I'd just live a hard life without yoshi until Poke'mon gets replaced. * Poke'mon gets replaced. Runs and kills himself*

Its ok now red.yoshi. CJ said he realizes that these topics are older, and that he didn't see the date before. He said he'd stop now bringing the old topics back now.

thats good. topics like this should be made read-only files (closed) so no one can post in them.

thats good. topics like this should be made read-only files (closed) so no one can post in them. Actually, I can't really agree with that. We can't close topics because they're old, but we just really need to encourage people to quit bumping topics that are of no importance anymore or are really dead/old, as they do get super annoying and pushes fresher topics out of the way. Topics should only be closed if they violate the rules or the maker requests it.

So now we are allowed to bump old topics?

NO!!! I think you took the message wrong. We don't want you to bump old topics, but yes, you are able to. It's just that you shouldn't. Let me go a little deeper. You probably are thinking "then why not just close it", right? As Teh said, the threads never broke a rule, and so they shouldn't be blocked suddenly. Also, I guess they aren't blocked because if you really feel you have to post your opinion, and its a thread everyone can pick back up, then you should be able to bring it back, but don't go around doing that a lot.

i get your point teh, but this is just a chatty forum were nothing of importance goes on. im not saying "dont go back, and close every single topic" plus, if the topic is of importance, why cant it be a read only file? anyway, i get that your saving the closed topic feature for only people who break the rules, but why not put it to good use?
and for now cj, i wouldnt post in anytopic that is past the third page of this catagory (yoshi's cafe)

I modified my post some more on why I think we shouldn't block all topics, but I have to agree with Red.Yoshi a little bit too. Why shouldn't we close threads like this one so they don't come back. This one there is nothing more to post to, you know.

yea. right now you were doing it continuously. please dont JUST post in the old ones. post what we have here. if that dosent suit you, go to a different catagory. if what you want to post in insnt there, go back and see if a topic that your looking for is there. if not, make a new one. For example - lets say your looking to post in a topic about oranges. there isnt any orange topics on the first page. go back into the history topics of the yoshi cafe (old ones) and, see if you can find your topic about oranges. if you cant, create a new topic about oranges. DONT JUST POST IN AN OLD TOPIC JUST BECAUSE ITS THERE! new topics that were recently made, or are a page old are fine to post in, dont get me wrong

Well, I can't truly say I disagree with creating multiple similar threads being worse than posting in old threads. But what I really want to get at is that if you're going to bump an old topic, for the love of all things creamy and delicious, please let it be really enlightening or REALLY important. I still encourage that you do NOT post in old topics just because! I really do find it annoying that all these old and dead topics are coming back up, but I guess it's better than more and more threads asking WHAT COLOR YOSHI IS YOUR FAVORITE?
CJ, you really got to check the dates next time. It's quite aggravating a lot of people. It's okay that you read topics that are old and past the page of 3 (it's not that bad since it can encourage you to not make any new similar topics), but I really advise that you should not post in them superficial or near-meaningless messages.
