Maybe you should have polled this  Ahhh, I think Birdo should be a good guy because she seems to be friendly with Yoshi, but also a bad guy because that was what she originally was  |

Dear lord, no! Sorry, but I really don't like Birdo ><! She annoys the bejesus out of me with her stupid voices, and she's fairly hideous looking... As for what ought to be in the next Yoshi game.... uhhh... I don't know, really, heh. I'm just content as long as Yoshi and more Yoshis are in it . |

Yes! Birdo should be there, too. Maybe a game, where you can choose, if you want to play with Yoshi or Birdo. I mean, in "Animal Crossing" are boys and girls. They could do it like that.
By the way, I think Yoshi and Birdo look kind of familiar.

I really believe Birdo should be with other Birdos, and should stay AWAY from Yoshi. And that she should get back her Mario tennis voice, so that she would stop sounding like a whopee cushion. I also would like to see Yoshi females, so that Yoshi could have a REAL girlfriend Despite the loss of my lower jaw I still enjoy a high standard of living. And I would like to see a new Yoshi game that had an emphasis on Yoshi's goodwill and pure heart. (Like in Yoshi's Island, going through all that trouble just to help baby Mario). I would also like to see a new Mario game that were based on a very detailed story that actually STUCK to the character's true abilities and personalities (no effervescent Yoshis please), and that Yoshi had a MAJOR role in it (i.e. a game where Mario has to help Yoshi's Island overcome something, which means you would see lots and lots of different Yoshis along the way, and that Yoshi would follow Mario on all his adventures there, occasionally offering Mario a ride but NOT all the time. The game would be a lot like Super Mario RPG except set on Yoshi's Island only). And lastly I would like to see a game in which Yoshis are seen together playing and/or socializing, in their own Yoshi way of course (i.e. NOT humanized). Of course, I'm not expecting any of this to ever happen... Meh, if I were a millionaire I would talk with Nintendo so that they would grant me a license to develop this game |

Soul, you've just read my mind word for word . (Birdo seriously needs to stay away from Yoshi, however. Not that I'm for segregation and all that, just relationship wise.) Anyway, yeah. What I'd want in a new Yoshi game would be Yoshis playing with each other happily and peacefully, bending over backwards to help those in need, and of course, to play the major role in a 3D platformer (Mario kind of needs to butt out now and then). I'd also imagine Yoshis playing on the beach with clear blue skies and waters, always bright and sunny, and playing games such as volleyball and Koopa shell soccer. Then having barbecues and roasted marshmallows over bondfires, laughing the nights away... Okay, this isn't sounding like a game anymore. Let me just fantasize in peace, all right? XD It'd pretty much have all the bright and beachy themes from Mario Sunshine with festivals and whatnot, but instead taking place on Yoshi's Island and with different scenarios, and Yoshi running around, of course . *Ahem* |

I really don't know about the white and purple, but it would be weird if the pink one was a dude . but I agree with teh and Soul, a really good yoshi game would include the true side of yoshi life, without the annoing intrussion of people riding on their backs all the time. |

my idea is a game where a Yoshi(you can pick the color,name, and gender) gets separated thanks to bowser,and you have to eat enemies to lay eggs and you need to fill like an egg meter to clear a stage
you eat fruits to stay health and gobble enemies up to clear a stage.
some stages their are Yoshi's that have lost or want something and need to find it ,items like seashells or a special fruit.
you can also unlock a game thing were you raise a Yoshi,the color determines the environment like red Yoshi's live in a volcano and green live in forests
there would also be bosses like in the volcano stage you would face lava piranha and you would have to shoot his weak spot with eggs you find on the platform
as for birdo,i don't like that idea,birdo is ugly and I'm not sure if she is a Yoshi either
chances are this won't happen unless like soul,i become a millionaire and license it.
it would be called: Yoshi's island 2: Yoshi's adventure. it would be 3d too.

I think they should make an adventure game all about Yoshi and yea, and like LD said, you can pick the color, and name, and gender. That'd be really awesome. I am kind of annoyed with Nintendo, because all their Yoshi games (that I know of), you only move left and right basicly. It's time for something more then that. LEVEL UP ! !

You're right a 3D Yoshi game would be top of the line awesome, though he was 3D in that Super Mario for the DS, but that doesnt cut it. Also like you said getting to choose his color, name, and gender would be lovely. So those are good ideas, also it's not impossible, I mean nothing is really impossible and theres always that chance that anything could happen. Those are some good ideas though, a true voice of fandom at that. Aye, and I never really had the chance to see Birdo in any games since I got out of the GC, but from what I've seen of her or it... I've never really liked the look, now Yoshis are cute and adorable but Birdo's are a bit, ummm unsightly. Of course that doesnt matter, though I have no idea what Birdo's intentions are. I don't think you should go on a search for fruits though, to many fruits, I do believe you should still go for them in a way. I also like the egg idea, and the fact that they should show more of a Yoshi attitude if they bring it back with the kindness. I mean heck I never really was a Yoshi fan until Joshi got me liking his character a lot, and I see many good things about Yoshi's.
I like the egg meter idea, and I like the fact you want to raise the Yoshi's. It's always fun in a game no matter what to have the chance to upgrade your character, if you could do that and give your Yoshi items, and of course stick to the roots and bloodline of the main Yoshi background, then that would be better than ever. Editing your Yoshi would be so fun, sort of like in Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space, you get to edit and make up your character. So like some have said, if you get could do that to your Yoshi, then that would be awesome.
A 3D feel to the game would be great! I mean I like the 3D games but I still love the old Mario Platformers, I think that they should stick to the platform feel while giving you a taste of 3D, like they did with Castlevania on the PS2, they made it 3D while giving it that platform feel from the old games. Something like that would be awesome. As for the rest I can't quite stay, as long as it would stick to the roots of what you Yoshi fans believe in, then I would buy a game like that.

mabye they should make an mmorpg yoshi game ^,^. yoshi and friends could use swords, and powerups like fireballs to destroy an enimy. baddies could include goobas, koopa troopas, pokeys, possibly any mario baddy.

Yes! An Internet game or somethin' that was a Yoshi RPG would rock! Also, I think they really messed up with Birdo's whoopee-cushion voice. I mean, seriously, she sounded better in the N64. Yoshi needs a friend of the samespecies, right? LD, that's a good idea. It would make an ineresting game  |
