As far as I recall neither of the people you mentioned even connected with javachat, the most likely event is that they just lost interest in the place.

Most of the original YC members have long since dispersed, I'm probably one of the only oldbies who hangs around here with any sort of regularity these days.

Yes I know they were on IRC, but they weren't using javachat. In any case those people have all but left YC completely.

What I'd really like for Christmas is for this awful cold to go away. I NEVER get sick! Why now?

But anyway... I'd like Fable 3, a new iPod, a new digicam, and a new graphics tablet. My old iPod and camera were stolen some months ago by someone I trusted, and the pen on the tablet I have now is slowly cracking. I'd also like a blender for making smoothies and small sketchbook to fit in my tote.

I'm probably only getting one or two of these things, it's an expensive list. I don't mind, though.
