Erlosung decided to see if there was anything of interest, going a bit away from the group but not too far. He concluded that perhaps they did travel back in time. By the time he looked back, he saw the group go to a town.
"... I'm not going to that town... As they didn't see me as a freak to begin with... If this really is the past... then most likely I'm still in some lab just working with colleagues with who knows what... probably enhancing that holographic device set that enables one to look like something else like a yoshi and sound like one too... I just recall too many others staring at us so bleh... they either think of us as some merchant or a far away traveler, asking for stories or some rare goods..."
He decided then to just stay a bit from afar, watching from the distance with his eye contraption set to telescopic sight. He then saw Firago and shortly afterwards and saw a toad and two Yoshis pin him up.
"...yet again he ends up being in some trouble... I do wonder where the others are..."
Immediately he reverts his vision to normal and takes out his gun and adds a silencer attachment.
"Dealing with Yoshis. especially.. best I do this..."
He gets a chemical spray and sprays himself, masking his scent to nothing.
"And now to get there carefully..."
Finally, he starts going down to the town and enters in as discreetly as possible, trying his best not to be seen. He would take alleyways and dark pathways whenever possible. He would keep his gun hidden under his clothing and try to get as close as possible to Firago without being seen by the toad or the two yoshis. If seen by others, he would just act cooly as if just being a merchant passing through the town with no particular business.

Maya saw that Erlosung was going to deal with a bunch of rogues out of the corner of her eye and got ready to attack if she had to.

One of the two yoshies was a pink female and saw Maya. "Is that one of them?" she asked the toad. The toad replied with a nod. The pink yoshi kept her distance away from Maya standing next to the other yoshi holding a staff in a casting position while the toad stood in front the captured Firago. The toad looks exactly like the one that Erlosung tried to interrogate earlier.
The other yoshi was a bluish green color and had Firago captured by the neck with a combat knife against it ready to slash it if anything goes wrong. The bluish green yoshi spoke in a more masculine voice. "You there..." he said to Maya. "Tell me why you intend to stop us! What's the point in ensuring the end of the world!? And don't you dare start on how there's some special ideal world for you that appears after your doomsday crud..."

"Ensuring the end of the...what? We aren't trying to ensure the end of ANYTHING! Except maybe the end f the virus! We don't want to make sure the world ends! We just want to stop the virus before it strikes anybody else."

Erlosung just decides to see what happens. When he saw them up close, the pink Yoshi with the staff immediately caught his attention. He then saw Maya come up to them. He listened to some of the conversation. When the bluish green yoshi spoke about Maya and Firago ensuring the end of the world, he lowered his gun down. Nonetheless he kept an eye on the pink Yoshi.
After some thinking, he decided most likely the pink Yoshi may already know that he is near and that there may be no point in hiding, knowing how magic can be. Before revealing himself, he comes out of his hiding spot and murmured quickly casting a dispell on the pink Yoshi's staff, disabling its magical uses, if any, and attempting to do so on the pink Yoshi herself, perhaps being able to do somewhat efficiently due to being able to concentrate some amount of time and the target being rather still.
Quickly after decides to concentrate on the combat knife, particularly the blade metal(s), ready to pull it off and away from Firago's neck via electricity/magnet if needed.
"... I think we are in an obvious... misunderstanding..."
Erlosung just looks at them with no apparent emotion due to his fully covered face. He stands in a rather coolish looking pose but has one of his hands discreetly directed towards the combat knife.

Firago nearly gagged trying to speak but was still unable to. "Misunderstanding huh?" said the male yoshi. "Stopping the virus...Yeah right! Then explain why you intruded into our lab attempting to sabotage our development of the cure? It was nearly complete when your friend injected himself with that freak juice and turned into a deadly monster!"
The yoshi clutched his hand onto the knife harder as he was angry as the group who stood in front of him. The pink yoshi immediately realized her magic was dispelled. "..." she drank a small vial of ether and then focused her eyes on the dispeller. "You disgust me..." she said to Erlosung and watched his every move while the male kept his eyes on Maya.
Meanwhile Rookie noticed he still stinks so he went back to the water hose and continued spraying himself down.

"Wait. What? He injected himself.... He turned into a.... I don't get it.... How is it that....." Maya said, looking more confused and frazzled then ever. "Freak juice? What the heck is this freak juice? He told us he wanted to cure the virus!"

Erlosung just listened and observed what has happened thus far. He saw the pink yoshi decided to restore some of her magic back drinking ether. Erlosung just gives a disappointed sound. He then heard the male yoshi about the toad lying and questioning truth of the whole matter.
"First of all, lets not do anything... stupid... *stares at the pink yoshi* and that is a rather.. typical reaction; I get that alot... And best not use any magic either..."
Erlosung kept his position, still having one of his hand positioned towards the knife and now keeps an eye on the female yoshi.
"As far as if we are lying or not... For starters, I can provide you the sign up message and instructional letter(s) we saw and got that got us into all this mess and what not as perhaps some sort of proof we mean no harm; we only signed up to stop and reverse this mess...
...and nice try, Firago, on implementing ways to make those letters and what not disappear. As any good researcher would do, I copied and archived it without the self-destructing mechanism..."

"Give me that letter!" snapped the toad as he took the letter from Erlosung with a seemingly swift thief's hand. The toad reads the letter. "Well what good is this? It doesn't have any details of your 'mission' so I may as well assume your mission was to storm into our lab and ruin our plans for the cure!"
"Wait a minute." said the pink yoshi. "They don't seem like evil people to me and we can use their help. I mean think about it! You and I are the only ones left from the lab." she said to the toad. "We took an oath to stop the virus and to stop that freaky cult. I don't think we can stop the virus from breaking out with just the few of us."
"I think she's right..." said the male yoshi.
The toad pondered about what the pink yoshi said. He paced back and forth grumbling. "Very well. Let the rex go." The toad walks up to Erlosung while the male yoshi released Firago. The toad cleared his throat and held out his hand. "I'll forgive you for now for what you did back in the lab. My name is Ross."
The pink yoshi turned to the male and said, "I'm glad you came to visit me at the lab when you did. We could definitely use your help Teal."
"True...but I'm not a chemist like you Pandora and I lost my spear and my jacket when I caught on fire trying to escape the lab..." said the bluish green yoshi who is apparently nicknamed after his color.

Maya took a look at Firago and started to think about something. "Why DID you destroy the lab anyway?" she asked straight up.

Firago gave a confused look at Maya. "What are you talking about? Who said I destroyed the lab? That monster destroyed the lab! I was only defending myself!" he yelled.
Ross chuckled to himself, "I almost forgot, they were placed in the holding cells while all that happened. Alright now listen up. Here's the plan. We are going to test out some theories that we came up with in the lab as to how the virus originated. Most of the time I believe we will split up." The mustached lab coat garbed toad wearing glasses eyed each of you. "We are going to trust you with your assistance to our common goal. Do not abuse this trust because the future of this world rests into our hands."
Pandora the pink yoshi spoke, "Please we can use your help!"
"It's totally up to them..." said Teal the bluish green yoshi.
"We believe the virus originated from Bog of Eternal Stench," Explained Ross. "At this time period I believe the virus is not yet potent enough to petrify you. Will you help us inspect the area for clues? ...by the way I thought there were more of you in your little group. I believe Hansen the famous detective was with you. We could surely use his help. And what happened to those other yoshies you were with?"
"I believe we got separated when we entered the time portal," said Firago. "I think it's possible for them to have been teleported to different locations and I hope we run into them again. Besides I think I'll go ahead and join you Ross but I can't speak for the others."

(I am SOOOOOO sorry! I did not mean to keep procrastinating on posting. After being in California until the beginning of January, I kept telling myself that I would post after I read everything that happened. Well, more kept being posted, and so I concluded that I needed more time until I could post, which led to more procrastination! I won't let it happen again! Just pretend that I have completely been with the group until stepping out of the portal)
"And stay out!" shouted a deep voice within the saloon. Hansen ran out with Aces flying out of his sleeve. He was never good at cards, or cheating. He thought that if he added two negatives, it would come out a positive. Obviously, he was never good at math either.
He quickly spotted a group forming nearby, and recognized some familiar faces belonging to his teammates. He ran over and pushed himself into the middle of the group, "Guys, I thought I would never see you again! Didja miss me!? Did I miss anything?"
He waited a few seconds before realizing that he didn't want to allow anyone to actually answer the question. "Anyways, it seems like we went back in time! It must have been that portal. I appeared right next to the saloon, and I thought to myself, 'what better place to investigate!'" He looked at the two yoshies and the toad, "and I see that we have some new faces! Allow me to introduce myself, I am Hansen. Hansen the Detective."

"Ah good so you turned up after all," said Ross. "My colleagues and I suspect that the Bog of Eternal Stench could be where the virus originated. That bog has so much bacteria churning in it that if you fall in it you will stink forever! I'm serious too, you would stink so bad that you will pass out indefinitely. What we're going to do is search for clues over there. I have some Hazmat suits available for all of us."
"Hansen whether or not you're going to be joining us," continued Ross. "We're leaving right now so think quickly!" Ross picked up a rather large attache case and started walking toward a horse stable. As he spoke with the stable keeper he pointed at a prairie schooner which is a wagon covered with a cloth.
Teal looked at Firago's injured foot. "Don't need you slowing us down now..." he said before thinking for a moment then he closed his eyes and gathered some magic energy into his right fist. He pointed his fist toward Firago's foot and opened his hand. A blue tinted wind swirled around the foot as it instantly healed. "Now don't be asking me to heal you all the time..."
Firago moved his foot around making sure it's okay. "Heh thanks." Teal walked away into town without saying a word. Pandora followed him saying to the group: "We're going to get some supplies don't worry we will catch up to you soon."

Maya followed everybody else not wanting to be left behind. "But if we fall in the bog with our hazmat suits, won't the hazmat suit only stink and not us?"

"Bog of Eternal Stench..."
Erlosung just quietly follows the group. He thought quite alot of Teal and Pandora and what magic capabilities they may have. He already doesn't feel comfortable around Teal with his healing magic, much more so with Pandora, not knowing what she may have in store. He also thought about what profession the two are to begin with, and is especially intrigued with the fact Pandora is a chemist. Nonetheless he just kept content for now working with the newcomers.
He then thought about the hazmat suits and how effective it may or may not be.
"Skeptical about these hazmat suits. Unless these suits have its own air tank of sorts, we could have a problem. Then against we mustn't underestimate how far technology has gone, yes?"

"Nah the suits won't protect you from stinking," said Ross. "They will protect you from the variety of bacteria found in the bog though and block most of the stench. I don't think there's anything that will protect you from becoming putrid from falling in. You see the reason why it's eternal is because it penetrates into your suit and body effectively making itself last perpetually. There is no cure so be careful. Sorry but I don't have anything better with me."
Firago walked over to the wagon. "Erm..do you have any better means of transportation?" Firago said to Ross. "No, do you?" Ross replied. "Does anyone else have a better way to do this?" he continued to ask Maya, Erlosung, and Hansen.
Just then a black yoshi using a new cowboy vest, hat, revolver, and whip appeared. "Y'all missed me?" it was Rookie. "What are we doin next?"
