Triangles, merely for a couple of reasons. It seems that Triangles are easily spotted these days in many areas; usually in the form of a right angle. This is usually due only to the fact that when a beam is placed diagonally under a building it helps hold it's weight. Therefore leaving something all the while to compile while using the effort of the shape. That, and without Triangles another portion of Geometry would be missing. Then again, it's Geometry and it's meaning to life is pretty much bleak enough as it already is. Unless of course you're wanting to be an architect, but that depends on how you see the future and what you want to take into your hands. As well, when in Geometry it's hard to forget how many strange and peculiar theorems went into the infrastructure of this shape. From means such as Angle-Side-Angle to Side-Angle-Side; to think that so many numbers could fit into one of the most average spotted shapes of our life. Sadly, it really does seem that math is power, merely due to the factor in which it has some sort of role in every material worth out there. Yet of course, at a younger age at least there is some innocence to the colors and shapes of the world around us. None of these "Geometric Means" and "Hues of the Sunlights Photosynthesis".
Stars are always going to be magnificent, merely because of the way they are shape and have no connection with their brethren in the sky. It's peculiar how that works, and how they managed to get the looks in which they hold today. Out of sincerity the two have nothing in common, the realistic version to our remake on paper. Of course, they do have their tips and of the likes; yet out of anything they are more of a circle than they are a five pointed geometric shape. The only reason they can look pointed is merely due to the glare of the light which travels through such miles. Light can be associated as an item or not depending upon opinion, therefore masking the identity of the star. That of our version can be confusing at first to make, but it also leads that question; if there is a variable exponent expression for the creation of a "Star" is it something that any child would want to live through? That's nearly four or five rhombuses overlapping at no true point of origin.
Semi Circles are more than awesome to, they leave that pondering statement as to why the other half was never drawn. Maybe the hand on the compass got tired and decided not continue. That, and can also look like a half eaten pie, oh how the imagination soars when it comes to shape. But, it seems that everything is made the way it is to complete it's natural function. This of course is dependent upon it's mass and how much it can take up volume wise. Shapes and Sizes really have a lot to do with the world we seem to live in, from how much we can hold and substain, all the way down to their simplicity in our arts and languages. Holding us together by diffrent attributes and realities, something all together interesting and all the while strange.

The triangle is cruel and heartless. Like my Pre-Algebra teacher who gave me a D. Triangles were her favorite. Therefor, I hate them. :3
The snowflake would have to be my favorite, seeing as they are formed by ice, and come in so many beautiful shapes and intricate designs. Not to mention, you would have to shrink down to their level to truly observe them, much like a living thing.
That's my annoying blurb for this board. :3[/size]

I'm surprised nobody chose the square.
Seriously, the things you can do with a square...

I wish I would have said Triangle, actually. D:
Triangles are the strongest possible geometric shape.

Crescent moon. They're not boring ol' circles and.. they look cool. AND they're my favorite shape along with rhombuses and stars.
