Champ almost fell out of my saddle. I laughed and kept jogging. "Making wierd faces at innocent people again?" I asked Tycho. "He has a habit of making faces when he's bored."

Seishin, doing as instructed, immediatly felt relived with the less work she had to put into flying. She grinned widely as she flew on. They had, by now porbably covered two miles, what with flight speed being so much faster than walking/running.
"Thanks; I don't know the air currents too well. Kasei does, though." said Seishin, wondering what KAsei was thinking right now. Since a few minutes ago, she had blocked off her thought from reaching Seishin. 'Must be angry...' thought Seishin. But that downer of a thought was soon forgotten as she enjoyed the joy of flying, something she hadn't needed to do for the past few months.
Kasei was still walking in a tense silence. She didn't know what to say; it was evident about what Blood was feeling for her. Kasei, while baffled, didn't think she deserved his affection. She was beginning to wonder if she should willingly accept it or turn away. She sighed deeply and reopened the connection with Seishin.
'Look out for a clearing, that's where we're supposed to be heading for judging from the snippets of conversation I've been hearing behind us'. Seishin was quite puzzled by the 'us part. 'This guy... Blood... He's clearly having a crush on me. And I don't know why.' thought Kasei into Seishin's mind. Seishin nearly dropped from the skies in shock that the mindlink had been opened again. Her eyes became vague as she listened to Kasei.
'You sure? Anyway, could be you 'brilliant colors'.' replied Seishin dryly. Kasei grunted in her mind as the emotion of irritation was felt. The mind link was closed again. Seishin had to supress a frown. Kasei was clearly shocked by this turn of events. Sighing, Seishin began to turn her thoughts back onto the flight and back onto Drago. Seeing a clearing vaguely in the distance, Seishin grinned.
"We're almost there!" she proclaimed happily. Seishin was happy, she couldn't feel the energy of anyone anywhere close to them. Flight truly did cover distance fast... They, perhaps, had a mile to go.

Blood looked down at the ground. He wanted to start some sort of conversation, and he knew that he could do it without getting nervous, but what was there to say? Blood removed his cap from his head and fiddled with it. A sure sign of nervousness and insecurity for him.
Holding his cap in his hand. He looked around at the forest that was thickening with each step. At least, she can't read my mind... Blood thought. He slipped his cap back on, and confidently turned to Kasei. "Is something troubling you? You're dead silent."

Drago grinned as well, nodding, "Okay!" he yelled, enjoying the flight as he always did, and enjoying her prescense... He began to wonder if she felt the same way towards him...she seemed to, from that look in her eyes, but he could never be sure, not with all the pity dances, valentines, gifts he'd gotten in the past... No, she wouldn't, she had to be different from the others.

"Eh? Nothing's really troubling me. Just a bit confused about something." said Kasei truthfully, it wasn't troubling her, it was slightly bothering her and baffling her. She mentally shrugged and continued on, marvelling at the beauty of the forest. She stopped asking herself questions about Blood, and merely began to go with the flow, no longer caring too much. She didn't like asking herself cosntant questions of doign constant thinking. She'd say something to Blood rigth about now if she actually had anything to say...
The clearing now below her, Seishin began to glide down, not quite going as fast as she could, for she didn't want to leave Drago behind. With a flutter of wings and the shedding of a feather or two, she was on the ground. She smiled up at Drago and waved at him.
"That was fun!" said Seishin with exuberance. She hadn't been this happy before in a very long time, and she knew it wasn't just from the thrill of flying... She tapped her foot on the healthy and soft grass below her feet. Seishin was qutie enjoying the scenery of the meadow. Various different kinds of wildflowers grew in it along with healthy and green grass.

Drago landed alongside of her with a quiet sweep of the air across his scales, he smiled happily, looking about the meadow, he had always enjoyed the color green, maybe because it was the color dragon he always became, he knelt down, carefully plucking a wildflower, and handing it to Seishin, smiling, "It's the same color you are... Just not as wonderfully iridescant." his eyes sparkled happily, he just enjoyed being around her...

OOC: GOOD LORD! Youn guys are way ahead of me! I'll try to catch up.
Meanwhile at Tycon's house, I was waiting for Rob to catch up. He came running back with our swords.
"What took ya?" I asked.
"Certain stuff..."
"Oh, we have to catch up, they're ahead of us," I explained.
"OK."
He grabbed my arm and ran really fast, pulling me. He's pretty fast, actually really fast. We were close, I saw someone. Rob stopped, digging his shoes into the dirt.
"Hi, sorry we're so late. Huh? who are you guys?"

After thinking for a short time, Blood shrugged off what Kasei had said and continued walking through the woods. Blood sighed happily. "Y'know, in all my time living in that quaint little village. Very few days did I take the time to come out to this forest, and what a shame. Those days were so memorable, climbing trees with Tycho. Sniffing every last flower in these woods, there was even a little lake somewhere around here we used to swim in... It's truly beautiful isn't it?" Blood smiled brightly, taking a deep breath and savoring the fresh forest air.

Xenophon immediatly did an about face, kneeling on the ground and raising his lasgun at the creature who shouted from behind him.
"Don't come any closer." He glanced at his current group. "They may be agents of Chaos. You know them?"

ICzorz - "... Why thank you." said Seishin, the euphoria beginning to wear off. She wondered why this draconic being would want to try and flatter her when she was clearly liking him. Was he that insecure? Seishin decided to not pass judgement quite yet, only by the mercy of her kinder and forgiving side. Trying to contact Kasei, Seishin found no luck as she kept hearing only her own thoughts.
'... Dammit!' she thought as she finally felt the prescence of Kasei in her mind. Kasei muttered something that Seishin couldn't discern. 'Anyway, this Drago guy, he seems a bit insecure about himself. Are you having any luck with the.. Um.. What was his name again?' inquired Seishin.
'It's Blood. And not really, he seems charming enough, but rather insecure about saying anything himself.' replied Kasei. Seishin sighed as her eyes became more focussed. She looked about the meadow before remembering Drago. Better confront him outfront...
"Drago, I do like you; we have a lot in common. But flattery doesn't always work." said Seishin, mentally making a note to herself to never accept flattery like that. "But, if you're just nervous I won't accept you, you shouldn't be." replied Seishin. She was still willing to give him another chance before just discarding him as a friend.

Kasei was now listening to what Blood had to say. Although she didn't know too much, he seemed to cherish memories, something Kasei herself cherished. Still walking along in silence after he finished, Kasei just had nothing to say.
"I have nothing to say but this; I cherish memories..." she said simply. She was feeling a bit numb. She didn't deserve this. But she didn't want to run away, she couldn't. She didn't want to re-awake that awful habit of running away from her fears time after time...

Tycho turned arround and saw Jay and someone else comming from behind, "heh, I wonder if Xeno will really attack them... GASP! Look! that Yoshi has the 9 pointed star of chaos on him!"

Drago's face fell a bit, and he nodded, looking away, a bit embarassed, "Ah, I'm sorry... I just, well, I've gotten so many pity gifts... It's hard to tell when someone likes me or is just pitying me." he sighed, sitting down on a stump, beginning to return to his human self, his emotions causing the change, "..I didn't mean to make you angry or anything." ~Damn! I blew it... Now she's going to think I'm some sort of loser dork! Damn! Damn! Damn! It's middle-school all over again...~

He continued to shoot at the creature despite it's protests of pain. "For the Emperor!" Emptying the remaining 18 charges at it.
