Actually, I depends. If I'm really thirsty, I'll go for a Pepsi because it seems to quintch my thirst more than Coke. If I'm relaxed and just want to sip down a cola, I'll go with Coke.
If I think, "Ah, what the hell," I'll go with RC. =P

pepsi is way better than coke. There can also be vanilla pepsi you know Vanilla Coke was created first if I'm correct. You know what I loved? Pepsi BlueI'm sure I'm the only one in the whole world who loved it, but I did -- and mad I didn't stack away a hundred cases of the stuff. D:

I've found Coca-cola to be an overall better drink than Pepsi. Vanilla Coke was a Grand Champion, but I don't know why they stopped producing it in favor of this "black cherry vanilla" stuff. Whereas I like Cherry itself the best... so they decided to temporarily halt both to make them into one, which fails at life! I can identify Coke and Pepsi from smells alone o.o

Heh, I actually cannot stand carbonation whatsoever. All soda tastes the same to me, unless it's sparkling water or some sort of fruit flavor. Carbonation just burns my tongue to the point I cannot taste much, and it'll hurt for a long while. I just don't like it. :
I can stand some spicy foods, but I just cannot tolerate carbonation. It kills the drink for me.
Yeah, Kool-Aid fo' lyfe!

I honestly liked Black Cherry Vanilla Coke a lot more than Vanilla Coke, so it kind of made me happy XD Granted, Cherry Coke is still better than either of them, really..
As much as I don't really want to go against what Toshi said, I think I have to choose Coke, if mostly because I've had so much contact with Coke on campus the last couple years that I got used to it..
Tho Mountain Dew will always have a special place in my heart too XD

I'm split between the two, but since I've drank more Coke than Pepsi, I pick Coke.

I hate soda. I choose neither. The carbonation hurts my tounge and throat. The caffeine is not for me.

Interesting enough it seems that Coke really wins this whole scenario; going to show that in standards the original usually stays at the top-notch. That's a statement for things there and then, as for the factors of those who don't drink it; why there is nothing wrong with that in any means. Everyone is a bit diffrent in what they do, say, and consume; be it something organic and healthy, to the utensils of what society describes as "Junk". For, there is a diffrence between the two in themselves; those who slurp down Colas are more likely to find themselves with stretched vocal cords and "groaning" sighs. While the others who find their adoration upon Teas, Kool-Aid, and Soys will be given an upper hand; both might be indiffrent, yet its always built on the consumers choice. Most of America for that matter finds themselves devulged in the means of sugar rushes, that which adds to our bodies; European countries still remain in the smaller numbers. It's hard to pin-point as to why, but considerably taken there is a large oppisite power in both palms. Public Transportation in America can be found as quite rare, though existant. Searching for buses and hefty vehicles is unlikely, while within European cities walking and taking Trans is not uncommon at the least. The two are not alike by such definitions, yet they still carry traits such as cultures and beliefs.
Pepsi and coke seem like brethrens to the core at times, something about them is the same yet not all the while. Of course, such was meant to be in their function; as played upon in their role. Stated wise, Coke did arrive in a diffrent section of time before Pepsi; many had fallen into its craze, given their dedication to the flavor. Pepsi saw the oppurtunity to grasp it, and established bridges for their own remedy. Something peculiar, yet all together not Coke at the least; or so they managed to debate. For it was sweeter, had more power, more rush; gave the average body a higher percentage of energy. Yet, even with such remarks Pepsi and Coke would always and forever be intwined with their recipe. This undergoes much contoversy though; especially within the contents: those drug like addictions implanted into the carbonation and flair. Such is usually under heat by health groups, regarding how it controls our minds. From that of McDonalds all the way to what we drink everyday of our lives.
Coke does have more solid grounds, perhaps to say than Pepsi has or ever will. For, while Coke might not have the most popular "by-products", it does keep itself alive with what it first started as. Pepsi might own Mountain Dew, a very progressing step in the fluid world; yet this does not mean they can change the tides of culture for what we have. As many of you stated, you've grown up with Coke; it's what your parents had, and even their parents had. Because of this, it just continues to go down the line. Sure, someday this might alter, and America might come to find some other love within itself, but as of now and for some ages Coke seems to really stand on top of it's game.
