This is very interesting!
I'm thinking for the last scroll, Maric does NOT get a sacrifice...
...but dies later upon the finding of the legendary weapon. He gets hit by a trap which injures him badly, then another figure comes up laughing...and kills Maric in a torturous way. The two others are then engaged in a thrilling battle. Afterwards, Maric is in fact NOT dead and grabs the legendary weapon and actually USES it...
But that's just me.

I think Marik dying as a sacrifice would be an AMAZING twist in the book. Just my two cents.

I think Marik could die, but not because Astres kills him. Or maybe, Marik become evil (because you said he could), and due to that fact, eventually Astres has to kill him. It's a good twist, but you have to use it the right way. =)

hey everybody, this is Gus AKA the co-author to yoshicreator anyways...been a while since i talked on here so i thought i'd give you the update on this...after months of heated debate i desided to give in to neal's way and marik will be sacrificed but there is an interesting twist...marik will be killed be astres by using one of his own ribs...this is in greek mythology when zeus used his own rib to kill his father so we're linking them together...see the point of getting the scrolls is pretty much to make it as painful and as hard as possible (cruel and evil ye but it dose keep the readers reading) so astres kills marik by stabbing marik in the chest useing one of astres's own ribs...it's evil yes but i actually like it but i just thought it's give yall an update and please reply...suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank AuggieYoshi&YoshiCreator, AKA Gus & Neal

I like what auggie worked out, much simpler and better than my idea. Go j00!
Plus, it relates to greek mythology, can't get better than that! (or can it?) I think this will be a great book... hope I get to read it... what's it going to be called again? Can't find the name of it...

I'm not much of help when it comes to movies. I think those are the only movies I know that have scrolls, magic, and wizards. However, did you ever get any ideas from videogames? Try "The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion" That might help you think about stuff. Anyway, I tried to help. Yay!

it's called The Caston Chronicles FYI and we're hoping to get it published but we think there will be problems with to much realativity with Harry potter which is stupid cause theres countless books about schools of magic and JK Rowling is saying it was her idea when there are two books b4 hers that had a boy with black hair green eyes that went to a magic school with an old headmaster who had long white hair and beard and had a friend with red hai who was poor and had many siblings...honestly it's stupid but thank for the replys...i [glow=red,2,300]LOVE[/glow] reading them!! Ive learned in my pasts of writing stories, that having 1 or 2 main characters die dramatically will make the story even more adored by the public.
