"Did you see... Kara's near! And her greed for Emeralds surpases ours, she might turn evil! We have to...oh no, but she can't be destroyed!" The ground shook. "OVER THERE!!" I caught on to a group of kids that were following a tall man. They all starred at the shaking ground as it opened. Five long missiles came out of the Earth, each complex but it seemed they were loaded with mini-missles. I saw them fly towards a dragon in the sky...Kara! They shot their mini-missiles which turned out to be nets which grasped on to parts of her, five mini sticky nets that sent a high, yet inneffectif voltage. Then one of the bigger missiles came. A warhead was on the end. It hit Kara directly and she fell from the sky where many many soldiers came out, each with stun and tranquelizer darts. The group was asked to leave premisise by a marine.
"Yoshee, now's our chance, they're busy with Kara!" I said grabbing her hand and rushing in while the marine turned his head. We went up the stairs and into a long hallway. "I smell it coming this way!! Do you?" I said to Yoshee as I pointed to the right, and it was right in the senate! I walked over to the door and listened: "This thing must be displayed!" "No, it must be kept in high security!" "It should be sold for funding?" "NOOO!!"
Great, the senate was arguing where to place the emerald. "Yoshee, we could bust in or wait to hear where they put it."

kara blinksed as red fells off she tryed to catch him but suddly there where sticky things comoing at her, she tryed to shake them off but befire shhe could something hit her and she felt a jolt tence up all her musscles and she fell to the ground with a crash, she tried to fight off all the guards even with her flame breath she eventualy passed out from all the darts and tazers, the largew dragon layed helpless out in the open

"mom!" red.yoshi said as he saw kara fall from the sky. he stoped running. he was in the middle of the forest now. he practiced his word sounds with his mouth while he was running. when humans ran, he noticed, they got tired faster. he panted heavily, and sat under a tree. he shead a tear as he sat there, thinking about if he would ever be a yoshi again, or if he would ever see his mother again. the sad moments - it triggered somthing in his memory he lost when he was re-born! he knew he was special, not ordinary. unfortunatly, he needed his tail to generate his special ablities. he could still use a few for a limited amount of time. he got up, brushed off, and started running the direction he came.

"Uhm, yoshee, we might want to do this BEFORE the guards return." Then I thought of a way in...then again, where was it? It smelled in there...but it felt...high. I heard another voice. "It's mine!! IT'S MINE!!" It burst through the door and ran over me, it was a possesed senator! Yoshee and I pinned him and he dropped the emerald. A senator rushed over to me as I had the Emerald in my hand, it was the diamond one! "Thank you for stopping that man, he was driven mad by this emerald. We are deciding what to do with it..." I cut him off right there. "Actually, I've been on the hunt for the other six of these for quite a while now myself... and if you're arguing, I'll be glad to take it off your hands." The man starred. "We can't let an eleven year old run off with a diamond like this when he doesn't even know anything abo-" "First, this is a magical emerald. Second, I'm twelve. Third, I'll take that dragon outside off your hands in exchange for this emerald." What had I said? I could have just run off! "THERE'S A DRAGON?? Kid, how many comics have you been reading?" Then a marine came in. He spoke in a loud voice, "Sir! The dragon is under control!"
"What'd I tell ya'?" I spoke. Then it was the senators turn. "They said it's under contro-" "Look, I'm leaving now, do you want me to ri-" The marine grabbed me by my emerald less wrist. "Kid, this is no time to argue with a senator! Just pass him the rock and evacuate before drastic measures must be used!" That triggered a knee-jerk reaction. "Drastic measures? I'll show you DRASTIC MEASURES!!" The hand he grabbed turned into a claw and he let go as soon as the scales reached where he grabbed me. I spoke, "Let...us...leave. Peacefully. I'm 12, and I'm armed." He pointed his tazer at me when Yoshee wacked him in the back of the head and knocked him out. "Where'd you learn to do that!?" I said returning to a yoshi form and sprouting shortened wings. She returned my question, "Uhm..." Alright, not REALLY a response, but it'll have to do! "Aw forget it, this one's yours." I said tossing the diamond emerald to Yoshee who slurped it up. I waited for a change...waited...waited...the senator screamed...waited...waited...another senator took a chair...waited...waited...knocked the chaired senator with a wing...waited...waited... "COME ON!!!" And as if on que... something happened! She hiccuped...

red.yoshi returned from the forest, grinning. "yes, i cannot turn myself back into a yoshi, but i can do this!" red.yoshi started to change - a gift he recieved at the age around 7 of his actual life. he made himself really small. he looked like a dolphin and a toad combined. he made himself invisible, and crawed twords the dragon site. he turned back to human. he poked a guard. "sir, can i please learn more of this spicies?" "hey, its another kid! they have been all over in areas reserved for workers only!" "got that wrong" red.yoshi said as he stole his gun, and whipped it accross his face. "im 14." he kicked the guard, and ran off with the gun to were teo and yoshi presently were. "i know things" he said as he half grinned running twards the white house "and i want my yoshi self back teo!"

"Hic! Hic! I'm feeling wierd... hic!" I stood there, then suddenly my tail grew longer, I grew small wings, and my eyes slanted upward. I turned blue, and suddenly had black wrist bands. My legs grew longer and more muscular, and I grew another spike. Red streaked under my eyes, down my back, and over the back of my wings. A red fork appeared at the back of my tail, and I had a snout with two small fangs. I had black mini-shoes that didn't cover my clawed toes, and I had large ears with red ends. I looked around with my new, slanted eyes. We had to get out of here! "Come on, Teo!" I shouted, flapping my wings. I didn't get very far with my very small wings. "Ahh! I gotta ride you!" I made a superyoshi leap onto Teo's growing back, my tail waving in excitement.

"FAST TOO!!" I took off through the senate room and went out through a window to the back. I was hoping not to run into anyone that way. Well, I was wrong. I flew over an airforce base.
Several jets unparked, they would be a threat in the air! I skidded near the ground, harmlessly knocking them over and making them un-operational. Soon many were coming so to stop them, I'd need to cut them off. I burned using fire breath the middle of the runway. That should stop them! Or so I thought... I was on my way to Europe now! I gained altitude, but I had followers. Some took off NOT from the burnt runway, but from the ground LEADING to it! I thought I could outfly them, like the San Fran ones, but these were much faster. But they sure can't do loops! I executed a very tight loop and ended up smelling another's fumes when I slowed down. The time it took them to loop around, I had aquired a headstart. Soon their fuel was faltering under them and they made their way back. "That was easy!" I thought. I, as usual, should have excpected what was coming next.
Three red dots came streaming out of the sky, and they didn't look friendly. They had a big cockpit nose, and a tail with two huge looking side tail ends. They didn't have missiles...something was defenitaly not right. They were behind me. Classic, they were going to shoot me...with what? I soon found out. They fired lasers! Just like in the movies, lasers came out at an absurd 'Ptutututututututututu' rate! I got hit in the leg and it went numb. Uh oh! The tip of my wing was hit and it wouldn't respond! Just the tip though. I did an abrupt stop so they would pass me, but they only came to my sides. They stopped on a dime! I made my way to a stopped one and he took off, but I had latched on.
"YOSHEE!!! BREAK THE GLASS AND PULL THE YELLOW LEVER!! THE ONE WITH THE RED HANDLE!!"

I glided to the tip and smashed the glass with my clawed hand. "Ah-HA!" I ripped out the lever, and wires sparked. I had pulled it the right way before ripping it out, thankfully. I wa ssurprised at my sheer power, and overbalanced. "AHH!" I tumbled off the missile, bouncing off Teo's zapped leg. I quickly opened my wings. Maybe if I had a high takeoff... Yes! I soared underneath Teo, but he couldn't see me. I was right under his belly.

"She pulled the eject button, but nothing is happening, except its becoming a big hunk of solid FLIGHTLESS METAL!!" I said, the pilot was now in a large capsule and screaming to the water! I dived down and caught it in my arms. "Gnnnn!!!" I muttered, making my slow way back to DC where I dropped off the shuttle and left. This time, I had less company...in fact, the other two ships disappeared. Now where's Yoshee? I let out a roar. "YOSHEE!?" As I headed to Europe.

ROAR!! Yoshee was somewhere! I sniffed a nearby emerald...very close. I turned around, YOSHEE!! She was low flying, but she looked cool! "Need a taxi?" I said. "Then we can get right to Europe. If we're lucky, by tomorrow." Then I wondered. "But we can't leave Kara...or can she manage?"

red.yoshis senes changed direction. "you can run teo, but you cant hide!" red.yoshi took one last check on his mother. alot of people surrounded her. "thats it." he said. he started changing again - this time the size of a very tall man. his eyes glowed blue, and a blue aroura surrounded everyone in that area but he and kara. he morphed back, and ran over to kara. he poured some substance in her mouth. "she will wake up before my time stop wears of" he said camly. he ran twords the white house underground. he dove in, and took one of their hover ships. he inserted his hand into the hand scan. "user not identifyed" replyed the machene. "piece of crap" he said. then he noticed 2 guards. he started to fire his gun he hand eariler. he picked up the guards' ammo, and took one of their life less bodys over to a hovership. he planted the hand on the scan plate. "user access identifyed. climb aboard sir." red.yoshi climbed aboard the ship, and stuck his gun into the firing slot. the machene accepted it, and turned it sideways. shooting and speed controls lie infront of him. he took out the help chip from the machene, and placed it on his farhead. a hologram showed him how the ship opereated. "good" he said. he replaced the help chip, and rode full spead out the door, and into the sky. about 5 times as fast as teo and yoshee were going.

kara slowly startrd to wake up, she shreded the nets holding her, she let out a huge roar and wan RELLY mad now, she went on a rampage though dc torching and smashong anything she could to vent her fustraitions and this time kept an eye out for anything trying to snag her. she searched for red but couldnt finsd his scent anywhere but she could smell teo and yoshee so she took to the sky and followed there scent still rather grumpy and in a rather bad mood

"Ya!" I swooped up to Teo and grabbed his leg. I shimmied up and took my seat on his neck. "Hehe, I need to get bigger wings." I said. I kinda liked this dragon form, and it was good enough for me. Greed was the enemy. "Europe? What's a Europe?" I asked. "I'm ready for a lecture." I relaxed on Teo's neck, closing my wings and feeling the air rush past.

"Yoshee..." "yes?" "I think one of those ships HASN'T given up... and the scent of another emerald is nearby. Moving towards us. We need a third emerald to stay ahead!" Then one of the ships reached me, one of those red ships that fired lasers. I managed to pull off another loop. At those high speed and their areodynamics, that was impossible. The ship...it fired no weapons. At first. It just hung around... but every time I tried to near it, it sped away. I couldn't see the pilot! "Yoshee, transfer to me the power of that new emerald...I might be able to neutralize this guy."

"Ah..." I somehow couldn't muster the willpower to give up my Emerald. What was happening? Was I becoming as greedy as the other possessed ones? "I think I could just see in..." I said. I saw... a man. "It's some man, but wait... He's got glowing eyes!" I could see it reflected off the glass roof of the missile.

Let's find a way without giving any emerald up. A fuse!" I let out another loud roar as I soared into the sky and glowed a dark brown. "COME ON YOSHEE!!"

kara kept up her pace of flying and was flying very fast, all she could think about was finding read and getting more emralds, anyone or anything that got in her way would be destroyed
