Ok. i know this is a very random thread, but i wanted to know what was your worse experince with a household appliance
ps. Don't include your computer, since i'm gonna make a topic about that later.
My worst experience was a time i was cooking kraft dinner, i forgot all about the noodles boiling and the water evaoirated, the pot caught on fire and i was like........ Sh#T. it was a mess trying to put it out, luckly nobody was harm durring the cooking of this meal.

I left the stove on almost all night while boiling eggs. Don't go there. Smoke everywhere.
Also, I once forgot about boiling water for my Velveeta Cheese & Shells (I guess I was too busy to worry about my apetite, even though Cheese & Shells is like the best thing to have for lunch, and I mean the entire box), and all the water evaporated, leaving the bottom completely white. I hope nobody notices...

My mom once left a pot of Facial Hair removing wax on too long, and the jar inside exploded and the wav began to fry away... the house smelt like absolute she-at for the entire day.

I don't recall my last incident with a household appliance... My parents repeat what to do and what not to do all the time and it feels like they're watching me. I'm not sure if I should be thankful or creeped out...

My worst experience that I can remember is also a microwave-related one. Basically, my dad was microwaving some brownies. Total time required: 5:00. Time entered: 50:00. And then he left the room.
I caught the mistake, I think just as it passed the 12-minute mark. Not fun.

The only household appliance I've had trouble with that comes to mind is stepping on those god-awful three pronged plugs that I have oh so many of littered on my floor. Its like a minefield walking in my room, I tell you. That, and the tack bar I have across my doorway to keep my carpet down. Sometimes it comes off, and that I more than too often step on. By that time, my vocabulary of expletives becomes quite apparent.

Umm, I've had some pretty bad ones with microwaves and stoves, but those are pretty common here, so I'll tell a different one. SOOOO ANYWAY... my mom buys salsa and chips. I want to eat it. Open the bag of chips.. easy. The jar of salsa? Not so easy. So I'm trying to open the jar in my kitchen, and it's stuck. So I run it under hot water and I use a spoon to try and pry it open. I'm putting like.. ALL of my strength into it, and than it wasnt opening, and the hand I was holding the salsa with was wet from washing it under hot water, and WHOOPS, jar of salsa goes FLYING into the television, knocking it off the counter. Oh boy great grounding there.

Heh, i don't think i've ever had a really bad incident with a household appliance (not that i can think of anyway). The worst one i can think of was when i put a Breakfast Jack in the microwave with the foil still on it and then it caught on fire. The whole house smelled like smoke. I was hoping that the fire alarm wouldn't go off. Good thing it didn't.
