"sounds like a plan! let me get all my stuff first." Tycho picked up a pair of shoes, they looked just like his own, except that they both had a forward facing orange arrow on each side, He tossed his old pair behind the counter and put the new pair on, "nice" the last item was odd though, a series of metal blade like objects, but they were stubbier than knives and not as sharp, and instead of a handle, a pit in the center. Tycho ran his finger around the pit, "Hey Blood, look at these, what do you think goes in this?"

Blood took a look at the spike-type gadget... " Hmmm..." He took the spikes, and turned Tycho around. Fitting them over Tycho's orange spikes. "Maybe that's what they're for... They look pretty cool. How do they feel?"

[boomiester]

Tycho reached behind his head and tapped one of them, "well, they might take some getting used to...hmm" Tycho looked at his reflection in the polished counter top , "pretty cool, but...I still don't know what the gloves are for."

Drago chuckled a little, fiddling with his third gadget, which was in the form of a stylish spiked collar, "Well, I got a dud gadget too, I've no idea what this does, other than look cool.." he flicked one of the spikes, obviously quite annoyed that Blood seemed to get the best stuff, he accidently knocked the empty box off, and jumped at th loud clatter, then just stood there blinking, "I'm still a dragon... I didn't change? Maybe that's what this thing does..." he focused himself, and instantly, blam, he was human again, "Oh! It speeds it up, too... I like this!!" he changed back into the dragon, and picked the box up, dropping it on the counter, "Maybe those gloves are like, anything-proof or something, Tycho..."

I signed my papers before Joe left. "Hm..." Tycho, Drago, and the red one went up in the elevator. <I think the red one's name is Blood.> Champ said. <Want to try the elevator, too? Or should we wait for Joe?> "I think we should wait, in case we get in trouble..." <Good point... let's go!> Champ jumped off my lap and made a dash for the elevator. "Champ!" I got out of my seat and followed him. He pressed a button on the elevator. I leapt in and grabbed him just as the doors closed.

[Enrique]

I meandered out into the lobby with Ishathod still on my head. I saw Yoshee make a mad dash after Champ toward the elevator. 'So what should we do, Enrique?' "I don't know... probably not do the elevator thing like everyone else. You never know what could happen..."

[Lord of the Dance]

I stood up as the elevator started moving. "Um... Champ, what did you do?" We were going up at a steady pace. <I pressed that one.> He pointed. I saw the word "Training" on the button.

[Enrique]

'Oh, come on! Let's go in the elevator!' "Ishathod, we're gonna get in trouble!" 'No we're not!' "Okay, whatever..." I pressed the up button on the elevator call button area-thingy. "If we get in trouble, it's your fault..."

[charzhii]

"Erf." Char leaned backward, looking up at the ceiling as he mulled about in a chair. "Where did everyone else go?" he watched Enrique practically get dragged along by Ishathod. "Hey...?" Charshi sprang to his feet a little clumsily, trotting after him. "Wait up! Don't leave me here all by myself!" He dove into the elevator just as Enrique closed up the machine.

[Enrique]

I held the door open for Charshi. "Hey there, Char! Where do you think we should go?"

Seishin and Kasei, having walked out after everyone, were now just walking into the Gadget room from an alternate elevator. Coming out on the far left side of the room, Kasei was immediatly on edge. Seishin, however, was very calm, almost interested at all these gadgets. Seishin and kasei, now by the countertop whicch held their names, stared out at the items in awe.

Seishin found that there were four items for the two of them. A pair of glasses, a collar-like.. thing, a pair of gauntlets, and a staff were there. For Kasei, there were a pair of pure pink goggles, a pair of gauntlets, and another collar, a staff was there as well, albeit different than Seishin's.

Studying the pair of glasses, Seishin wondered what use they could be. The eye pieces were the size of her eyes, and they seemed tailored to fit her judging by the fact that the piece that held the two eye pieces together fit her nose perfectly. But what was to say they'd stay on? Besides what was already mentioned, there was nothing ele to hold them up on her nose. Picking up the glasses, Seishin put them on. Immediately, Seishin could see the energy of everything, where one was hurting, weak points, power points, air currents, elemental energies, everything. She cycled through all of the energy scopes before coming to rest on a 'normal' mode. Now, for the final test, Seishin violently jerked her head to the right. The glasses stayed on as if her head had never moved.

Kasei, now fingering the goggles, stared at them in awe to see that now finger prints were left on them. Placing the goggles over her eyes, they were a perfect fit. Immediatly, as Kasei thought of it, statistics began to appear over whatever she was looking at. She stared down at her goggles and wanted to know what they did. Immediately, the words, 'Gauntlets of the Western Dragon. Contains the essence of a great dragon. Used to enhance magic, attack, and elemental prowess.'. Now scanning the other items, she foudn that no entry came up on the odd collar like devices in front of her.

"... These are awesome." murmured Seishin. Kasei nodded in agreement.

Blood opened the elevator door, walked in and pressed the 'Training' button. Holding the door open for Tycho. "I sure hope that the Mixed Worlds training facility is as I pictured it..." The doors closed, and the elevator started up to the next floor.

[charzhii]

"No clue! Ohhh. Hey! Whazzis?" He pressed the 'Training' button, and the elevator started with a jerk, rising up. Char flexed his tail in anticipation. "I wonder how they train." His cap was almost falling off his head, but he kept it on, somehow. He began to play with a strange bracelet he had found, poking it experimentally. Slipping it on, he grinned at Enrique. "I think it just looks cool." Again, he began to bounce on his heels.

[Not-Garr]

Drago let out a surprised yell and dove into the elevator just as it closed, "H-hey! What's the big idea, leavin' me behind too? I wanna check out that Training-area-thing too, y'know." he gave Blood a joking glare, and stepped to the opposite side, examining the walls intensly, it would seem, when he was just daydreaming, again.

[Wildfire the Dragon]

Back near the entrance, Rob was busy playing his Red Gameboy SP, while I was writing. Rob looks and was a little confused

"What are you writing?"
"Writing the invention's descriptions."
"Can I see it?"

I handed it to him. It says:

1. Speed Devices
Attaches to shoes. Increases Speed 3 times normal speed. Control can be easy, but curving can be tough.
2. Hover Devices
Attaches to sole of shoes. Increases Speed by 5 times normal speed. Control is tough but easy to curve.
3. Wing Devices
Attaches to shoes. Increases Jumping ability by 3 times normal height.
4. Holo-Watch
Allows others to communicate using a Hologram on a watch.
5. Laser Gloves
Shot Plasma, Fire, Water, Lightning, in a form of a laser.
6. Sensor Sunglasses
Allows Person to see in Nightvision and Heat.

"Sounds cool."
"Thanks, and how it's going in that game?"
"Trying to make him evolve into Charizard, just a few more levels."
"Good. Hey, noticed almost everyone is gone?"
"Yeah, let's go."

We both went to the elevator and press the button to the gadgets.

The elevator doors opened. Revealing a rather bland room, inside there were punching bags, a firing range, a few treadmills, weights, and other training devices. The thing that caught Blood's eye, was a thick steel hatch in the back of the room. "Huh, I wonder where those lead..."

The elevator doors opened to the training facility, it looked like a regular gym, nothing too special here, suddenly Blood started walking towards something in the back of the room. "Hey Blood, where are you going?" Tycho started to follow.

both of the slipping on their respective gauntlets, Kasei stared at hers in awe while Seishin stared at hers with admiration for the creator. Seishin's pair resembled a white opalescent four toed dragon's foot. Kasei's, meanwhile, was what looked like red opalescent dragon's feet. Flexing her claws, Seishin sighed and looked around the room. Nearly everyone was gone.

Putting on a collar/necklace thing that resembled an opalescent eastern dragon, Kasei putting on one that looked like a pink opalescent western dragon, they both picked up their respective staffs and headed for the elevator. Kasei, looking down at her staff, found it had a crystal on top of it in the shape of a lightning bolt. The whole thing was a yellow iridescent. Seishin's was a clear iridescent.

Boarding the same obscure elevator that they had used to come up there, Seishin switched the scope of her goggles to cover energy only. Seeing that everyone was on the traning floor, Seishin wondered why.

"Training room. I don't get it why there's such a thing as training rooms; there'e nothing like actually going out and fighting real living beings. Sparring seems practical, though..." said Seishin, the last part an afterthought. Kasei just stood there, not really having a comment.

Blood only tossed a few short punches at the bag, he wasn't really in the mood for training anyway. "It doesn't really look like there's a lot in here Tycho, why don't we check out another floor?" Nothing seemed to interest Blood too much, except for the steel hatch in the back. He walked back to the elevator to see Kasei and Seishin standing in his way. "Erm.. excuse me." Blood said politley as he slipped past the two, into the elevator. " C'mon Tycho!" Blood noticed another floor button reading 'Business' "I'll bet Jones is on that floor. Let's go see if he's done with his preparations."

Tycho followed Blood into the elevator, "ok, but if Jones was done, wouldn't come looking for us first? if you still want to go to the business area, I'm fine with it though, but some of the stuff in here looks more interesting."
