We've not got anything planned, but I'm sure it'd be announced when we've got something ready to be applied. If anything, we wouldn't apply anything until December, unlike the house that lives down the road down our gully. Already plastered with decorations, and it's only November, heh.

Hahah, no worries. Questions are there to be asked. I'm sure if the staff are planning something, they'll post in here, although, now you've mentioned it, ideas have probably started roaming around the minds of the staff. I can't come up with anything as I'm so unbeliveably useless at making christmas layouts, heh. I'm too formal with my work, hah.

A contest sounds nice. So does a christmas layout. I love christmas, and all it's cheerfulness. We should also include all holidays, like Hannukah and Kwanzaa to be respectful.
..Say, we've never had a decorative graphic banner/header for this forum. Perhaps we should make a contest to see who can design the best one?

Oooooooo, this has definatly made me interested. We should have a contest to make a banner and/or layout that is christmasy! Or have something like find the present like we did with eggs at Easter. And there are lots more we can maybe do.

I always wondered why teh board never had a banner of some sort. It would be nice to have a contest to make one. Yeah- but doing something for the holidays would be nice. =3 I was supposed to draw up a banner for these boards ever since it got this new skin, but I got lazy  ... I sorry? |

We can play Santa Claus and junk . Whoever wants their name in the mystery basket can just sign up, but must be obliged to draw for whomever they chose out of the basket. However, how can we make one? |

You mean a hat? I've got one!!
You make a simple drawing with different colored dots equal to the number of people in the competition. Whoever picks a certain dot draws for a certain person, but you don't know the color-to-person combo, whichever color you pick might represent someone else, but you don't know that. Each person is BEFOREHAND given a colored dot as a PM. If your dot gets selected by someone, you know they're going to have to draw you. If you select someone's dot, and they turn out to have the matching one in their PM, they're going to tell you, and you'll be doing them.
If you don't understand, I have other thoughts...
Example:
Yin gets PMed a Blue Dot. In the Yoshi Cafe, she see's that Yink has picked the blue dot off the dot chart. Yink is now drawing Yin.
Yin decides to pick a dot, it turns out to be yellow, and Teh had received a yellow dot in his PM just the other day...Yin is draying Teh!!
Now, if a dot is selected, it has to be removed from the chart...or both people make a drawing of the same person... or work out who picks a dot again......I haven't worked out that part, but I think 'remove the dot' is more workable.

I think it might be a good idea just for people to post in a topic saying they want to enter this thing, then whoever makes the topic dump all the names into a hat and pick at random? Or maybe, if you don't want everyone to draw each other like "A draws B therefore B must draw A" Pick like "A draws C, C draws E, E draws B, B draws D, D draws A". I dunno if that even makes any sense, but at least I know what I mean |
