I like fire, mainly because it can be destructive toward few of the other elements.

If only I had two votes... I love the Wind, and Light... Light is so beautiful, and it even rules over fire in its' destructive capabilities, so gentle spread out, but when focused... ...Yet it remains beautiful, and without it, our world would be impossible.
The wind... I just love the wind, the feel of it across my face, the smell, just standing in it, flowing across the world, carrying sounds, smells, scents everywhere... ...Destruction brings no happiness, boys and girls, remember that.

Chromium, followed closely by Xenon and Tungsten.

I meant as in an RPG, not atoms. If I counted as in the atomic table (or was it table of elements) then I would've chosen neon. But I guess I could've been more specific.

Molybdenum. Followed by Tungsten. Then ununhexium.
In terms of the fantasy stuff, water, even though I voted for other (molybdenum).

...I interpreted "other" as "any other."
Besides, Xenon is used in LASER beams.

Actually, these elements (water, fire, air and earth) really were called "elements of life" in ancient times, or something like that. It was not the RPGs that "recreated" them as elements. Anyway, i go with the wind, because it's just awesome.

In mythical goodness, I've always had an affinity for Ice-type things, perhaps it's a result of my love of the desolate, coldness and pure clean whitness that the snow of winter brings. Generally in RPGs, Ice not only has the effect of cold, but the effect of physical damage. Literal blocks of sharp physical matter. Also take ino account that cold temperatures enhance pain, so it seems.
For reality, Lead is so much fun. It's extremely heavy and bends under it's own weight, you can like whip people with lead bars, it's unending fun.

Personally i choose dark. I like darkness, the light annoys my eyes and fire burns, water is wet the wind blows me away and the ground hurts X.x For reality Caesium is the way forward people! Add it to water and it explodes! Frankium is even better if you can get some!

Light.
It is Holy and Good, which includes angelic beings and the gods, and i like playing the role of an angel, plus some of the best magical moves come from Light attacks. =P

Thunder, which I assume includes lightning.
I mean really, what good is a loud noise

I normally go with Wind, but Earth sounds cool right now. Getting plants to grow big and healthy enough to not be completely destroyed by fire, water only helps, and winds can only bend it. Causing earthquakes for more damage, tidal waves, forests are good for hiding in... yeah. =D

Yes, but with light you are generally bound by certain virtues and morals. At least with Darkness you can do whatever you want, hehe... at least by classical definition. One can use Dark Powers for Good purposes, but I can't seem to think of anyone using Light powers for Evil purposes. I'd not like either because each can be exploited by the other in too many ways, too.
Depends on many ways and places in which it's been used, too. Light sometimes have the powers and virtues of life, whereas sometimes it's really kinda sucky.

You'll be suprised that the enemies, such as Mithos and Ygdrassil(?), use light magic... there's a simple example of using light magic for evil purposes for ya (although many would argue there is no real "enemy" in that game, but i wouldn't let those angels change the people of the world into lifeless beings, would you? =P) There is reason in you saying that it can be a lil' sucky, but the topic isn't a debate about how good or bad a certain element is, or how people see that element, it's just a preferred choice. Light is my fave element, but in RPs, i always stick to being a multi-elemental character.

Fufilling his sister's wishes, eradicating the discrimination and all. And Dark energy really can be used for good purpose... Sheena can summon Shadow. Soma Cruz can use his ability to control monster for good.... and there goes on =P

I would definately have to say Fire.
All the other elements really don't compare to it in its destructive power; fire commands a powerful, hot force that has quite a few applications. Fire can even extinguish water. To me, fire represents passion and a desire to constantly change and become stronger to adapt and actually become better than originally thought. Fire's a pretty thing (I'd say beautiful, but that's me), as well as unpredictable, and with that I also percieve fire as more of an element of emotion, along with the constantly flickering tendencies of fire -- sort of like the flickering of emotions. Unstable, but I like it.
But I also have to add an 'other' there, Crystal. .. And I'm talked out after school. I might write something on crystal later.

Something that promotes the values you believe in is good. Something that attacks the values you believe in is evil. Usually the preservation of life is "light" and many think that's good. Fascism is also very "light" and many think that's evil.

I said I knew of some situations where Dark Powers could be used for good (Indeed, Soma Cruz coming to mind.)
But yes, that's exactly it -- whatever you beleive is right or fight for is in your mind, the good thing, the purpose to fight -- so I guess the means through which you do it is irrelevant. I like to consider it moreso the fight of "Life" and "Death" instead of "Light" and "Darkness". Like how a Necromancer could wield powers relatiing to the realm of death for good purposes.
When I was referring t omoral, though, Iwas referring I guess to a more limited sotrt of universe like D&D where the only characters who can be gtranted the ability to use holy/light powers are those of a certain good/righteous morale, whereas dark powers can be used by several types.
