The Adventure Never Ends

"The name is Syleena. Its really nice to meet you."

[Rackinac]

Mira frowns and spits a bloody lump on the ground, ripping out another ice shard from her gut.

"Call me Mira. And don't even mention a thirst for blood because I am soooo parched right now... you know, I never liked fighting. Had to fight, found out it gets stuff done so why the hell not, right? Plus food is nice sometimes too."

[Teal]

Got a little grossed out by the bloody lump. "Good to meet you all...I guess you can call me by my color...call me Teal for now." He nodded to Karth. "I'll do my best to not be a burden. All I ask is for patience please. It's a very difficult feeling when you don't remember a darn thing. If you can work with me for a while I wont stop looking for a way to repay the favor."

"Don't worry. You will only be a burden if you think you are because you will act on your thoughts." Syleena said.

[Lord of the Dance]

"You're all a burden already," Champ grumbled, lowering his head. He bit his lip and managed a tiny smirk. "But I'm sure once we get there you can have someone else. I don't like you and you don't like me."

[nitrostraggler]

"I never said outright that I don't like you. You just come off as a little gruff to me."

[Strangie]

"In a job like this, it don't matter much who ya like, as long as ye get the job done..." Karth shook his head. "Not that it matters any more, I suppose. Let's just get our way to the capital ASAP, eh?"

[nitrostraggler]

"Right, because since this guy is that dangerous, he'll probably kill somebody soon."

[Teal]

Teal shook his head at Champ, "Alright mister attitude I'll keep your words in mind. So who is this 'dangerous' guy you are so obsessed about?" Teal noticed he was having an easier time walking now and thought about reading the book again.

[nitrostraggler]

"You just missed him. He is the reason that the zombie is all bloody."

[Lord of the Dance]

"The so-called 'dangerous' guy," Champ grinned, "Is a magikoopa that ticked off the League. I only think he's dangerous 'cause they sent like ten of us after 'im. But maybe I'm wrong, considering he took off the moment the zombie charged at 'im. Either way, we gotta catch 'im alive or the League ain't gonna pay nothin'. And now we're even farther from that than when we started." He brushed at the bristly hairs on his snout and cheeks, staring around. The shrubs and short trees were growing into a forest. The noon sun was mostly blocked out a short way down the road. A decrepit sign by the side of the road marked the trees as the 'Woodburn Woods'.

(If we could all post a little more often then we could really get this thing rolling. If you guys can manage it, that would be nice.)

[Strangie]

"The forest... might not be as far away as I thought, I can feel it..." Karth remarked as he looked up at the trees as they walked along. "... still too bloody tall, though..."

(I'm doing my part. I don't want this RP to die. I have had a lack of RPs.)

"Not that I care, but how much money are we gonna get?"

[Moot]

"If you didn't care, you wouldn't be asking..." Moot turned his attention to the changing surroundings, noticing the area was getting more heavily wooded as the group went on. "We should probably be keeping an eye out while we're in here, if that turtle guy can disappear when he wants then I'm assuming he can reappear at any point, too. I'd hate for us to get ganked if he showed up behind us or anything. Still, if we're lucky I might be able to hear him coming... I might get some use out of these big old ears of mine if he tries to get the drop on us."

Moot pulled out his scythe, mainly because all his talk of sneak attacks and whatnot had made himself paranoid that the guy they were after was going to burst out from behind a tree at any minute.

[Strangie]

"Aye, can agree to that... why don't ye watch the front, uh... Moot, was it? And I'll be rear guard, aye? That way we got all sides covered. I'll let ye know if I see anythin'."

Karth falls back a bit, sticking close to the group while walking backwards most of the ways, though he keeps checking to make sure he doesn't bump into the person next in line for a quick second before keeping a careful watch on the back of the group.

[Teal]

Teal relocated himself near the center of the group and opened the book holding it at arms length. He turned to a page that has general information about Magikoopas. "Lets see...does this guy wear a blue robe and blue pointy hat like the one on this picture? Or does this guy wear something different?"

He kept reading and checked his path every once in a while to make sure he doesn't bump into anyone.

[Yoshiken]

Yoshiken watched as Moot grabbed his scythe in a battle-ready mindset. Karth, wanting to be prepared for a surprise encounter as well, gave himself the responsibility of being the rear guard. The greenery started to become denser with every passing moment, adding more of the element of danger. Though he still didn't completely agree with this whole mission, Yoshiken didn't want to be a bother to his current allies.

"I agree as well. Who knows how well the magikoopa knows the layout of this area. We better keep our eyes focused," Yoshiken confirmed. He continued to switch his gaze left and right, trying to watch for any movement off the trail, not bothering to look in back, knowing that the rear was already covered.

"I don't need the money, but I wondered how much money we would all get when this is finished." Syleena said.

[RaYoshi]

Ra crossed his arms once more, trying to stay in the middle of the group from his lack of weapons, chanting to himself every now and then, just to be safe. "As long as it's enough..." Ra said with a sigh. He looked around, trying to take in the scene, "...let's just move a little faster. I don't like to be in a place where I have no idea of what the terrain would be after a hill."

Syleena took out her dagger and twirled it around, then looked around, waiting and watching, and looking for anything that was suspicious.
