No hero here.
I just never saw the point in it.

I don't have heroes so to speak, but there are a couple people I look up to for inspiration.
Herman Li - Self tought Dragonforce guitarist. Knowing what he could do by self teaching makes me want to continue myself.
Shigeru Miyamoto - Why not? I lvoe nintendo and his imagination is inspiring and how he's done so well.
That's it, leave me be now D=

I look up to NO ONE! I'm gonna be myself, act like myself, and think like myself. No one else has anything to do with it.

Actually, saying that there is no meaning to the term of having a hero is something that is very peculiar in and of itself. You feel that the impression of a "role model" is someone to completly form yourself around. Yet, this trully depends upon decision and the mold of the mind it is taken within. Some can see a model as being that in which you could perhaps, take full posture after. That of a cliche style, the stereotype that the word "hero" falls after. However, in actuality there is another system of the term that is likely used in print throughout these sections. Merely because these people "look up" to someone, does not mean that they thrive on that every balance. It can be mentioned and debated, that instead of shaping their lives to that of another, they look up to this "stature" in a firm belief of inspiration. This is the true power that dwells and situates inside of the human mind, while it is very natural for us to texture our behaviour to those around us; it should be realized that this is not fully recognized as seeing someone as a "Role Model". Just because someone may respect a life that they have seen, does not fully aquire them to take the same steps that the "figure" had as well. It is like that of a point on a scale; something you try to reach, something you want to be. Lets say that you've always looked up to a muscian, someone who plays wonderful melodies you've heard from childhood. That doesn't say that you're going to get your every aspect, attitude, and personality from their behaviour. It could just be showing that you have an adoration for the dedication they put into their business. As well, that could illustrate that you are interested in the musical corporation. Either way, it is not a blunt statement that states any soul as being pardoned with another. Understanding though, it can be mentioned that in todays society it's hard to find anyone with their own natural personality to stand upon. This is only created by the misbalance of self-esteem, and the lost variables of ones own personality. Just because the people around you like someone else though, does not fully go to show you, that they can't find their own face to wear.
A probelm with our world, is indeed the misplacement of our lives; we fail to comprehend who we are, and in the likes of that essence, we drop off our conscience for that of another. We see someone better, so we attatch ourselves in hope of catching some of the limelight. Yet, don't put your whole judgement upon that human aspect, for while it may be a natural cause it's also very rare of the sorts. There are those around us, that exist only on the means of attention and survival. They want the best, and when someone obtains it higher than them; they would walk the walk need to capture such. If you were to put it in slang terms, you could mimic them on the false identification of "posers"; for in justice, that's what they are. They wear the clothes of another star, and they take what they want when they want it. Do not misconstrue someones hero with that essence; it should be taken into consideration that there will always be someone we look up to, to make us feel a bit better about ourselves. Think about this world for a bit, see the people who run those large organizations. They might have grabbed it with ease, but even they will admit there was someone who they saw to let them find that pasture. When you speak to your friends, what do you see? Some see those they love, feel for in every way; because you care about them, you'd do anything for them. In a matter of speaking, many friends around you do turn out to be those that give you inspiration. That does not mean you won't use your own personality to get through the days ahead. A role model can not be given the same definition as that of a "host".
A "host" is that of which the "parasite" must find, it's not a Role Model, and it's not something that many try to speak of. Yet, there are those who thrive with the meaning of being "better" than those they see. They take popularity when they find it to be fit; this doesn't neccessarily mean they enjoy what they do. For they only do it for the attention, not the enjoyment. A role model can be defined in an unclear way, as that of a "guiding rope". Sure you can hold your hands against it, and it might lead you somewhere. Yet, the steps you take are fully your own. You won't cast yourself in some social sea, and you won't forget what you began as. Sometimes it takes someone to make us feel good about ourselves; one reason that "land of oppurtunity" still stands. The forefathers before us, had done so much to this land, and don't think for a second that they have gone without much thought. It's because of them, we are where we are today; and many know this, and look up to the fact. A Role Model is inside yourself, a gem to give you light into a catagory you belong to. So all who stated they had a "Role Model, are not saying that they can't be who and what they were born to be. They are saying that there is something or someone in the world that gives them joy, and the hopes that they to can someday turn into what they wish to be.
Sometimes, the world can be a hard place to get around in. You can stay behind those sheets, and cover yourself when the hard times come. Or, you can find someone who has already peeked over the edge. You can take notice of an event that has taken place, not only to change the world, but a whole culture. Then you can smile, and perhaps feel that you to have the ability to bring about alteration. To make things better, or maybe even become your biggest dream. Lets say you like games, there had to be some point in time that you went, "You know, these things are fun, and the people who make them definetly know how". Persay you enjoy music, mayhaps at one point you've enjoyed a band and song so much that it's given you the influence to learn some instruments on your own. That's the power of a Role Model, that's what it is; it's nothing negative, nor has it ever been.
-- Actually, on that side note, "Being yourself, acting like yourself, with no one to intefer" is actually, not to true. You gain your personality from experience, from those that are around you. The way you are raised will come to influence some points in your life. Sure you won't be the same, and there will be diffrent areas that you may see oppisite from those around you. However, the fact of where you live, how you live, when you are raised, and how you are raised will always play a part. Therefore, to be yourself, and only yourself; you'd have to raise yourself, seperate from a society or any civillization for that matter of fact. Being who you are, merely states that you keep originality about what you see. Don't take someone elses ideas and call them your own. No two men or women or the same, even if they are bred in a familiar family. They will have connecting traits though. The mind is a large thing, and will always and forever be disscussable. As well, having a role model is not "Worship". Just because you find your heart beating in a certain way, does not mean you're going to find your self down on hand and knee to watch after someone. Worship is when you put your every belief and figmentation into something. People have faults, even our role models do. Sure they inspire us, yet it's not a religion. Sure the two work the same, some believe in God others don't. It's what gets them around, some need to feel like a supreme being leads them to and fro. Others need to think that they are alone, and in control of all their moves. A role model does indeed lead us to a path; but we walk it alone, and feel secure because if they could do it, then perhaps you could do. Worship is a very strong word there. A Role Model is more of a relation within the mind, someone that you would stretch out for, wish to meet. Someone who gives you guidance when you're confused.

My hero is my uncle. He's funny, and he's always supportive in what I do. He's the only adult in my family who approves of my playing video games, too. Even my parents threaten to sell all my video game stuff if I keep playing them. But not my uncle. He's awesome, he actually plays with me sometimes. But he moved to Virginia to go to law school, and I miss him dearly. =(

He kicks ass. Anyways, my fictional hero would have to be the punisher. There's nothing quite like a pissed off ex marine who wants to punish every criminal ever born, to the point at which he goes back in time and kills al capone. My real hero would have to be Erwin Rommel. He may have fought for the nazis, but remember, this is a guy who was executed by his own country for helping the allies. Both a military genius and a man of strong moral... strength, I salute him.
