Just as I heard on the news this morning about 7 explosions occured, that devastated casualties of people. Just incase you people may not have heard, but it's now on live news. Tune in, because it shows how it really happen just this morning in their time zone. This is a very serious situation, just as they won the Olympics of 2012.

Yeah, it was quite devastating considering i'm a fellow brit. I heard about it once i woke up this morning, i aint worried per se as i live 300 miles up north from London, so it shouldnt (and i hope it doesnt) make its way up here, but its sure as hell made an impact on us. And isnt it ironic how its happened the day after we won the 2012 olympic bid? Makes me sick at the human race to be honest...

Its sure to be more than that soon, last I heard they were still getting people out of the Tube system (or subway, rather).

They still are too. It could've been much worse though in my opinion. Those trains travel at well over 60 Mph (I've been on one a good while ago. They are quick. less than 45 minutes to get from one side of London to the other, or more precisely, Cockfosters to Kings cross(My journey)).
The bus explosion was mental though. Anyone see that?

I heard about what supposedly happened on it. Made me feel so distraught at the thought of it, especially when the reporter said "the windows were splashed with blood"...>_<;

Oh my gosh! One of my friends was traveling in the UK during the summer... Don't know exactly when or where, but I hope she wasn't in London. Who would want to terrorize London? Didn't they learn their lesson from the World Trade Center?

Bah, just heard on the news this morning that it was a terrorist attack and had nothing to do with the olympics, it more likely to do with the G8 summit in Scotland starting yesterday, and they did it to make a stand still to the progress of it. The death count so far rised to 37 (apparantly there are still more) and 700+ are injured...man...

I heard the same way, and as well goes on with their speech. Now they say that Al Qaeda is responsible for the attacks yesterday. And as well, I saw the Miami Heralds newspaper, shows the timeline events of 3 decades that occured on terrorist attacks. I will tell you the events that occured:
March 8, 1973: Two IRA car bombs explodeoutside London's Old Bailey courthouse and government's agriculture department headquarters, killing one and wounding more than 150.
Oct. 5, 1974: Two IRA bombs explode in pubs in London suburb of Guildford; five dead, more than 50 injured.
Nov. 21, 1974: Two IRA bombs in Birmingham kill 19 and wound more than 180.
July 20, 1982: Two IRA bombs in Hyde Park and Regent's Park in London kill 11 British soldiers and wound more than 40, mostly civilians.
Dec. 17, 1983: IRA car bomb explodes outside Harrod's department store, killing six and wounding about 100.
Oct. 12, 1984: IRA targets conference of ruling Conservative Party, killing five and wounding 24, but narrowly missing Prime Minister Maragret Thratcher.
Sept. 22, 1989: The IRA bombs the Royal Marines School of Music in Deal, killing 10 soldiers and wounding more than 30.
Feb. 7, 1991: IRA fires three homemade mortar shells at No. 10 Downing Street, British prime minister's official residence in London. No injuries.
April 10, 1992: Massive IRA truck bomb in London's financial district kills three and causes hundreds of millions of dollars of damage.
March 20, 1993: IRA bomb hidden in garbage can in shopping district of Warrington, northwest England, kills two boys aged 3 and 12.
Feb. 9, 1996: IRA ends a 17-month cease-fire with a massive truck bomb in London's financial district, killing two.
Feb. 18, 1996: An IRA bomber accidently kills himself aboard a London double-decker bus, five injured.
June 15, 1996: IRA targets Manchester in the northwest with a massive truck bomb, wrecking the central shopping area and wounding about 200.
Sept. 20, 2000: IRA dissidents fire rocket-propelled grenade at headquarters of M15 security agency. No injuries.
July 7, 2005: Four blasts rock the London subway system and a bus during the morning rush hour.
Here you have it folks. All the events I typed it off of a newspaper. This really shows the events of major terrorist attacks from 3 decades.

I'm a little worried for my own sake, I think they are bringing survivors to my hometown (Phoenix) or something. I remember after first hearing about it, I blew it off like I did 911, but now that I have a good idea of what's happened, I'm definitly concerned. But why London? As far as I know, they haven't done anything wrong, and they haven't been at war for like what, a century? Besides that, I seriosly doubt Britain will take that sitting down, I'm still unsure if that's a good thing though, I'm not looking forward to a WW3.

It doesn't matter that we didn't do anything, or that we aren't at war, these terrorists are doing it to make us scared of them.
Can't say its working on me... some nutjob in a cave somewhere isn't going to make me do things any differently that how I do them now.
