He could win if he was swift enough, I'll grant you that. In SSB:M Yoshi's egg roll is faster than the speed of the F-Zero cars. THose are about 1000km/hr. Granted, that's probably not real, but hey. |

Not so. The only reason that it goes "Faster" is because the map is moving at a rate only a tad slower than the F-Zero cars. That's why you fly away at a rate unparalelled if you touch the road. |

Pikachu is very famous,because well...it is cute...tho is know's one word "Pikachu!" but why is it so popular??? And how come Yoshi is a little le famous? Is it 'cause not many people know Yoshi? I wonder why...  |

Everyone i know knows Yoshi. People at school come up to me and say "Oh! That Yoshi's so cute!" (I have a pic of Yoshi on my binder;)). No one has ever looked at my binder and said "Who's that green dinosaur?" or anything like that. Even my aunt and uncle know who Yoshi is, and they don't know a thing about video games. To me, i think Yoshi is very well-known.

many of my friends know yoshi...and the majority of them admire yoshi, the others dont care, and about 1 or 2 hate yoshi (but that is my fault because of what i did to them, its a long story)

 A lot of people know Yoshi. Particularily girls, so it seems. Everytime I draw a Yoshi on something, it's always a girl who comes up and says "Oh, is that Yoshi? He's so cute!" |

I am very ashamed of those of you who said Pikachu would win. And I'm yet even more ashamed of those who went into detail about how Pikachu would 'own' Yoshi. Seriously, anyone who really would pit Yoshi against something deserves death. Why? Well, just think a little: Yoshis aren't suited to fighting! If they were, they'd have claws at least!! So forcing him to fight would be pure cruelty. Anyone who thinks Pikachu would win probably doesn't know anything (or doesn't care) about electricity. Electricity flows from negative to positive. In Pikachu's case, the electrodes are his cheeks. If Pikachu can generate electricity, he is charging one cheek with negative charge and the other with positive charge. Thus if you touched both cheeks at the same time, you'd get a shock. But he would never produce all that stupid lightning, because for that to happen you need two things: an object with a different charge, and a really REALLY high voltage (figure several hundred thousand volts). That voltage is enough to fry anything down to 'coal state'. And even such high voltages don't go as far as Pikachu's bolts go. Obviously Pikachu doesn't have that voltage, because his owner (and every other Pokémon he's had battles with) is still alive and well even after being electrocuted so many times with that voltage. And even if Pikachu could produce all those bolts, there's NO WAY he could point them to an object. They would just randomly fly towards objects with a different charge. Unless Yoshi were barefoot, he would never be electrocuted by Pikachu's lightning, cause his shoes would serve as insulation. You think Pikachu would be able to see anything if he could flash electricity like that? NO WAY. He'd be totally blind by the intense light produced by his electric bolts. The only real way Pikachu could electrocute an enemy is that both cheeks came in contact with the enemy's body. Thus Yoshi would only need to squash Pikachu with a hip-drop to win, or throw a big egg at him. Game over. Yes I know I mixed reality with fantasy... But remember that it's reality that defines what is fantasy and what is not, not the other way around. Electricity exists in the real world, so I had to use real world terms for this comparison... Where's the faith!?  These guys don't have it!! |

Well, whatever the case may be... it ISN'T the real world, so a creature with force such as that facing one without would have an exponentially higher chance of victory. Anyways, who said we were pitting them together? No one! It's theoretical, we said "Who WOULD win?" |
