I wouldn't imagine why some people would outright tell you that they don't like your name, which is a highly common one. Besides, a lot of famous and influential people in history are named Charles. You see it written all over Bohemian, French, British, Spanish, Italian, and Swedish nobility, albeit in their respective variations of the name. Other examples would include that you've got Charles Dickens, a famous English novelist, and there's Charles Darwin, a naturalist who has contributed a lot to science we all know about today. Seriously, check out the list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CharlesSo if people start giving you garbage about your name, they can go suck it, because chances are their names aren't as meaningful and influential as yours. You don't get a lot of awesome people with the name "Dragon," anyway. |

Since I'll probably never be acknowledged enough to build up suspense, I'll just tell you.... Jarrod... That's my first name. Wierd way to spell it, I know. My mom wanted an original name for me, which I appreciate because it fits my unnatural and odd habits. Tch, try finding one of those coffee mugs with that spelling of the name at a gift shop. It's impossible....  |

Haw, I was thinking that, too. Yeah, Charles is a wonderful name, I'd cherish it if I were you. I mean, let's see here, if you look at Peanuts (coincidentally made by Charles Schulz. C'mon, seriously!) Charles can be called "Chuck." Dude, Chuck! That's one step closer to awesome! I'm refering to Chuck Norris. Is anyone listening, here? If none of that convinces you, let's just add some more win sauce to this silver platter, huh? Charles apparently means "man." Seems it used to mean "army" or "warrior."
