I don't think world 6 is as big as Yoshi's Island. Since it's only a 9 levels long.

Well, let's suppose that in the dimension of the Koopa Kingdom, the other areas are ripped away. It makes it a bit more macabre or whatever.

...
The only real "kingdom" was Dark Land in SMB3.
And it's all on the same planet.

In Yoshi's Island at Raphael the Raven's Castle, Kamek says "You can, ah, will, ahh, NEVER reach the Koopa Kingdom!" Soooo...at the time, the Koopa Kingdom was in a dimension parallel to Yoshi's Island.

That makes sense, and I thought something like that as well because after you defeat Raphael, Yoshi is like teleported to this dark islandy place, so yeah, it being the Koopa Kingdom makes sense. Yoshi could also have been transported to another version of the Valley of Bowser from SMW...

The Yoshi's where transported via Kameks magic to insure that they couldn't do any more damage to Bowser's forces on Yoshi's Island. And that area is probably abandoned since Kamek and Bowser never went back.
All the Yoshi's that helped out with the relay thing where put there, not just one, cus it would seem unlikly that any Yoshi's would be in the Koopa Kingdom.

Simple: Raphael the Raven was the only thing between the Yoshis and the cleverly-hidden Koopa Kingdom. Kamek gave him magic to prevent the Yoshis from finding the magic interdimensional Keyhole to the Koopa Kingdom. (heheh, Keyhole ) When the blue Yoshi beat Raphael and sent him flying into space as a constellation, the key appeared and opened up the Keyhole, thus granting access to the dark and forbidden Koopa Kingdom, hidden in another dimension. There, problem solved.

Yeah, hovering, not going into a key hole.
And the key hole could just lead to outside the castle.
And and of course it didn't turn nighttime on the island everything changed.

Yeesh, the Keyhole thing was just for effect. I'm just saying that at first, when Raphael was a regular Raven, Kamek already gave him magic to make him the guardian of the portal to the dimension of the Koopa Kingdom. And yeah, it could be a Subspace thing, as in SMB2, Subspace is an alternate dimension of sorts.

Just as long as it is a good show... make it good and all of that won't matter too much!
