Judging by the mess this guy has left most of the Yoshi Cafe in, I doubt it. :/
Time to clean up! Edit: Trash spam moved to the dumpster.
I'd move this one, but I figured members wanted some laughs.

I laughed
But just to clarify, yoshis cannot be taken off of the new mario parties because there won't be any new mario parties as far as I'm aware of. Almost all of the original programmers for the early mario parties are now retired or working for other gaming companies, and nintendo has somehow realized that they killed the popular franchise since mario party 6. I think the ultimate failure of Mii Party has brought about the end of Mario Party for a very long time, unfortunately.
If there is any news on a new mario party, do let me in on it.

Ahh, Mario Party... I remember playing that with my friends when I was younger. Good times... I swear, I got it for Christmas so many times haha.
Anyways, taking yoshi out of Mario Party would be ridiculous. It would be like... taking Ganon out of a Zelda game. Like taking Bowser out of a Mario game. Like taking Will Turner out of a Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It would be like taking Kremlings out of Donkey Kong. It would be like making Banjo Kazooie into a game centered on vehicles. It's just unheard of. So don't worry.

Hah, Nuts and Bolts reference.
But taking the Kremlings out of Donkey Kong didn't necessarily make DKC Returns a bad game.

Oh of course not. I love DKC Returns. It was a beautiful game.

I still miss the Kremlings... Also, if Yoshi goes the way of Donkey Kong in upcoming Mario Party games, I think I will go berserk. Fo' real.

But what would yoshi do if that were the case? Give you an egg to hatch for an item? Also i think its worth mentioning it took me 10 minutes to type this with a Wiimote, further proving the ridiculous decisions by nintendo and myself.

It would be like making Banjo Kazooie into a game centered on vehicles. Oh wait...... Actually all of those things Rainbow said has already happened. (Though I actually don't know about the Donkey Kong thing.) Regardless, I doubt they'd ever take Yoshi completely out of a Mario Party game.

Regardless, I doubt they'd ever take Yoshi completely out of a Mario Party game. I'm sure there's no doubt that Yoshi will always be in future Mario Party games, but the fear seems to be that he may not be playable, like poor Donkey Kong and how he got demoted to being a spot on the board.

I haven't played Mario Party 5 and 6, but I'd have to say that after 3 they started getting kinda lame... Mario Party 1 all the way!

Mario Party 1 was so gritty, the only party game I'm aware of where you can screw over everyone financially and actually lower the net worth of all 4 players just to stay on top.
It's absolutely glorious.

Mario Party 1 was really the only one where you could legitimately screw the other characters over. From then on they toned it down, so attacks were more random or used chance games. While I suppose it makes it more family friendly, it made the following story modes total luck work. Mario Party 3's story mode was honestly just aaugh, because you were begging the game not to pull a fast one on the last five turns.

Mario Party 3's story mode allowed you to save after every turn. So if something bad happened, you could quit, go back into story mode, and resume playing from the last save.
...not that I ever did that.
I'm not sure if the other ones let you do that. I don't think I ever tried.

I'm pretty sure 4 did. It's been awhile though. It seems like 4 lacked so much compared to previous Mario Party's. >:

I think I still liked 4. And 5 for that matter. It was 6 and beyond when I started to lose interest in them. Yet I still bought them all, haha.

Actually, my favorite Mario Party of them all has to be 4 (and yeah, I did a lot of soul searching with that one, and even I still find it surprising I'd prefer it over the glorious N64 Mario Party games). Where it lacks in board design (I didn't like the whole linear pathway thing), it makes up for having the best quality mini-games, and that's usually what Mario Party is all about, anyway. It's also the last Mario Party to actually have items that are items, unlike capsules or candies or whatever. I never liked that format.
