Lazoshi stands on the balcony overlooking the square of Neuropa's capital, gaze moving across the mass of citizens -mostly yoshies who had moved to be able to build a future based in reason- and took a deep breath before beginning his announcement for unification.

"Citizens of Neuropa, there are those who wish to put an end to our way of life, who spit in the face of everything we stand for.

On one side there are those who are stuck in the past, so set in their ancient ways that they shun anything new or innovative. They reject thought for instinct, something we set ourselves up to avoid. They are outdated and only serve to slow down the necessary progress of change. To advance our cause, they must be removed.

On another side are those who live by the most chaotic force, emotion. They cannot be reasoned with and seek to break down everything we wish to build. Left unchecked, they will only cause us pain in the future and must be eleminated before they run amok.

It is our duty to improve the world. To do this we must understand our world and do whatever it takes to maximize its potential, even if it means getting rid of those who stand in our way. Soar to Heaven, and Pierce the Earth!"

His speech finished, he quietly recedes away from the balcony into the keep amid the cheers from the square, forces already on the move.

H.A.X-Zero stands in front of of a large monitor, the image reflecting on his his eyes. A map of the continent, divided into numbered zones, icons for different kingdoms filling some of them. "Sir! Bowser's troops are advancing toward us." H.A.X-Zero glances at the speaker and then at the screen again; "I am quite aware of this, and I've decided it would be foolish to proceed with the original plan to attack Bowser's territories...now then, attack zone 9, it should be an easy victory for us."

Gerhardt stood in the small town he himself formed from the shattered remains of his family's fortune, among those who believed in him, and in the glory of the elves as they were before certain unfortunate things occurred. Armed with the best weapons the remainder of his fortune could buy, he had been building his small army as he waited, lying in wait next to Hyrule, keeping his peace. "It is time to show this continent our true strength, we will unite it, wether in force, or in peace!! And restore the glory and honor that used to be ours, instead of being treated like inferior beings!! Come! We will show this world, and through it, all the others, that we are NOT simple trifles to laugh at!!" his small army cheered in reaction to his short speech, and he turned, cape whipping, and beckoned to his tactician....

The tactician nodded, and darted off into the trees, lithe as any elf, to round up the troops and supplies, and send them out.

"My Lord!" someone called from the door to the ruler's room.

"Geez I hate that title... Come in," the ruler of Alressor YW stated. It was daybreak, and he was standing at the window of his chambers to observe his region he had, and the people's daily activities. The room door slowly creaked open, the hinges needing to be oiled some more, as a small messenger entered.

"My Lord, I--" he was quickly cut off.

"Please.. just call me YW."

"Al-Alright... YW... sir..." YW sighed a little. "Yes.. umm, it's time for you inaugural speech sir."

"Was it that time already? Everything's happening so quickly." YW nodded and smiles at the messenger, sending him away. He had not long ago risen to this status of Ruler of his Alressor Kingdom offically, now it was time for him to really become the first ruler of Alressor by doing his first act as one, and he had to admit that he didn't really enjoy it for now. Being one of the common folks, only wanting to aid the people who were suffering and make a difference, he quickly became a figure in his native region which had no ruler. As time went on, people started to follow him, commoners and soldiers alike, and even though he was relunctant, he had established his small kingdom to the northwest of the Mushroom Kingdom. With war raging on in other areas, he knew full well that he too would before long get engulfed in this conflict.

He turned and looked back outside, "My people... will you too have to suffer as others are? Will I be able to keep you safe from the vile clutches of war? But.. I must fight, even though it goes against everything I stand for, to protect you people, no, to protect all the people across the land, I will fight. I don't know if I'll make it, but I'll give it my all, always." With this he quickly turned around and exited his room, heading towards the main balcony at the front of the building. As he walked there, he looked around, this place: the rooms, the halls, everything in this building was made in his honour, something he inwardly loathed and asked himself again and again if he was really worthy of all this given to him.

Arriving at the main balcony, he slowly glanced about, a lot of people had reunited to listen to his inaugural speech, commoners and army clad in full suits alike, everyone gazing up at him. He slowly let out a small breath, then spoke up.

"People of Alressor, a time has come for us to take matters into action. Even now countless other regions are suffering from war and internal strife, and I dare not let the people of the kingdom of Alressor suffer this at their turn. It's my dream someday to see this warring end, I tire of lives being lost, I tire of every being suffering from war, and I vow as Ruler and Leader of the Alressorian Army that I will do whatever I can to safeguard our region from harm, and liberate other regions from wars grasp, bringing forth a new age of peace." There was a great deal of applaud below him, and he bidded them be silent.

"This will not be an easy task, but if everyone puts some effort into it, we can succeed! We the people of Alressor shall bring forth a new age of prosperity and calm that this fine land rightfully deserves. We cannot and will not, as inhabitants of this world, let ourselves fall victim to some other kingdom's vile deeds of war, we shall fight back with all our might for what we believe in. I look down at you all now and what do I see? No, I do not see commoners and soldiers, I see individuals, people whom are equally capable of thought and action. People who can stand up to their beliefs and fight for these. I see you no less then me, I compare you all to brothers and sisters. We are all in this, and we shall all make it through if we stay unified and stick to our beliefs!" Again, the crowd roared in applause, and again he bidded them silent.

"Now, I ask of the people to carry on their daily routine and for my army to remain here for a time." Not even a few minutes after he asks of this, most of the crowd had cleared, and his small army remained. "Brave, brave soldiers of Alressor, it pains me to send you out to a war which I am trying to stop, but, through all of your valiant efforts, we can forge the way to a better place for our future generations, a world where our children and our children's children can run freely without fear of enemy attacks. Be safe, be strong, but do not throw away your lives for me. Act wisely and keep believing in what you fight for, and after we're all done here, we'll have triumphed!" The clanging sounds of swords and armor resonated as they bravely acknowledged his speech. Slowly going back to training and awaiting orders, as YW retreated from the balcony, his advisor not too far off was watching the whole scene unfolded and started walking alongside YW.

"Sire, that speech was fabulous, the people are in awe and greatly respect your views and are willing to follow you to the ends of the land if need be, and the army's morale is high, and--" he was suddenly cut off by YW.

"Please, I need none of this sire talk between old friends Masoshi, talk to me like a friend would," YW stated with a sigh.

"But, YW, things are different now, you're the ruler of Alressor now, and I have to---" Again, he was interrupted.

"--call me in the way I ask of," YW slowly smiled at his friend. "You know, in private you don't need to call me sire of lord or whatever, heck, we grew up playing together in the old orchard not far from here, we've known each other for long, and I dare not think myself superior to you.

"YW... thank you. You truely are what this land needs, you're a role model for many, and everyone seems to love your--" Once more, YW cut him off.

"True, but am I apt to lead an army to unify the land? Personally Masoshi, I have my doubts about it, and that's why you are more important to me in my eyes than myself to the people's eyes. You were always the smart one, and I need you more than ever before to co-ordinate my tactics and battle strategy."

"But.." Masoshi started, but stopped.

"No buts! I need you here and now, first of all, our neighbours."

Masoshi slowly nodded, "Yes, the Mushroom Kingdom to the southeast, they are peace-loving, caring folk, and should give us no problems at all."

YW starts thinking out loud, pacing a little, "Yes, I heard they were quite the peaceful sort, though that's not something that I worry, what worries me is the sudden appearance of the Zedekias to the south, I know nothing of them and what they could mean to our kingdom."

Masoshi spoke up, "We have little intelligence of the new Kingdom of Zedekias. Their leader appears to be named Yoshiken Draconi and from what little information we have, all we know is that he seems to have a neutral stance compared to our peaceful goals."

YW let out a small breath again, "This worries me, he could be a potential threat right off the bat ... would the Mushroom Kingdom attack us if we got too close?"

"Most certainly not if we have a large enough force, if we send only a few, they could see this as a threat to their land, and invade. At least, with a bigger force, they would be intimidat---"

"I don't want to give fear to people! I want them to understand that I'm not an enemy to them, and all I want is for peace to come."

Masoshi sighed, "YW, to make way for peace, you must prepare for war. It's unavoidable, and you'll have to let your morals down at times to succeed in ultimately reaching your goal of moral standards.

"...To the point, as always Masoshi. Fine, send a force of 3 units to the eastern region above the Mushroom Kingdom and send one food unit to follow them, that should make the Mushroom Kingdom stay at bay from us, and we from them for now, and leaving us enough troops to defend against a potential attack of the Zedekiasians." YW ordered.

"Of course, wise decisions there, I was thinking along those lines, but pray tell--"

"Yes I know, also recruit more troops today for helping in our defense."

"Yes YW.." With this, Masoshi left to carry out YW's plans.

"Alressorians, I will not let you down..."

Day 1

Enrique sits at the balcony, over the small capital of his small country, Uaseria; his palace overshadows all of the other buildings in the small capital town of Yinguredsath. On this day, Uaseria had become independent, finally, after a revolution of suffering that has failed him in the past. "Here goes nothing..." He whispered to himself.

"People of Uaseria," he called out to his following citizens and soldiers, "as you are aware, our revolution has succeeded. However, we are already very vulnerable. The nations around is are at war, and if we're not careful, they'll drag us in as soon as we're trying to rebuild our revolution-torn city.

"However, I do dream of one day, we could unite this land. We could show the world peace one day. But for now, all of the nations are in severe disagreement, and we are caught right in the middle. We must expand quickly, before our enemies dissipate us. May I all ask is that everyone stays calm during this time of war. Even the troops; nervousness by everyone will not take us very far.

"So civilians, go to your homes, carry out your everyday lives, and put faith in you country to keep you alive. As for the troops, we shall start now. Don't think you have to do it all today; a war is never won overnight. Just obey your orders, and one day, Uaseria will rule all!"

Cheers came from the crowd. All the civilians returned to their homes, and all the troops joined together in rejoice to hear from their ruler, and started a pledge amongst each other: to fight with honor, pride, and dignity, for Uaseria.

Enrique looks back into his palace. "Here we go, Enrique..."

Yoshiken stands in the outskirts of the city with one of his advisors.

"look at this land....filled with so much chaos and confusion, am I the only one that can stop it? The only thing to do now is to Unify this land and then finally peace can be insured."

Advisor: "funny how War is the only way to bring peace"

"yes, but its the only way, They have all brought this upon themselves...now! Move out!"

I stood over my newfound people, wondering what to do. A strange army seemed to be advancing, and not too far off there was Bowser's troops. I had brought together lost and scattered people in the desert of Bowser's and made a kingdom of them. Would it last?

H.A.X-Zero stood on the balcony of his tower, facing the sunset; the red rays of the sun illuminating the city below, casting long dark shadows far to the east. He lifted a pair of binoculars to the blue lenses that were his eyes. He could see troops gathering...Bowser's troops.

"Masoshi." YW beckoned.

"Yes Sire-um-YW?" he corrected himself.

"I need a walk, care to join me?"

"If you wish my prese--" he was cut off.

"Oh just come, heh." YW joked and went outside for a stroll, Masoshi walking alongside. They walked through the region's town, looking at commoners go about their busy lives, smiling at them and asking how they were, how was the family, and so forth. Eventually, the were outside of town, staring south.

"And that's why the people like you YW, you actually go out and talk to them on a friendly, equal level. They're ready to work extra hard just for you because of this. My praise could go on for quite some time still--" Masoshi was bidded to be silent.

"Zedekias to the south, went southwards, leaving the next region open. What does this mean in terms of our strategies?"

"We can only assume they don't see us as a threat and will leave us alone if we do so too." Masoshi replied.

"True, but that region would indeed help us reach our goal, but I still fear the Zedekiasians"

"Then move all your troops but one garrisonned in this region to the southern region, making it a big stronghold against a potential Zadekiasian invasion. With our other region beside the Mushroom Kingdom keeping our back safe for now, we can have no fe--"

"What if the Mushroom Kingdom decides that we are still small enough and engulf us from the rear?" YW spoke up worried.

"Then garrison more troops in that region, making the Mushroom Kingdom less inclined to attack, and make haste in the southern region, before the Zedekiasians claim it."

"Alright, I shall make notice to recruit more soldiers for both regions."

"That's not necessary. You'll be on the defensive in the southern region, it would be wiser to get the villager's help by cultivating more food and set up one troop in the northeastern region, rather then recruiting troops alone."

YW slowly nods, and gives forth his orders.

Day 2

Now that Uaseria is starting to grow, Enrique seems confident that his tiny country can survive. In his capital of Yinguredsath, he notices that his people are calm and confident in their leader, which satisfies him. "If only we could rid of these highly militaristic nations easily..." He thinks to himself; however, he soon realizes that it won't be easy. He'll still do everything in his power to keep Uaseria alive...

Yoshiken looked South, "I must have that Region! Advisor, status report!"

"well sir, we currently have an Alliance with Windrossia. Alressor has expanded and they are now in our proximity....but they seem to be a peaceful folk and wont cause any harm if we dont trouble them. Mushroom Kingdom is expanding in the east, and Neuropa in the South is building its empire up."

"Neuropa..." Yoshiken thought to himself, "They might also want region 29...Advisor!"

"Yes, my lord?" The advisory stated.

"Send someone to offer 1 troop unit and 1 food unit to Neuropa to allow us to peacefully take region 29"

"Yes, right away sir!"

"Gerhard, sir!.." his tactician, also his personal best friend, and the only spellcaster he knew, surprised him from behind.

"Please, that name is to be known by my enemies, to intimidate them, you may continue to call me by my original name.." he stated, without turning, "What is the situation?"

"The unnamed kingdom of barbarians, they seem to be challenging our soldiers on who shall take the Region marked on my map as...41."

The elf lord chuckled, and waved a hand, "I understand their leader is confidant, have the soldiers fight, if they will. I wish the least amount of bloodshed, but, such barbarians must be dealt with. Also, prepare another message for Lady Zelda. We may need her assistance if we are to rout this leaf rot." he spat, and turned, cape swirling rather fetchingly (all the ladies go "Oooooooh, he's so dreeeaaammy..." at this point), "And fetch me my sword. These are your orders.."

-Add 1 Troop unit to Region 39 (Capital city of the kingdom of Du Weldenvarden, from here on out known as Heimdall, name subject to be moved.)
-Order Troops to stand their ground, and only fight if the barbarians do. Do not persue if they retreat.
-And to be sure, add 2 more Troops to the force in Region 41.

The tactician rose, and bowed, "As you wish, your majesty." and rushed off.

Gerhardt turned, and stared out onto the growing city, which had been a mere town not too long ago, "I will not fail my people. This continent will always bear the scars of barbarity if order and peace are not restored. And the forests will weep..." he looked down, then turned, and slammed the sliding doors shut.

A yoshi looking at me,I was confused,I asked"Yes?"
"your plans of invadeing region 41,has been kinda stop since we have a vistor trying to invade too.."He told me.

"Hmm...I was a General before,and I should retreat...but I think I have a better idea....Send in 3 more troops and a food unit,and tell them to hold there postion unless the enemy attacks",Yoshi look at me for a sec. "Yes sir"
