What about World of Worldcraft? I heard that people who play, is addicted right then and now! I would love to play but a monthly fee isn't the best.

Well at times if there wasn't a monthly fee to these games, then who would pay the developers for all the work they did. How would it grow? Who would feed it the power to continue, they need the materials, and since this world is so materialistic, they have to find that money. If we don't pay, they don't get, if they don't get, you don't play, and if we don't play, we get angry and cranky. At times, unfortuantly, some games really don't open up to us unless our parents are generous or we have a hefty pocket.
World of Warcraft is one of the great games, but it to has its cons as all do, and yes many do get addicted as they all do. If you love RPG's I reccomend a see of it, or at least one play anything that suits you. It's just the money that always proposes some ill issues unfortuantly, but they can't be ignored. So I know where you're coming from, but even free games have their fees secretly if you want the "Extra" membership and "items"

Secretely...yeah, and when you stop membership, your game goes nearly down the drain...
My runescape membership was stopped by my parents...and now I can't do anything, my account had become membership dependent. I can still spend time raising some stats and making half the money I did in the process, but still...
They make it so at a point, the free games become dull and make you depend on membership to keep going...that is SMART.
