Maybe a few more "est"s would improve your case.
I'm not really sure if people go for the nerdy guy in practice. After all, as soon as I imprint conversations with phrases like "Strike-skip faluts," "Subduction," "Con Con 1787" and "Schlieffen plan" people start leaving.
