I was in the water...careful to try to camouflage myself and makes as little wripples as possible. I made it halfway when several others hopped in swimming madly and making themselves noticed big time. They were greeted by arrows and retreated hastily. I still slowly crept in the water...slowly...no wrinkles...the moon covered by clouds, no light for them to see me too well. But they had probably HEARD the others making that comotion from where they were. I finally reached land. Now, how to enter? Scale the wall, get beat up by archers and guards? Or knock at the front door? I turned black...but I'm afraid I drained too much power earlier on and couldn't change. I knocked at the front door...it was a drawbridge with a knocker. I knocked.
I waited nearly five minutes when someone opened the bridge. It lifted straight up. Then a second gate, one that looked like a fence went up. It was incredibly dark...I couldn't see anything...then the moon showed itself and I could see almost clearly. Guards, some archers, and a horseman. "Hello?" The horseman came forth and spoke. "What is it?" "Something landed here, that whole crowd by the shore is after it, I was curious of what it was and how it could have gotten here." I noticed they were all humans. The horseman spoke again. "It is a gem, we do not know why it has landed here, possibly seeking protection. Our wizard is studying it. He's four hundred years old in two months!" The only way I was getting by was flattery or sweet talking. Or I could just leech all the info I needed.
"Just by any chance, has this gem appeared in a prophecy?" The knight shrugged. "Not of which I knoweth of. But our wizard did predict its arrival and we cleared the house which it would land on so no one would get harmed." "Are you associated with the wizard? I'd like to look at this gem, even from a distance." "Yes I am associated with the wizard, I'm his great-great-great-great grand son, some of his immortality has rubbed off on me. I'll have to ask my father if he will se you." The part of where he's the great great descendant of the wizard was a clear lie to make himself look better. The wizard I had seen once was old and hurt everywhere while this figure even in armor was still young. A fifty year gap in age, an eighty year gap in looks. Anyways, he went up to see the wizard. I sat down, with all the guards watching me. Some daring others to come closer, clearly they hadn't seen a yoshi in years.
