wow, that's a bit extreme. The mouse did meet an cruel and untimely end, but it at last got it's revenge. I guess there's a moral to this story.

Saw that article yesterday. Made me laugh because I live in a converted barn, and we have an abundance of mice around and about here. And a fireplace. They do run quite fast, and I'm sure a flaming one would be quite dangerous...still, must be embarassing to claim that on insurance.

I think the guy is finding other ways to kill mice now. =P Probably the worst mistake he ever made...

This is one of the reasons why when I think of "mice" I also think of "Hammer Time."

What the hell? Why you guys feeling sorry for the mouse? Of course that was messed up for him to do so, but his WHOLE HOUSE got destroyed ... I don't know if I could go on after something like that. And to think that the guy is 81 years old. I'd say that's a horrible way to live the last remaining years of your life =\.

Well that's a kick in the pants. @_@ Still, can't help but snicker a bit at the irony.
btw, DarkBlueYoshi16 and Yoshifrog, I think your sig sizes are exceeding the rules by a fair margin.

Losing a house is hardly justifiable for killing a mouse that could have had rabies.

poor guy,and at 81 too.
For those who felt sorry for the mouse. *shames* -_-() why feel sorry for something that doesn't matter much when a old guy just lost every thing he owned,a mouse has nothing to lose.

reminds me of what my Dad did once XD. One time there was an infestation of Red ants in our backyard. My dad got a bunch of flammable substances and started pouring them into the ant holes that were all over the yard. He lit a match and threw it in and flames started bursting out of the ground.
Nothing lit on fire (except for the ants) and everything was fine! it was freakin awesome XD
