The night was coming; the light was fading. Time to find shelter before it gets too dark. "Come on, Ishathod; let's go find a place to crash for the night." 'Okay.' And so off we went...

The Next Evening
<Hey, now that we're all rested and stuff, let's find where that light was coming from!> Champ suggested. "Yeah, that sounds like a fine idea. C'mon, Charon. You coming too, Enrique?"

Aw, let this RP die, no one is playing anymore.

OOC: I'll still play...
"Sure! I'm coming!" With Ishathod still on my head, I followed Yoshee, Champ, and Charon toward the light.

Well, if you want we can keep it going. If we had more people it would be less...dead. But hey, if only two people want to play, it isn't dead yet.
NIGHT STILL COMES TOMMORROW.

"How about tomorrow, Champ? It's dark now." <Fine. The sooner we get there, the sooner I can know what's over there, though.> I laid back against a wall.

"Where shall we set up camp?" I looked around; I didn't find any cave or anything like that... Not even a small hole...

<Make a hut?> Charon suggested. "In the middle of the night?" <Grrr...>
"Hmm... can we sleep up in a tree?" I wondered, eyeing a "net" of branches above. It might make an okay bed with a few leaves.

"I don't care. That works. What do you think?" 'Okay...' So we're going to be sleeping in a tree... Hopefully a hurricane doesn't come...

I pulled myself up the tree, sitting in the "net" comfortably. "Yup, it needs some bedding." Champ and Charon grabbed some large leaves on their way up.

I started climbing the tree. "Hey, is there any room for me up there?" After I asked that, I saw a different "net" than the one she's in. "Never mind." I climbed up there.

"Yeah, but there's another one over there." Oh, he had already found it. "G'night, I guess, then." I rolled over.

"Good night." I laid down in the net, found a comfortable spot, and fell asleep.

(Since you're all sleeping, we'll start the night sequence now...)
The laugh came once more, a brutal cold once again coming upon the land, freezing everything in its path, a large wave of things growing icicless even. A brutal snow came down, mostly hail though, raining on all those who refused to seek shelter. A bird was madly dashing for its tree, aiming for the hole in it, the snow pilling up behind it, beating its wings madly. It gives one last flap, closes its wings, and dives into its hole, seconds after growing icicles. The next day...
...It would be a snow day...

The next morning, I woke up with the dawn; the ground was covered in snow. The entire landscape was frozen. I thought I might freeze to death, but I didn't. Ishathod was shaking, even though he was stil asleep. I looked down at Yoshee and the Chaos; they were shivering as well. The wind blew, harder and harder by the minute; all the while, it seemed to get colder as each minute pasted. I looked up at the sky; all I could see were light gray clouds, snow falling gently from them. I started rubbing my hands against my arms to result in heat; yet, that wouldn't be enough to negate the cold...

<Are you okay, Yoshee?> Charon asked me. He didn't look too cold; he was covered in fur and he was a Dark type. Champ was technically not alive, so he couldn't feel it much either. "N-nah, I-I'm f-f-fine." I stammered in the cold, my breath coming out in fog. I kicked my legs to keep moving; Time to get out of this tree.

(Ooo, good idea. Wonder what fruit might have survived for breakfast? Just a thought...also, a special snow fruit grows on this island, a type of cold honeydew melon...)

I crawled out of the tree and fell face-first into the snow. I wasn't really hurt; there was plenty of snow for cushioning. Ishathod just slid down the tree. Dang, I'm getting hungry... I haven't eaten much in a while...

"Geronimo!" I cannonballed out of the tree, landing hard in the snow. <Well, that's one way to get down...> Charon peeked over the edge, then fluttered down beside me. Champ shimmied down the trunk. "I'm pretty hungry. What is there to eat, besides panther meat?"
