Maybe ther feet look exactly like shoes, and they've been barefoot all this time. I highly doubt it though... Dude. =D You just made my day with that theory. XD I love it. Double-scoop ice cream So now that is going to be my thoughts from now on. No matter what you people say. :3 Though, reeeally... as much as I would want to see Yoshi's foot (if they weren't already barefoot XD), Nintendo likes their little mysteries. Or is it really a mystery? O:

I really don't know, but I can take a guess like everyone else. I'm still sticking to the theory that the eggs form with them when they're in their eggs.

How can a yoshi's feet be a different color than the rest of their body? It stops making so much sense there. Now what ARE those shoes made of?

It stops making so much sense there. I wouldn't say it stops making sense. Plenty of animals have a sudden, distinct change in color like that somewhere on their body. These lizards, for instance, have a sudden change in their tail color, which is black, white and orange while their bodies are yellow (I know there's a better example of a lizard with different colored feet, but I can't remember the species' name, nor can I find a picture lmao). As for what their shoes could be made of, maybe they're specialised scales. XD That's an over-the-top theory, but it would be kinda funny lmao.

Actually, in Paper Mario 2, only the baby yoshi you hatched had no saddle. The adult Yoshis on the Excess Express have saddles. What? XD You guys are overanalytical like crazy. Maybe he's just born with regular, removable boots? There's no science in Mario games, come on now. And yes, yoshi feet. *Waves them in front of Graed's face*

I think Yoshies have three toes. it's drawn like that in my art. It would be nice if we could actually see what they look like, though.

From what I can remember of the Super Mario World storyline, the yoshis were trapped in the eggs by Bowser, and nothing is mentioned of the hatching being the yoshi's actual birth. And the Paper Mario one probably found its boots after birth, as it seems to be wearing a nappy as well. After all, that would make them pretty much exactly the same question. Though I have noticed how pretty much every bare-foot yoshi picture shows three toes on each foot (mine included), which is logical as a lot of creatures have one more digit on the fore paws than the back paws (canines being the main example here). And as for claws, it is plain to see that yoshis have no fore-claws, so it follows that they don't have them on their feet. Also, if yoshis had claws, then what would the point in Boshi existing be?
