What are some things about food that you have to be peticular about? I have a lot of friends that do this, but I'm guilty of some things too...
I love tomatoes. Just... not sliced. I love ketchup, salsa, diced tomatoes, and stuff like that. Just... not sliced or on a sandwich/hamburger.
Ketchup and mustard cannot touch on a hotdog, or their flavors mix to make one nasty flavor. It's okay if they mix in my mouth though. Yum.
I like cheese, but I don't like a lot. I either have to ask for no cheese, or half a slice/one piece. (I hate it when they put more that one slice of cheese on food...

Rule out all of seafood, and I'll pretty much eat anything. Kind of like one of those dinosaur things in Super Mario World.

I can't eat anything with onions in it. I know they're supposed to taste of nothing, but I can't stand having to crunch into a thick piece of onion when eating. Spoils my appetite.
Also, I adore strawberry flavoured things (milkshakes and ice cream mainly), but I detest the actual fruit. Same goes for other fruits too, like blackcurrant, raspberry, banana and orange. I prefer to eat/drink the flavoured goods, just not the actual fruit. Exception goes to Apples, in which I'll eat the fruit and drink the juice, but I won't eat it in a Pie or Crumble.

The only food peeve I desire is that any salad I order needs to have dressing on the side. The idea of having a salad drenched in ranch or blue cheese dressing just takes away the healthiness from the salad. However, the only dressing I will allow on my salads are honey mustard or Ceasar dressing, but I put hardly any on there anyway.

I though, you know, people ate them because they're good... They have low-fat ranch and blue-cheese, and honey mustard is even more unhealthy than ranch. Italian and other non-creamy dressings are normally healthy, too.

I, too, have a cheese thing going on. I only eat cheese if it's on chicken (yay chicken parm!) or if its inside a grilled cheese. Anything else, and I just feel sick. I also just cannot stand dark chocolate unless if I have it with white chocolate. it sort of balances each other out, you know? It's weird, too, because everyone in my family adores dark chocolate more than anything else...I'm the runt of the litter, I guess

I can only eat mayonnaise if I don't know it's there. It seems pretty good when I'm oblivious, but if I know someone put it there it just tastes horrible.

Cheese in it's pure form can go away thanks. However if it's liked on pizza or something it's fine. Also grilled halumi is good.
Other than that, cauliflower is the only other thing I don't like. I eat anything else.

No seafood here. All of it has a certain taste to it. . .a salty taste. I don't like it at all. Shrimp, crab, flounder, you name it. Even tuna has that taste that I despise so D=.
I can't eat veal. Its too chewy or something. I also don't like chicken too much. A little is fine, but I don't like the way it sticks to your teeth. I also don't like eating around things with bones. Only buffalo wings.
I love food otherwise, I'm Italian. I can't eat the food if it doesn't have texture though, it just grosses me out. (For example, a blended hamburger.)

I'm still laughing about that post; your word choice was perfect. I have a huge thing with applesauce. I just picture it slithering down my throat, and gag every time. Plus, it's just all-around gross.

I'm Australian...and I can't stand Vegemite. Very unpatriotic of me, I know. I also have very little tolerance of fizzy soft drinks. Can't stand Coke...it's like trying to ram a steel girder down my throat. I can only tolerate Coke if I put something alcoholic in like Bundy Rum, though Vanilla Coke is alright.

I used to love to drink milk, but now I can't without feeling naucious. My main thing though, I never use salt or vinegar unless I'm cooking from a recipe which specifies them both. If I have somthing that isn't in a sauce (for example, the usual 'meat, veg and potato') I always eat the meat first, then the vegetables and the potato last. I never mix foods together unless they're like that when served to me. For instance, if I get a side sallad which is just a tomato and some lettuce, I'll eat the tomatoes first and the lettuce after, unless they've been mixed.

I like rice and pasta with no sauce, but thats just me right. I like food to be simple, nothing too spiced up.

For some reason, pickles in burgers are good. Very good.
Pickles in submarine sandwiches are bad. Pretty bad.

I hate mayo. I don't tolerate pickles, mustard and pickle relish. I don't like salad dressing at all, but I like salad. I hate stake and barbecue sauce. I eat hot dogs and cheeseburgers plain. What else... I like spinach leaves but spinach from a can is just... Blah. Like forcing a rake down my esophagus.

For some reason, pickles in burgers are good. Very good. Pickles in submarine sandwiches are bad. Pretty bad. See, that's because there are two different kinds of pickles when it comes to chips. Burger ones and sandwich ones (which really doesn't make sense since a burger is still a sandwich) and sandwich ones tend to be thinner and left to "prepare" for a shorter time. That's my theory, anyway.

I don't like eggs, but if I put them in a milkshake, they don't seem to do anything, except make it slightly healthier. Lot's that I can't think of as-well.
