Oh and another idea I have, getting rid of the karma meters because members come and see that and might get intimidated.

After reading all of this, I'm glad to see a lot of serious thought being shown. Though I have been absent for a year, I would still hate to see this place die.
I believe someone mentioned something about running a charity event(haven't been taking notes, so sorry that I don't know who)? I've seen them done before, and they are pretty fun to be in. If you need people to partake in it, or even need someone to help run it, I would be more than willing to jump in! I don't know if any of you know this event, but I've participated in the Falcon-Punchathon a couple of times, now, and would definitely like to see something like that happen here.
Edit: It was PFY's idea. Had to search the page to find it, again.

I just want to say that I have never heard of the "Falcon-Punchathon" before, but that it sounds like the greatest event ever. I don't care what it has to do with, but with a name like that I would join in a heart-beat.

Simply, if you die from a falcon punch, you donate a set amount of money. Also, to make sure that people play as captain falcon, everyone must play as him every fourth or fifth round. The rules can change around a bit to fit something that can be done online, but at my college, we usually compete to see who can get the most punch KOs for a prize. We raised well over 300 dollars in one night last time, and I as the reigning champ came in fourth  I'm not sure how we could integrate something like this as a charity people can watch and donate, but even if we get people to sign up to partake on a certain day or time, it could happen like that. Again, the main problem would be the execution. |

Let's not let this thread run out of steam again!
I'd have posted earlier (and flaunted shiny ADMIN PRIVS) but work is sucking up my free time.
Once I actually remember some html I'll get on adding the other YC things into the header. I could probably knock up some images once I legally obtain a legal copy of Photoshop, unless somebody else beats me to it and makes some prettier images because I'm probably just going to end up doing text buttons and barf layer filters all over them.

Hey Pink, I know I bug you about this a lot, and it's probably getting annoying, but I'd like to see those mockups, even if they're only half-finished and don't have corresponding CSS/HTML yet. Whatever you drew in Photoshop would be fine for now.

I'd like to see them too (as probably many other people as well) It would be probably good to show what it looks like now, so ideas on how to improve it will be easier to suggest when you have an idea what it looks like. |

As I've said in IRC, I'll get it together for tomorrow night. I'm currently working on another project at the moment which has a deadline.
If I finalize the Proboards theme tonight, then I'll apply it within the next few hours. That'll give you an idea of the direction I'm going.
