Hold it, hold it. Let's not make this a flaming fusillade.
Harry Potter is alright. The books aren't amazing, but they're enjoyable. I don't like the movies very much.

I love the books, and I've seen the movie. It leaves a lot to be desired, because they left some stuff out, but it was still a good movie. I recommend you see it. It was definitely the best HP movie out of the four they've made so far.

I stood in a line-up for two and half hours sandwiched between hundreds of Harry Potter fanatics only to be smashed into a wall and stampeded upon by rabid pre-teen girls when the theatre finally opened. My verdict? Not worth the wait. But then again I'm not a huge fan. I enjoyed the books but I'm not freakily obsessed. I officially hate rabid Harry Potter fans. So very very much. I think I had footprints on my back

I'll see it Wednesday on my day off. The books have been slipping you got to admit. After the 3rd it started losing it's feel.

I just got home from seeing it. It was pretty good though!

I liked it. A lot. ^^.
The reason, I think, that it left itself unexplained was because the producer expected most of the viewers to have read the books, then seen the movie.

Definetaly...I read the book a while back, and I barely heard anyone's name mentioned...VERY confusing for my bro...he kept asking me 'why did this happen? Who was that? I don't get it...' I have to repeat to him what we saw and guess at why it happened. SEESH.
Anyhow, it was a nice watch, I liked it quite a bit...seemed short at the end though and the action is too fast-paced...it goes from one scene with action to another with action...all in two hours and a half...
...the line was so long, I didn't hesitate to bring my DS...

Haven't read or seen any and thus do not care. However, like Final Fantasy 7, it's turning out to be something that seems unnessesarily uber-hyped...
