Happy Turkey Day for all you sad and pathetic Americans!
Nah, I'm just kidding. Go ahead and enjoy your break from school and feast on all the nice turkey and honey baked ham you can get.

Yeah, happy Thanksgiving to all of us who do celebrate it!
Well so far I had a pretty good Thanksgiving, seeing some of my family and going to my aunt's for Thanksgiving dinner, and pretty soon I'll be going to my grandma's to have Thanksgiving there as well!

Happy? This is a sad, sad day. :[ Fast food restaraunts are closed and they're playing Christmas music on the radio now. And it's sunny. This is the anti-thesis of happy.
But at least I have today off.

Today was fantastic for me, to say the least ^^. I played football with my friends, and then I came home and was able to put up, and decorate, the christmas tree.
Having no school is a plus as well.

Personally, I think November is still too early to think about Christmas already, but whatever.
Anyway, I go to my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. This year, we have a total of eight people, which actually is larger than most other years.
Five straight days away from school doesn't hurt either.

Oogh... my day isn't looking too happy. I was bedridden most of yesterday with a 103° fever, and I'm not likely to be sufficiently recovered by dinnertime.
Ah, well. Such is...

I know! It suuucks. I want my rock and roll oldies back. Well.. the not Christmas themed oldies, anyway. I don't even like Christmas music much. On the car ride with my dad to a nearby town (to find all the restaraunts closed and thearby making the trip pointless) all they played was either Christmas music, or Elvis. Me hating both, this was an assault of thy ears. And my dad hates it too (sans the Elvis), so we were both complaining about the music there and back.

I don't mind the Christmas music at all. It gets me excited, really. Oldies are oldies, they'll stay there forever. Christmas music only comes two months a year (apparently), so I don't see why you should get yourself so easily annoyed. If the radio isn't playing what you like, then play some tapes or CDs.
As for my Thanksgiving, it was decent. Turkey dinner, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, honey baked ham, and lumpia. Of course, what's a Thanksgiving dinner without lumpia?
The worst part about it, however, is that my dad insisted I play piano for all our guests. Gawd, that was embarassing, and it annoys me when he makes me do that. It gets even weirder since he practically forces me to play Dire, Dire Docks (water level from Super Mario 64). He loves that song on piano to death. It's embarassing for me to play because that song has no outro, it just keeps looping, and I've no way of ending it...

Today was pretty fun. Most of my family came out, and ate and talked. I took a nap after I ate because I was so stuffed I got pretty tired. :3
I love Christmas music. Especially Mannheim Steamroller, they play the best Christmas music ever.

It's not like I'm going to kill someone over Christmas music. It just irritates me a tad, especially considering the one car we use a lot has no tape/CD player and my family insists on listening to the radio. All I'm trying to say is I don't like it much and it would be cool if they didn't play the same fifty or so songs over and over again for a month without really anything else that isn't Christmas-y thrown in. ..I didn't say it was that big of a problem, in other words. ; Thanksgiving related: So we really never have a family get together thing around here. My immediate family is not on good terms with the other part of the family or we don't even know the other part. There's like ten thousand Mexicans in there. That, or the other relatives live in merry old England. But it's all cool. Quietness is good, and I like not finding things stolen. So, basically, the only thing different we did today was the whole having turkey instead of chicken/meatloaf and we actually ate together. Hooray. Even with the argument that was caused mostly by my sister's passionate hate of her sister (who is my birthmom -- my family is a little complicated) and her passionate hate of Jim, whom she never even met couldn't spoil the fun we had joking around and whatnot. Did I mention my sister is a little anti-social? But it was an all right day. Nothing too exciting.

...Now look what I started... oops! I play piano for all our guests. What a coincidence, I played my saxophone for my family. (although I had to convince my mom to let me take the thing!) I think Thanksgiving is the only Major Holiday without any designated music to play. There I go about music again...

I sang a couple of my songs that Im singing in college for my family. Not only did my mom tell me to, I kinda wanted to as well. Most of my family is really into music and I thought they enjoyed me singing different cultures of music for them.
And I also played some piano for my family too. The only real song I played for them was "Flake" by Jack Johnson, because its the only real song I know on the piano. XD

I got in trouble. Go figure.
But anyways, that has to be the most I've eaten yet on a Thanksgiving, heheheh. I found out I like broccoli and cheese casserole. A lot.

Eheh, there were so many turns of events that we finally ate our Thanksgiving dinner at Coco's. But it was still awesomely good. =9
Afterwards, we drove for 5 hours up to Paso Robles (about 180 miles north of Santa Barbara, CA) to some Filipino gathering hosted by someone we are supposedly related to. Yeah, it was midnight when we got there, but me and my brothers still dinked around for a few more hours playing Goldeneye and Jump Superstars against each other in our DS's. Well... I used my mom's DS, but still. Oh gosh, the Pictochatting was hilarious, too. We drew pictures to correspond to the titles of Guitar Hero I and II songs. XD Gooood times.
We spent a couple nights there, since my grandma's birthday was going to be on Saturday, anyway. I didn't get home 'til about midnight last night.
Now, Christmas is just around the corner! Yeeee~ :D
