Secret Santa 2006!

It's that time again, and, like last year, we are going to perform another Secret Santa event!

For all you new at this, a Secret Santa is an event where you are given a random member to draw a christmas picture, write a poem, and/or sacrifice your time to do something for. Only members who participate in the Secret Santa can get a gift from someone else.

If you are unfamiliar with how this works, you can always look at the one from last year here.

I'll explain what to do anyways. ^^

1) Go to the site www.thesecretsanta.com and register (unless you still have your account from last year). Please make sure the "real" name you use is your name on YC, so that everyone can recognize who you are. There was a bit of confusion about that last year.

2) Next, click this link www.thesecretsanta.com/joinhome.cfm and type in "YC 2006" in the box marked "Group Name" down by the bottom of the page. Press submit after you are done.

3) Scroll down on the next page until you highlight "YC 2006".

4) I decided to make the password the same as last year's Secret Santa, which is "santayoshi". so type that in, and you are good to go!

Also be sure to just skip the wishlist and "favorites" stuff, because we will not be using any of that for this Secret Santa.

The deadline for signing up is December 8th, which is also the date that you will be emailed the person you are doing something for.

I'm joining this too, it was very fun last year. Do you think we should make this a YC tradition? Remember it's your job to give your gift or you shall be shamed. Last year there were some lazy bums who forgot. Shame on you guys.

Yus, please, if you're going to sign up, make sure that you'll be able to do your part. But if something does come up and you're not able to do it, we'll probably do the same thing as last year and have some volunteers make something for the unfortunate.

I guess I'll be joining. I don't do much yoshi art... or art at all... so this should be a good shot at it! But I really do need a more unique character, something special to my character, because who's going to want to draw the dragon thing?
