well, it's been in my head for a while but I thought it'd be nice see what kind of media you prefer to use, wether it's tradtional, digital, or both! I prefer Traditional cos it's easier to use and you feel like you've done more to deserve the end result, whereas, digital is all mainly shading techniques and filters and such being used to the artists advantage thus still creating a good image but something about it, just doesn't make me feel like I've done enough to deserve this end result. Although it is alot cleaner, brighter and bolder, so I gues I could be both =\ but I think I'll stick with tradtional. what about you?

Digital, definately. Traditional media is something I just kind of "meh" at, usually. Traditional just fails at being colorful under most circumstances, and those colors are really an important part of why I like a picture. Traditional just doesn't have much to offer that digital can't do ten times better -- the only thing I can really think of are vain showing-off purposes, such as the fact that printing a picture doesn't work well but the traditional stuff is already ready to be shown to the not-online world. I also despise working with traditional; your mistakes are more permanent than you'd like, and it's just more trouble than it's worth for a lackluster result.
I really love and enjoy digital art. The different shading techniques and colors available to one and whatnot are really amazing. To me, shading is one of the things I enjoy the most in a picture -- a picture can have awesome anatomy and lines, but if the shading is flat I assure you, I will not like that picture as much. Everything is so much more perfectable in digital media, and so much smoother. Working in this style gives a sense of accomplishment in itself, and I truly believe digital media is the one with the most amazing and nice to look at pictures.
Huzzah for digital!

Given the fact that I look at art maybe seven times a decade, I enjoy digital art more than traditional art. Digital art is much more precise and manipulative than traditional art. I'd say more, but it would virtually repeat what Pawy said above.

Digital, but only because my traditional works are kinda sloppy and I have to erase lots to make a pic seem good, and the erase marks show on my scanner.

Well, I like the look of traditional, but I'm afraid if I draw it out really good, but then I make one mistake I can't fix. D: I tried, I failed, so I use the one where you can erase mistakes with a simple press of Ctrl and Z...

Since I don't have a tablet or anything that I can make my lines on digital art all pretty with, I like traditional. I don't know, digital art just isn't that fun to start. I don't like drawing the lines at all, or filling them in. But I love to sketch stuff with a pencil. I guess my hand feels more free with a pencil than with a mouse.

I perfer to do most of my art digitally, but I don't mind doing things traditionally. I used to do everything traditional before I got myself my own computer and an art program to accompany it a year ago. After that, my art changed from mostly traditional to nearly all digital. The only tradtional art that I do now is mostly in my 2D art class in school.

I love both a lot, but lately I've been doing a lot of traditional media. Digital is awesome in ways that it's free of charge to create art, but you're limited to a flat screen when viewing it.
I like traditional because it's a physical piece of art you can look at without the aid of a computer. It's something you can touch and interact with, things like paintings, sculptures, etc. You can make it any size you want, and it can be a beautiful attraction for all to see at home or wherever. For a while, I've been sculpting Yoshis, and it's rather comforting (and just flat out awesome) to see a Yoshi physically on my desktop there with me than to just click on something to be able to look at it on my computer; as well as being able to see paintings of my Yoshi art hung on my wall next to me.
So, as of now, I prefer traditional. Subject to change without notice.

I'm mixed. I like to go for the Traditional way because it's "natural", plus i can draw better with a pencil than with my computer mouse. However, i do love using the Digital way as the computer aided tools can really help to make your sketch come alive. I think it's spiffy that you can just doodle something at work on a piece of reciept paper, then bring that grubby sketch home, scan it, and give it colour, erase grubbiness etc to bring out a lovely piece of work.
I've mainly been using Digital media lately tho. Mostly because i don't have the time and patience anymore to sit down with my coloured pencils and actually give a sketch some life.

In my opinion, traditional is a lot harder to master, and I respect anybody who can make a masterpiece through traditional means, mostly because I think it is so much harder to correct mistakes if you do make them. There's no magical Undo button for paintings or sculptures! Whenever I see a beautiful work of traditional art, I feel that I will never, ever be able to reach that caliber of patience and technique, no matter how much I attempt to practice.
But yeah. I prefer digital because there are things you can pull off smoothly without so much work, such as gradients and halftones. I guess that can be seen as good and bad. =P

I love looking at and making Digital Art. Well, my name's Digi. But coloring digitally can be tiring and stuff but the lovely tool that is the 'undo' button ish awesome. And how the colors are right at your hands. And no getting messy! But I love doing traditional art. Because you can mix the colors, finger paint, get all hands on. :3 I love mixing paint. I had a ball with my last art project. XD I like getting messy when it comes to paint. I don't like cleaning up later though.. >_>;; So, I'm for both.

I like both of digital and traditionnal media... in every ways. Drawing by hand, with charcoal, color pencils, criteriums, acrylic... this is just great ! When I'm drawing on paper, I feel like if I was a part of the sheet of paper... I am the lines I lay down on the paper, I am that girl/boy/thing/landscape on the paper, I am the move I make to draw... I am the drawing, the act "to draw", the tools I use to draw, the feelings linked with the act of drawing.
When I'm drawing on computer, I'm the master, I'm not what I'm drawing, I give orders, and the computer is obeying. There isn't the "equality relations" I have with the paper (drawing traditionnaly).
When I design a website/software/CD-Rom... it's very nice, and I think that it's easier than when I must design a booklet/poster... I think that there is more challenge when I create something that will be printed, it's harder because there is more restrictions compared to the digital media (even if you must use a computer to create "print" products). And I love it !
