I moved from Trois-Rivieres 3 months ago to go to college in Sherbrooke, so I'm over there now, but I go down to Trois-Rivieres once every 2 or so weekends. Hehe, I used to live near downtown, near my old high school. ^^

0. I'm sure it's our Cannock town center that scares people off. Maybe one day, I'll gather the money to go out the country and meet people.

Ah, I haven't met anyone from the internet, the high-tech internet.
There are a bunch of people I'd like to meet, but I'm not sure if I would be a very good host.

Meeting online friends? Well, there's about half a dozen I'd like to meet... Incidentally, only two of them go here. And one of them happened to have posted in this thread. Although, unfortunately, I haven't met any of my online friends. Hmm... The chances of me being able to meet any of the people I really want to meet are quite slim now; I can't drive, among some other obstacles.
And then, there's the fact I'm horribly shy around people I've never interacted with in person before. A whole trip to visit someone would probably be spent with me trying to get used to them and become less shy -- more like my internet self.
So, yeah. [And I'm sure Lazo would make a good host.]

Aye, I've met the same people as teh yoshi there -- minus Fifth, most unfortunately. D: I really wish I could have ben there for that, hahah!
Yes, there's always this strange period of awkwardness when you first meet an online friend -- it never fails. Depending on the person you're with and how you act, the length of awkward time varies. When me and John went to visit Joey (Blood) the air of discomfort kinda remained for a little while, although we got over it eventually, hehe. However when I visited Dennis (Mailtroid) first, it didn't last very long at all, he's such a .... personable person. TRIPLE BONUS MULTIPLIER ! !

Aye, indeed.
Many thanks for the Legend of Zelda II: Link's Adventure cartridge you sent me, Gerry! It was but one step closer to completing my collection. I certainly hope that you two can meet, because it really is great to be able to spend time with friends such as these -- at least in my experiences, anyways. ^^

I've always wondered what it might be like to meet and see your friends from a far. I think it would be quite a revelation in it's own sense. Thats merely a wish though, due to age so many things seem far impossible. Yet, in our hearts sometimes we can be driven to go for something thats so far out of reach. Those that have, have done something that I believe would be mentally changing and quite the uplift in this world, yet I can not say fully.

I have always wondered if one of you besides the ones I know for real, go to the same school, live on the same block, lived in the same city, if I actually met one of you by accident or if we were ever at the same place at the same time. That would be interesting....

I have met someone from YC and stayed at their place for a little over two weeks. It was one of the highlights of my whole life but in the long run, it might have been better if it hadn't happened. Sometimes things can be a little too good and might end up causing baggage for both parties.
