So hmmm I have to choose a favorite Anime, mine would still and maybe even always be Paranoia Agent, Fooly Cooly... and thats really all the animes I've ever enjoyed. They need to grasp a heavy moral, not just action and destruction.

Dragonball Z annoyed me, and GT made me puke, seriously! I'm not as into Anime as I used to, but these were/are my favorites: Cowboy Bebop .hack//SIGN Inu Yasha(I don't care if everyone else likes it! There's a reason they do!!!) Now, if we're talking manga, then, hehe.. Shaman King, Hikaru no Go, Naruto, One Piece... I love too many! XDD

Try watching something like .hack//SIGN or even Cowboy Bebop. Violence is present, but it's not as commonplace. Anime is also just a style of cartoon. Manga is the term for Japanese comics, usually in Graphic Novel style. Generally they differ as American comics do, but some people like to catagorize them as either Shonen or Shoujo. Boys' Comics or Girls Comics. Generally, 'Shonen' manga have more simple humor, and more violence, but deliver a strong storyline, as do 'Shoujo' manga. 'Shoujo' manga center more upon normal teenagers in normal-ish situations with odd twists, such as Hikaru no Go, where a normal teenage boy with a love of Go finds a ghost named Sai in his mind after an encounter with an ancient Go board. Either way, you were wrong on both counts. I suggest next time you learn more about the subject before you go trying to explain it.
