have to defeat him while he's neutralized right now! I couldn't just randomly catch her without lifting up, she might land on a spine and...ugh, the thought of it just disgusted me. Then I came up with a plan...
I dug the koopa into the ground when he tried lifting the sand. I breathed fire on it and he was trapped in glass, a non-Earth substance! I flew up to try to catch Yoshee who fell right past! I caught up using wing beats and tried to line up with her free-fall. It was difficult to match speeds...I was right next to her! Hope she grabbed...

red.yoshi: *grabs a paratroopa and plucks its wings. red.yoshi fits them on his body.*

red.yoshi: *hovers a little bit off the ground, waiting for kara.*

kara looks at the wing curiouls and suddly they attach to her, ad suddly she is floting off the round, though she can't et mutch lift due to her large weight, she trys going forrward and goes in reverce"flying hard, walkin easy.why no walk?"

red.yoshi: *looks up, and points at the elemental*
red.yoshi: here, stay right here. ill go up and find out whats wrong. ill be right back.
so, red.yoshi flys up to the elemental. tepethetically, he comunicates with the somewhat not pleased elemental.
red.yoshi:
elemental: [you have destroyed our homes.]
red.yoshi: [that is not true.]
elemental:
with a big scream from the elemental, he took red and threw him twords the ground.
red.yoshi came souring, at a too fast pace to even look at if you slowed time a day. red.yoshi left a large indent were he had landed. he was in shock with a surprised look on his face. this battle was too strong for him to handle by himself. the elemental soured away leaving red.yoshi on the ground unconsious.

kara stood on the ground watching or trying to watch re up in the sky and wondered what was going on up there, she watched ion horrer as red came crashing down to the earth and into the ground. she rushed over hioping he wasnt hurt
