OK, I finally got broadband. I was going to download Maple Story and/or Rose Online, but the websites' Downloads don't work at all! What's is wrong with those sites? Could someone help me out on this? It's really ticking me off. (P.S: I know about PFY's Download thing further back about Rose Online, that doesn't work anyomore some reason.)

in maple story? well, im lvl 16..>_<; and my names ralren in a world Called scania. If the download works, and you got your id and stuff ready, type your ID in the game, then make a PIN, to make one, select a number and keep clicking the same number that you picked. (the numbers will move) then after that, go to scania,(thats where Digi, Toshi, Edward dinero, Me, YW is.) pick channel 12, or the other ten numbers because the first digit numbers keep freezing. channel 12 is my area, so yeah. and then, make a caracter. then, your at a place. go to your buddys list and put: Ralren. cap. R. Then, ill tell you the other peoples names later. man...so much to say. XD

mapleglobal.com Must be veiwed in Internet Explorer. Yes, Rose is now Pay to Play because it's out of Beta already. My Ms name is DigitalYoshi(O RLY?! YA RLY! NO WAI!) *cough* Be careful of Scania. It's the most populated. So if Scania is full go Windia. It's a new Server.

Yup, Rose is P2P. Dunno why, since it still acts like a beta. Another freebie I've gotten into, but haven't played for a while is FlyFF. Conveniently, the FlyFF server was down yesterday, when I wanted to play it as they were applying christmas patches. If you're a geek like myself, you'll be pleased to know that the FlyFF site works in *all* browsers. I don't play it often because the control system is so far different from Rose. If you play Maple story, be prepared for an ultra sensitive mouse, and really low resolution, with no way of changing it(Which were both big turnoff's for me, even before I found Rose - I found Rose was very fluid and I was pretty comfy with the system because it used all the sensitivity settings from Windows, and it allowed me to set it to a really high resolution so I could see everything on screen.) Me not having patience to take a sensitive mouse, and low res (I own a custom built, dual monitor gaming system, so thats why it annoys me) I turned to Rose, and as they were preparing for P2P, I played FlyFF. Left and Right on FlyFF are ridiculously sensitive, but not in such a way you can't get used to it, but as with Rose, right click to swing the camera round and use press the up arrow to move forward, left right, make character go left right. FlyFF uses the standard 'WSAD' layout so those that use the WSAD layout in many other games will like this. Another huge turnoff of maple (This was what made me quit) was the fact you need to enter a pin, via mouse(The ridiculously sensitive mouse) everytime you logged in, as well as your username and password. Fair enough, games need to be secure, but thats going way over the top. If an account is 'cracked' because of an easy password, it's their own fault. But thats me.

Well, the URL for the Maple Story Download doesn't work at all. I guess I just want to play Maple Story to see others and this would be kind of cool. a few questions:
1. Is it possible, like to host it somewhere like PinkFloyd did? 2. It seems that MS doesn't take that many megabytes. As soon as School starts(Jan. 4), should I see if that I can download it into my Flash Drive, bring it back on this computer, & Extract it out of the Flash Drive? Would that even work?

The MS client is around 210Mb. Be warned, if you are using dial up, you may be waiting a while as patches can take silly amounts of time to download. The latest rose patches exceed 150Mb, and thats for an entire new temple, 2nd Advanced classes, the entire christmas event, numerous bugfixes and battle carts and other stuff that escapes me.
For size constraints, go for maple. You need DSL if you're going to run Rose, and I'm unsure about FlyFF. The Rose client is around 550Mb and the FlyFF client is around 420Mb.

Well lucky me, I have DSL now. So it shouldn't be much of a problem, but how can the website's download Client be so messed up? It worked once.
