Well, the family didn't come to us, we came to them. I'm finally home BTW!!!! XD Anyway, we had Christmas very early at home, then we go to my Grandma's house to open more gifts and have a Christmas dinner, then we go to my aunt's house and have a family get together/adult party. It's pretty fun, wears us out though.

Well, the family didn't come to us, we came to them. Yeah, XD, I know what you mean Dragon. It's the same way here. They really don't come over here, besides my other sister; she brings my neice then we open presents. That would have been the first year, usually she spends the night but this year was strange. Other than that, tommorow we go to a big family party where gifts are exchanged. You know, those kind of parties with the food which leads to guilt. My cousins are usually there, only one talks to me. Then theres always that annoying cousin, the one who everyone shakes their head at. I sware I think she's in third grade, yet she's in seventh. Well besides that, we also visit our other Grandparents on the same day. We don't do much there but exchange some more and then head on home through the countless hours of traffic. Hope you had a very merry Christmas Dragon!

My family didn't really get together with anyone this year. All of my relatives live all the way up where I was born, in Chicago, and since we are the only members to move out of the state of Illinoise, we don't usually do much. And since we live pretty far south and don't take airplanes, it is a pretty long drive. But every holiday the phone is ringing all day long with relatives on it, so we're not isolated from our relatives.

Ah-nope. See, my family has issues. Major issues. Basically, everybody hates me and mom and the rest of my family on my mom's side because we're Jewish, and my mom's side hates my dad's side 'cause they're Christians. But my parents like each other just fine.
God, I have a screwy life.

Yup, every single year for as long as we lived here in California, we'd travel up Los Angeles to my uncle's house and have gift exchanges, and sometimes even a Secret Santa, with Filipino relatives whose names we sometimes forget because we have so many. I always get Auntie Fresca mixed up with Auntie Daisy. XD
This year, it was just a gift exchange. I got myself a blue sweater. Yaaaay. XD

Went over to Ontario for Christmas, and I'm still there as I type this, not gonna be at my own home til the 28th at the earliest.
We came over here to visit some relatives that live here. Usually, I'd be groaning at the prospect, my family always had this thing about liking to quarrel everytime they'd meet up, which is rather a downer. But, this year, things were alright for once, so I guess this has been one of the more enjoyable Christmas's in a while. Not that all the family got together mind you, but it is rather nice to be able to see them without the older adults arguing at one another.
I think we're leaving today to head back into Quebec, and heading towards Montreal for another stop for relatives before heading back to my hometown to finish up seeing the family. That fact, plus the fact I haven't been in my hometown for 2 months, it'll feel good to get there and see old faces.
