I use Photobucket, but it has a limit on filesize. Only good if you can keep small images on there. I don't know about Imageshack, but I believe it has no limit size...or at least, its bigger than Photobucket's.
I use Photobucket primarily because its easy to use (and it doesn't downsize images which then can't be expanded, which Imageshack does to me from time to time)

I use photobucket. Granted, I haven't tried imageshack yet, but I guess photobucket is fine enough to fill my needs

Although these will be pretty useless for you all, I use Tar.hu and UW. There was an era when I used Photobucket, but I had fed up with its image size terms, so I went back to Tar.hu, which has got no things like that: anything, in any size, and as much as you want. Thank god. D: Btw, I don't think deviantART can be counted as a "hosting service". It's rather a community for artists, where you can upload fancy pictures (or even sell them), write an online journal or rush on the forums. But e.g. you can't link the pictures directly you uploaded there ... anyway, it doesn't matter really, just mentioned.

I use my own site - tetraforge, to host my images. But when I was young and naive and siteless, I used photobucket. Loved that shat. lmao

I use Photobucket, set the maximum image size to 512 KB, and if need be, save the image to .png format; it's much more compact than .jpg format.

DeviantArt doesn't like it if you use it for hosting... And if you try to directly link something from there, sometimes the image won't appear.
I mainly use photobucket since it's pretty easy, but if the file's too big, I go to imageshack.

Photobucket has served me fine for the 2 years I've been using it.
The upload limit never bothered me, I just optimised my images down to a smaller size. As much as I'd want 1MB images, it's crippling for anyone on dialup

I use photobucket; mostly because I found it first and the pictures I send don't usually pass their limit for file size.
