Yes, it does provide a challenge, but it helps me to build more creativity in regards to my writing ^^, so the more people that join, the more practice I get in developing my skill. I wouldn't mind if you joined at all, but it is definitely your choice ^^.

So you want to build creativity eh?
I have two possible character choices. Which one would you like to assimilate?

One is a fairly acceptable character, Greg, who uses a bow and arrow, along with limited magic. I say acceptable because his armaments aren't too high tech, so he would fit with the other characters easily.

Then there is Private Agent, a Firebat yoshi (Actually, he's a Ghost agent, there was a mix up with his name at HeadQuarters during his replacement, which is why he's now called called "Agent") with futuristic weaponry. He dons Terran (Yoshi) armor, and has two arm mounted flame throwers.

I'll put in more detail after I hear what you have to say.

Well, is there any way that you could give me more information about both of the characters? I am having a really hard time choosing between them XD. Tell me more about their abilities and background story if you could ^^. That would definitely help me make a choice.

Name: Leo Winters
Character Age: Child
Gender: Male
Weapons/Accessories: None
Special Powers or Abilities: Snow powers. The ability to create and attack/defend with snow. He cannot use water or ice powers though, the snow aspect about it is very specific.
Alliance: Neutral. Depending on how you feel like using this character, he can work into a neutral good or neutral evil (though this would better fit into his situation as opposed to his choice. It's your choice.)
Background summary: For the sake of this particular story, I'll provide this: Leo Winters, a penguin with a bowtie and glasses, isn't from around here. Not just in spacial matters, but in matters concerning time. He comes from a very extremely far-away point in time. If you must know exactly when, I'll PM you the rough date. The point is that he simply isn't supposed to be there. He considers himself lost and finds returning to his time his highest priority, so as a result he is willing to join either side should they have a means of getting him back. He is not naturally evil though, so even if he were to join the evil side, he would be rather reluctant and defiant should the situation cross the line.
Leo is fairly studious and intelligent (just because he is not from this time doesn't mean he doesn't know how things work). He is not too shy though, in fact he can act silly a lot. However, he is also dignified and sophisticated when he needs to be, as well as cautious. He also loves fish, to a rather extreme end.
Weaknesses: (I know you didn't ask for these, but I thought you should know this): He's a penguin with no legs and is a little pudgy, so his can't run very fast. He is also quite near-sighted, and losing his glasses can render him virtually blinded. He has no fighting talents or weapons, so in combat he relies soley on his powers.

Is this acceptable?

Of course it is acceptable! ^^. In fact, it is a wonderfully creative character. I have a lot of awesome ideas on how to work Leo into the story ^^. I do have a question about him though, that I will probably just ask the next time I am on MSN XD.

Weapons/Accessories: Moon Bow, quiver, Inferno Quiver
Special Powers or Abilities: The Inferno Quiver allows him to imbue arrows with a flame based magic, and these arrows can be used like any other arrow.
Alliance: Neutral to Good
Background summary: For the sake of your story, I'll make it simple: Greg has recently completed his quest with a group of friends he met on the way. His skills have improved during his travels, and now he's here, thanks to the ability to travel through dimension, something he had discovered on his journey. (Incase any of your are wondering, this is my version of Greg from Yoshis v. WireFrame 2. Zanarkand Blitz, you know who I'm talking about. ^^
His travels have also made him stable minded and calculating, though he will always ask others on their views just for the heck of it.

Weapons/Accessories: Arm mounted Plasma-based Perdition Flame Throwers, Standard issue Terran Firebat armor.
Special Powers or Abilities: Stim packs, allows Agent to run frighteningly fast, and attack with precision and disturbing skill for a short period of time. Some side effects are uncontrollable aggressiveness, pain ranging from the limbs to the torso, and on rare occasions hallucinations. It's quite bad for him, really.
Alliance: Neutral, will side with anyone who can help him return to his time period.
Background summary: Little is known about Private Agent. Originally, he was a Ghost agent serving the Terran Confederacy. He committed some sort of crime, and the details are hazy after this, but there was a mix up with his name and his actual name was deleted and replaced with just "Agent". The Confederacy removed him from his position as a Ghost, and put him through extreme re-socialization, resulting in permanent memory loss. He still had a use though, so they put him in the military's Firebat training program, and he's been serving as a Firebat ever since. We're not sure how he ended up here though...

Heh, looks like my Firebat won't be meeting your robotic armor guy anytime soon. That's too bad. Oh well.

Yoshiken, use my character to do whatever. Do anything to him, really. Send him to do something bizarre, make him a minor character, and if you want, kill him. Do whatever. Anything. I want your story to be a good one.

Oh wow, this reminds me of the good old days of Leoshi's Good or Evil. I have decided that I would also like to join this Fan Fic and resurrect one of my long un-used and quickly redesigned character of Threafore. I hope including yet another character wouldn't be too difficult.

The following is the description for this character.

Name: Threafore
Race: Arctic Wolf
Character Age: 3.5 years old
Gender: Male

Appearance:

Very similar to the following picture.

Weapons/Accessories: Teeth, strength

Special Powers or Abilities: Powerful sense of smell and hearing, superior eyesight to a human, runs faster than a human and typical wolf traits including ability to survive in extreme cold environments and go without food for days. Threafore also has a slightly higher than average intelligence for a wolf (which are quite intelligent) which allows him to understand basic commands, words and behaviors.

Note: Threafore is just a normal arctic wolf with a higher than normal intelligence. He is not a talking anthropomorphic character. You will probably have to write using him in 3rd person. He is unable to speak, so that could prove difficult if you're not used to writing for animals. You can write his thoughts.

Alliance: Neutral becoming eventually Good

Background summary: Threafore was born in an area of Alaska called Mint White Valley (fictitious location). He lost his pack to humans at an early age while he was hunting. He left then left Mint White Valley. You can do whatever you like with his character; don't kill him though.

I've decided to put both characters into one.

Name: Firago
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Rex
Weapons/Accessories: Halberd, Red scarf, Black aviator jacket
Special Powers and Abilities: Several yoshi abilities, natural flight, basic water and wind magic, resorts to claws and teeth when disarmed, piloting mastery
Alliance: Neutral becoming good or evil.
Appearance: A dark-teal colored rex with larger than usual wings

Background summary: A gifted rex who is bored of his everyday life and is ready for an adventure. Many consider him a mutant because of his intelligence, rare scale color, and unusually large wings for a rex. He prefers to fight using a halberd which is a two-handed pole weapon with an axe-like blade at the end along with a pike tip. Firago has strength rivaling Yoshiken’s and he occasionally uses basic water and wind magic mostly for support such as minor healing and protection. He has a profession as a scientist and operating vehicles such as aircraft. Although his piloting skills are great, most of his inventions are unsuccessful often blowing up in his face when he completes or uses them.

Firago lost his parents at a young age and was a weak rex who would be made fun of by his more primitive peers. One day a human saved his life from certain death. From that point on his life took a dramatic change as the human took him away from the place he reluctantly called home. Although the human raised him with care Firago initially did not like the human for taking him away but as he grew into a strong rex he eventually saw the human as the parental figure he had lost. Firago showed much interest in the concept of aviation and the human coincidentally was an aircraft pilot and decided to teach him how to fly the vehicles. When the human felt that it was time to take Firago back to his original home he gave him a scarf and a custom-made aviator jacket as a memento of their time together. The human was tragically killed in a freak accident upon returning Firago.

Recently Firago performed a successful experiment on himself that granted him the traits and abilities of a yoshi. Since then he gained a kind and brave personality but the rex side of him causes him to sometimes prefer traveling alone because he feels he’s too different from everyone else. Although Firago doesn’t talk as much as others he enjoys being around others and would go great lengths to achieve something but he is hard on himself when he fails at something. Money isn’t everything to him, he has no problem helping someone even though it has none or negative benefits to himself. He has erratic luck that seems to cause him more bad luck than good but sometimes appears at the right time to help people.

Don't worry, I still plan on continuing this, I just had to take a break for this semester because I got cocky, and took way too many classes than I should have at school, not to mention I am in the AFROTC. I don't even know why I took so many classes, since I am already farther ahead in my schooling than the other students in my major. So after this semester ends in about a month, expect me to start writing again ^^.
