"Okay. No problem. Anything else I can do?" I started my way back to the academy.

I opened my eyes I have over slept...
Then I felt it. It was a wave of darkness, i stumbled my 4 legs trembled and crashed to the ground.
I could feel it... the forested was being...tainted. The pain lasted a few minutes and then it subsided. I stood back up and stoomped my hooves.
Some one has brought dark magic here...i must find the source of it and destroy it.
I could feel the source of the magic, like a compass in my mind, the magic guided me to it's source. I lept of my powerfull legs and spread my wings, shooting up into the air. In a fiery rage I roared (with my dragon head). It was a roar so loud, it made the earth tremble below.

"Alright, got it Jay, but don't get me any weapons, I fight with magic. I can provide some potions I know of, but I only learned so many. I'll do what I can though." I walked back to the academy, just as I was getting tired near 7PM. I was that early a person. I flopped in bed, to think I changed dragon class to dark class, I would start tomorrow instead of taking the class today.
TOMMORROW (ironic huh?)
I woke up at 5AM, seeing Moshi still in bed...as usual.
As I walked out, I saw another letter on the floor, from the academy addressed to me in my real name again. I hope no one ever caught my real one. It just gave me too many memories. I was shocked on the note though it said,
"Dear (insert my real name here),
You have been transferred to room 101-125 to my dark room in room 1. You have missed a series of training lessons which you need to be caught up on, see you at 6AM TODAY.
Sincerely, Sir Grey,"
I headed over to the dark room...number one. I opened the door and it was 5:30AM. The teacher was there though, meditating in a beam of light at the center of an endless room. I closed the door and knocked on it instead, heard a 'come in' and opened it, to find the regular shape of a classroom, no light, no infinite beyond. He greeted me and begged of me to sit down at a desk. I expected some big black ball of energy to hit me, but nothing happened as I sat on a cushion on the floor crosslegged. He rose from his desk. "That's the first time someone gets up early enough to go to a class they've had short notice on. Most people wake up at least at 8 and miss the letter, I guess you're and early bird." he said in a deep voice. He told me to stand up. "I see you've been taking light class, the exact opposite of dark. Just remember, dark or light defines little, knowledge is more. I'm sure you were taught the light teleporting and the light dart by now?" I nodded my head. "Well here you may learn dark teleporting and anti-light darts."
"First the dart," the cushion disappeared and the door could not be seen, nor could anything else. "Use the same movement as light, the exact same, but in a shadowy place. Depending on how you mean it, it will do anywhere from making someone slap another, or will cause pure hatred between each other. Unlike light, you have a choice if you wish to take it off at any time." This was interesting. He threw darts at me, which hit me full, but I did not dare move. He was right, I felt a little mad at him, but it slipped away slowly. "Shall I try, mister Grey?" I said back to him. He nodded. I got in the position of the light dart, and focused on it, trying to make it weak. The result was indeed, weak. A gray blob formed in the air and hit him, splashing off him. I was a little rusty. "Try harder, don't worry about me," he said. I got in position, and really meant it this time. I launched the darts and another blob appeared, a bit darker, but still inneffective. I looked around for an excuse, and Mr. Grey said, "It's not working because you're standing in light," Well that was obvious...how'd I miss that?
I stepped out of the light and this time threw another meaningful flurry of darts, but this time, deadly purple and black needles appeared from the second part of the dart motion and thousands seemed to appear, all hitting him fully and square. Slowly though, I relieved myself and black ooze flowed out of him. "Good, and now a combination between light and dark, please stand anywhere, this does not matter the light." I remained on the spot. "Now, summon dark needles, but as you finish the original motion, let your arms cut through the air as you bring them back down, like this, and release light, or vice versa." He faced another directions and summoned dark needles racing towards the darkness, only visible by their purplish electric shape. As he finished the first motion, he effectively brought his arms back down after taking another step and a series of light needles came, joining the dark needles. They hit a wall I hadn't seen in the dark and stung, the dark needles sticking to the wall and the light ones going through it. He gave me the heads up to try, and I positioned, both hands back. In one motion, a flurry of black, purple darts came up and in another motion from over my head, a series of light darts came and joined the others, still aiming a wall. The wall was directly hit, the black darts stuck to it while the light ones went through. Grey spoke out, "To use on both enemies and friends, depending how you varry it. Anyone hit with more light than dark, will have there sould taken out, be able to walk through walls, and summon their bodies at any location their soul is at. Hitting with more dark than light, will send the soul out, but destroy the body, leaving the soul to wander forever until that same caster sends another certain light spell to revive the body. Also, a soul may be obliterated by another dark spell, but the dark forces are not all evil no matter the rumors, and the soul will be put to rest, in heaven...or torture. I have no more time though, but the dark teleport is the same as your light teleport and light invisibility, except light was supposed to make you invisible and dark is supposed to teleport, though they can be used for other...interesting effects."
I left this morning session and found the door. The day went as follows:
9AM to 11AM, light class. Same old, except we learned to life speak, a spell which can allow you to talk to anyone else, wherever they might be. Interesting.
12N to 2PM, Fire class. After a lunch of bananas and honeydew melon (I was in the mood) we learned further about creating fire from nothing. I was starting to master this, and so was my other friend I had found, shame though I couldn't mess around with the time travel man. Just for fun and because it became easier, I made an army of sparks, and they wizzed around me. The teacher explained that I was making sparks, because that's what fire started from. But any fire related attack goes through any quantity of lightning...or so she showed me as I tried to block with them. They got obliteratted and my stomach had a burn mark. The teacher also taught 'fire recovery', where by using a motion of sorts and then launching a quantity of fire, my burn was gone, and I made a larger fireball. She explained to the class that however you've been burned, that heat will be added on to your next fireball, although not recommended for it is still painful.
4PM to 6PM, Dark class. Oddly enough, Grey taught us darkspeak, which allowed to talk to dead people and souls. I looked around where everyone was, and suprised to find a yoshi with odd eyes...they appeared odd anyways. I snapped back to attention as we learned the deathspeak, and it was tried out. Mister Grey let a zombie loose, and I was chosen to convince it to stop. "BRAIIINNSSSSS..." It would wisper into my head. "You want what?" I would reply to it, moving my hands in a way I didn't control, no one else seemed to hear me. "BRAAIIIINNSSS" best response I could get. "Why do you want BRAAIIINNSSSS??" The zombie seemed to think, "I'm missing mine..." he said, somewhat embarrassed. "Well, that's true. No brain eating will get you any smarter, you should try school." The zombie sat down, "I used to go to schooool, I was at a little elementary schoool where I learned languuaage and maaath, but that was a hundred years ago, and I was ravaged by people who attacked this villaaage when I was sixteeeen..." To this, I became curious. "Attacked? By who?" He responded, seemingly happy he could discuss, "Oh they were horrible, their faces blank, there intentions filthy, and I fought them along with many others. I was turned into a zombie by a combination of a light and dark spelllll, my body not destroyed, but cursed as I found it again. As an undead, I tried to fight them, but fire...OOOOHH the fire!" I looked at the zombie blankly, I forgot zombies hated fire. "And light...I couldn't feel myself anymore as I was pierced by thousands of needles. The students around me were curious, and moved their hands, now understanding what we were saying, and that's when I ended the conversation. "Thank you for your time...I didn't catch your name?" The zombie replied thoughtfully, "I-I'm not entirely sure, it has been too long. I'm sure it started with a G...or was it a B? They all sound the same, it started with a letter ending in ee..." The zombie got up, forgetting it wanted brains, and went back to the teacher who made him vanish. I stood there open eyed, I think I caught on to this dark stuff very well...
After school, dunno when: I had to get potions ready, but I took no potions class! I mixed ingredients I randomly found in containers and enchanting them with random spells I learned, inserting sometimes light and dark needles, most of the time, everything inside caught fire, disappeared, started moving around (that one I kept), or turning into a liquid, which I'd feed to a plant outside. One drop of a green potion on a plant made it sprout, soon I realized it also landed on a mouse who had now become a sickly green color. I labeled the potion: plant helper, do not use on people. One potion though, turned out great. I inserted a dark needle, mixed with a porcupine quill (I tried a feather before, but it made one of those fired up potions), and one freshly plucked dragon scale (ow) with a little bit of rosemary I happened to find in a scented bag, complimentray to make the room fresh. A black liquid was produced, and used on a nearby and gave it black wings. I found that the effects only lasted a short time, but the and I sware was taking a book with it... Another time I tried the same with a light dart (ow my scales) and tried a drop on an ant after making a blue liquid. No effect...strange. I tried it on a plant and it uprooted itself and went to find another plant of its species. I tried it on the rat I tried the green potion on, and it stopped being green. In fact, it seemed to have become more chipper. I labeled it life potion.
One of my more interesting potions though, was using my little pink trap bubble trapping an ounce of my firebreath, a drop of sweat (my accident), and some melon, with added bees gut (don't ask, I still have the mark, and the first few times, I used the wax, but it's all in the gut) made a red potion, which seemed to have no effect until I uncorked the bottle where a column of flame errupted. I labeled it: Crispy.
With the Plant helped, light scale, dark scale, and crispy potions in the drawer storred in old jelly jars and maybe a vial for crispy, I went into the hallway just to see what was going on.

I could hear much better nowadays; I couldn't hardly see at all. I was sure I heard Teo's voice in that class. Maybe he was the one who first talked to the zombie? I didn't think highly of talking to dead people, but I could listen easily. I heard the entire conversation. At least I wasn't bumping into things as much, what with getting used to the locations and everything. Also, I didn't hear much from my invisible helper... maybe... well, just maybe...
Back to describing my day...
Wind class, we got more homework again. Maybe I should ask Enrique to help me with it...
Light class, yawn. Talking to anyone, anywhere? A useful skill, too bad I couldn't see the motions she was making.
Dark class, somehow I could hear that zombie even without the odd blurs of color that signified the teacher's motions. I wondered why.
After Classes...
"Hey, Enrique!" I called. I could hear his voice down the hall. "Could you help me out a bit with that essay?" I accidentally forgot where his voice had come from and ran past him, into the door. "Oops! Sorry..."

As I walked past, I heard two familiar names. "Hey Enrique!" and "Hi Yoshee!" I tracked them down, and yes, I did find Enrique and Yoshi...at least I think. I came close and took a sniff, it was them alright. "Uhm, hey there you two," I said in a casual voice.

Wednesday
Same old, same old. More homework in Wind... I'm already 3 weeks ahead of the normal curriculum in Water... I'm 1 week ahead of the normal curriculum in Ice... School's becoming a routine.
After Classes, Wednesday
I heard Yoshee calling for me, then she ran straight into a door. "Are you okay, Yoshee?" She looked fine; I got her oriented in a way so she could see me. Speaking of seeing, she's running into everything in sight. I wonder if she having trouble with her vision. "Sure I can help you!" That essay was easy; I got it done very quickly, mainly due to that it was my only homework. "But first, I have to tell you something very important. Come over to my room, number 14." I started my way toward my room. Yay, someone else in my room other than the cleaning staff for the first time since Friday...

After Yoshee came into my room, I shut and locked the door. "Here's the deal. In a matter of days, maybe even tomorrow, we're going to be attacked. I don't know exactly when or what is attacking, but Jay told me yesterday that we are in danger."
