So once upon a time, there was a thing called the Game Boy Advance. Anyone hear of it? lol
But yeah. I had one and it got stolen on a ski trip (along with around...6 or 7 of my games, 2 of which Japanese imports) about 2 years ago. Finally I got me a shiny new SP (well no actually I traded my 8 year old neighbor for a lucky rabbit's foot; I think it was because he didn't have the charger anymore. DS PHAT CHARGER FTW!). I've got 3 of my games still, being my dad's copy of Mario Kart (mine was an import, wah) NFS: Porche Unleashed (not bad, not good either) and luckily one of my imports that survived: Super Mario Advance 4.
So I'm asking for a little help. What games do you reccomend to someone who likes racers, platformers, turn-based strategies, and RPGs (no FF, please)? Oh and anything else really. I'm a universal guy, I'll try out anything if you convince me.
Some games I'm already sure I'm going to get as I've played them and was really impressed: Metroid Fusion Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga Advance Wars 1 or 2 WarioWare Twisted lol
C'mon, help meh out here.

If you like Metroid Fusion than I highly recommend Metroid Zero Mission and the Mega Man Zero series as well, it's about running and gunning. Be careful though Mega Man Zero is very hard.
Advance Wars is amazing but if you're going to get Advance Wars 2 then don't worry about the first one; Advance Wars 2 is better in all cases.

Zero Mission never really appealed that much to me. All it is is a remake of Metroid with an extra part at the end, isn't it? And I have Metroid, Metroid II and Super Metroid. Not really in the mood for a game I've already got, no matter how much more improved it is... Oh yeah, I forgot about Megaman Zero. I love those games. Another one I was thinking of was Gunstar Super Heroes... Advance Wars is amazing but if you're going to get Advance Wars 2 then don't worry about the first one; Advance Wars 2 is better in all cases. Yeah, I've played both, Black Hole Rising had a better storyline and stuff. @teh yoshi: lol. Never really like Yoshi's Island. I much prefer the SMB games than the SMW games...

Yeah, hard to beleive, I know. I just don't like Yoshi's Island that much. Maybe it's cuz I have to put up with that annoying baby instead of just flat out dying. I'll take an instant death with a short little plumber than that "WAH! WAH! WAH!" for 20 seconds (sometimes more D: ) any day.

That's.. umm... some statement, you got there.
In any case, since Lazo already said AW.
•FIRE EMBLEM! Any is good •Try to also find some Final Fantasy, any will do, they're all good. •Pokemons~ •Riviera The Promised Land. That's a good game too
that's all I can think of for now.

You let Baby Mario's cry get in the way of all the glory that is Yoshi's Island?
For shame.

Awh, but Final Fantasy Tactics is such a great title D=.
Super Mario World will always be my favorite Mario game. You know, the one for the SNES with Mario and Yoshi and the different colored Yoshis.
The Kirby games are always good in my opinion. I also like the LoZ series. I haven't tried Minish Cap yet, but a Link to the Past is superb. If you don't mind buying GBA games, LoZ: DX, Ages, and Seasons are other great titles.
The Mario Kart game also looks fairly decent.
Other than those though, I really really like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Its probably my favorite game for the GBA, and I thought it was going to be horrible. (Personally, I didn't like FF games either.) If you've ever played any tactical game and fell in love with it, this is probably the next best thing to buy beside Desgaia. Its nothing like the FF fights, and its also a fresh storyline. The only thing that's similar between the games is the jobs and names of spells/items.

Mario Party for the GBA is awesome fun.
Yoshi Topsy-Turvey was great fun. Really unique gameplay, there.

And yeah, definetly Tactics Advanced. •Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. I'm just a sucker for those KH Games •Golden sun, too. Get either the first or second, or both. (Advice on the first one first. To understand the storyline better.)They're both awesome games. •Castlevania! I liked Aria of Sorrow the best, but the others are still great. •Tales of Phantasia. There's nothing wrong with a little Tales of game. |D •Oooh Summon Night. An interesting game you have here. And pretty fun, too. •Sword of Mana. Actually, it's a really good game. And that's pretty much all the ammo I have .-.

Astro Boy: Omega Factor is easily one of the best GBA games I've played.

I think all bases have been pretty much covered here, but I'll list my recommendations anyway.
Fire Emblem & Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. If you want hardcore strategy, there it is. While not impossible it certainly is unforgiving.
Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis. This one might be a bit hard to find, but it's definitely worth the quest. Deep story, and a sense of accomplishment unlocking classes and beating maps. Can't go wrong here.
Tales of Phantasia. The translation could use some work, yes. The voice acting is atrocious (though what do you expect from the GBA?), yes. Gameplay is great, if not somewhat breakable once you get the right gear. Overall a fun experience.
Any Castlevania title will do, as they're all awesome, Harmony of Dissonance being the runt of the three, I'd personally say.
And yes, METROID ZERO MISSION, for the love of the gods YES. Zero Mission is amazing.

For your SP eh?..... well, I would recommend Mario Kart Super Circuit for the GBA....which is EPIC WIN xD and Mario Golf-Advance Tour, also for the GBA, which sounds boring, but it's actually extremely fun. These two games are AWESOME!! ;D
